Crazy to think that Test Drive 4 and Gran Turismo's versions of the Viper looked so different. In TD4 it looks like a completely different car, but in GT, it does actually look right. Even if both games are from the same generation. PS: Blue with white stripes is the quintessential Viper color scheme. Never understood why Dodge stopped making them in that color
That's because Polyphony Digital actually cared about accurate car models. Pitbull Syndicate just threw a video game together with some polygonal blobs that they called "cars" and figured that was good enough lol.
@@LarryLopez91 It was their first game of course its gonna have some hiccups here and there. Car models weren't much of a priority considering the maps look 10x times better than they do in GT. Visually speaking.
Shame that Gran Turismo stopped using the '96 model in favor of the '02, especially since the former had that one factory color (blue with white stripes) scheme that the latter didn't have.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention those. TD6's RT10 wheels on the GTS, that was silly. I don't even know why they did that, there wasn't even a RT/10 in any of the TD games on PS1.

I noticed how they downgraded the sound from Juiced 1 to Juiced 2. The first game have a decent sound effect, the second one have a generic 6 cylinder.

Though I will say they got the stripes wrong in Test Drive 6 & the PS2 game. and correction: Auto Modellista is a PS2 & Gamecube game, it never got a PC release unless you're counting emulation. and it's a Japanese game, not Korean. Though, I'm asking because you said every racing game had the stripes weird. Even Gran Turismo and NFS HP2?

I've heard about that game briefly on IGCD. It looked like a cheaply made game I would find on a phone app store. To note, looking on IGCD, that Viper looks like a SRT-10 Coupe, not a GTS. As for Europe Racer, I think they made that Viper more like a RT/10 rather than a GTS despite what IGCD calls it. The roofline and rear end in general reflect the RT/10 more than the GTS, plus it has the RT/10's 3-spoke wheels. Which isn't much of an issue since the game isn't using licensed cars, they can get away with inaccuracies like that. Gran Turismo 2 & 3 basically have the same gap between their stripes. Polyphony Digital is typically very accurate with the car models like that.

Graphic settings? Are you talking about the emulators I used? If so, how? Emulation only improves the visuals with up-scaling and cleaning up aliasing. but it doesn't automatically give a car model more polygons than what was there and makes textures more detailed. The only way that can be done is with modding the game itself, which I haven't.

The GT games make the best looking version, by far. I honestly think Forza 1 is the best and most accurate in terms of sound though
