You are right in so many points, its funny how sometimes, the community seems like they want to sell some characters, like if they were working for hoyo, in my opinion is really stupid, i think she is one the best characters, at least about last months and versions, but hearing and reading things like "she is a must pull" it is something even irresponsible

Good take, really agree with the banner overall. I think something you brushed over is Xilonen's skill uptime along with ease of use. Much like when Kazuha/Yelan came out people underestimated them, I think the community has learned from their mistakes.
Idk if I should get Xilonen or not, I wasn't interested in her much until I saw her kit, thought of having her for my Navia, but Zhongli was my comfort pick as I am not a sweaty player, and Navia already does 200k + dmg with him its fine for me, also I 36 star every abyss and slowly losing interest in it, more interested in clearing Theatre casually just to try out my friends C2 or C3 5 stars lol and playing completely random teams, it is so easy lol, the hard part is getting all chars built, but I only bother till act 8 (act 10only if I have enough built), I need to prioritize Mavuika first cuz I collect Archons, and I don't have too much time to save up too lol (very busy irl), Now with the 4 stars hmm guess I will get Xilo on her rerun or just do 10 or 20 pulls hoping I can get her very early lol...
i think you forgot to mention that xilonen is useless as support in geo teams if you dont have her c2 (maybe it was her c1?) because her geo res shred is only active when shes on field at c0. in short, if you dont have kazuha, shes an absolutely great pick. if you have kazuha, shes still a great pick but not as needed and if you want her in mono geo teams, you need her c1 or c2 if youre not playing her as on field dps. she is not overhyped, she really is absolutely great, especially in combination with other natlan characters but i agree that the 4 stars on that banner are like a stab in the heart
Nope. With a Geo character in your party, her sampler will shine with Geo giving Geo res just like any other element even at C0. So she buffs Geo just like any other element at C0. Her C2 is OP, But not necessary.
I see only dogwater in this banner and they are those 4 stars. Well, hoyo has a track record providing us dogshit 4 stars. Good luck for people who are pulling regardless. I will risk if and only if it is Mauvika herself in the banner. Otherwise, goodbye then
Yup. If you're at 50 50, you can try your luck. But if you're guaranteed, then I'd Say pull for her if you really want her. Also, Try going for Nahida, and Furina first if you don't have them already. But if you do, then Xilonen is an amazing unit.
@M0har1b most people have them. Sure, if you're a new player but most 2yr plus players already have the core 4 stars. Bennett runs a lot. Anyways I'll take the star glitter. With how terrible 4 star pulls are, only pull if you want the 5 star. The 4 stars are just a bonus.

Yeah. When at the end stages, it's just a matter of "okay, do I really like this character or not regardless of their kit".
