The lawyer is the gold digger
not your wife
All Lawyers are gold diggers.
Dum without the lawyer where you going to get that settlement amount in the first place? Magic? Just like you pay to get something, you want big bucks settlement? Pay big bucks for lawyers to get it for you.
@@superchargerone smart lawyers get the other person to pay the medical and legal expenses on top of the cash you get in hand.
Lawyers* He bedded a lot of em.
@Kalid Ibrahim as someone pointed out, a good lawyer doesn’t charge their client.... they get it added to the settlement
Could have saved himself the embarrassment on television, if he did his own proper accounting.
You saw what he spent, he clearly doesn't care to do so.
Yeah, but apparently it's the lady's job to "manage the house's finance", like, WOW 👏 he won the idiot.
He cannot even comprehend that he spent his money on things that cease to have value within five-ten years and then called those wear&tear due to time, *the Gold Digger.*
He literally marry himself to depreciation. It's depressing, devaluing and deluded. There's no Goodwill left whatsoever.
Yes, it's an accounting joke, not a good one, same goes with his financial skill imo
I was just going to comment why did this need to be done on TV. Just do your own maths. Embarrassing.
dude wouldnt have had this issue if he took a home economics class. budgeting and keeping a checkbook 101
He was reckless with the money and doesn't want to be accountable for any of it
If you wish to dig for gold around me I zero objections sweetheart
Actually she was the one who was reckless. All the items she bought have no re-sale value. He invested wisely - in things like property. He can at least re-sell the items.
You're an angel, right? You've never done wrong, black woman.
.
@@Nielsen1234 wow, why’d you bring race into a conversation that has nothing to do with race? Her opinion is valid.
looks like he's the real gold digger
after spending his money he's looking for someone to repay what he lost.
you'll never find someone like her again and you'll regret it forever
You nailed it
He won’t regret it because he’ll always think he was right.
@@bigchiefsmackaho387 true
Lol. He is not gold digger. He will replace her with atleast 20 years younger woman.
it's his own money
The gall of him, harassing and blaming his wife, calling her a gold digger, when it was really him that blew through the majority of the money.
bro did you see what he spent his money on literally family stuff
@@mohamedtawfik6392 Stuff in his name.
@@mohamedtawfik6392 Even if he did spend it on the family, that doesn't change thr fact that he was abusing his wife and blaming her of wasting it all.
It's still unacceptable behaviour. He should apologise for the same length of time he was unjustifiably abusing her.
"I'm an idiot"
Yes sir you definitely are 💯
@Bax 60 I put my bet on *financial stability,*
because damn, that ex-husband of hers doesn't have that, we all can see
She literally spent conservatively. Out of over $600k and only spent $66k? That's actually pretty good.
Agreed. But on what? Plastic surgery? Should’ve been discussed as a joint agreement considering the fact that it’s a huge chunk of money on things that are not necessities.

My husband behaved just like this. I am so glad the he is now my ex-husband. Totally delusional and always trying to shift blame.
That is call a narcissist, they blame everyone but them, is never their fault even if is their fault...
You shoukd have told me
You did this so thats why i did that
My ex was like that. Used to give me the silent treatment till I was ready to "admit " I was wrong. When I wasn't. Ballbag... in the end I ended up living my dream in Florida instead of dull UK... and he's still in the UK probably living with his mummy.
@@BlueMoonOfKentuckyKeepOnShinin Silent treatment must be part of the toxic ex handbook smh. Im happy for you that you got out.
Even after looking at the numbers, this dude is still trying to blame her. Take responsibility brother, that's part of being a man...
There's no doubt that if he was single, he'd still of blown through the cash in no time flat and more than likely would've blamed someone else for taking it...
right. his wife getting implants after giving him kids and fixing her teeth (which is hugely important)
“Well im an idiot”
Smartest thing anybody has ever said in that seat. At least hes willing to admit he was stupid.

How can a husband call a his wife Gold digger . Regardless these two are not meant to be together . There is no respect
well he is just stupid there are like gold diggers out there he thought he had one but he is just very stupid. lacking a lot of critical thinking
From her expenses, we could see that he just wanna keep a trophy wife. Just look at all those property upgrades he spent on, he is *literally* collecting depreciations. I bet he didn't even think about budgeting the maintenance expenses well, else the family RV would have still stayed.
"I am an idiot" truest statement of the show
My ex did that.
All my fault.
He completely ignored the fact that he made a 300,000. 'business deal' and got ripped off.
He should watch Ozark
I'm just very happy that that woman got herself nice teeth... Huge confidence boost. Good for her.
Right best investment saved her money down the road to
where does he get off calling his wife that when clearly he's in the wrong here? he's so delutional he just thinks every woman is like that
it's his own money
Not to mention I'm sure some of that work done was to please him.
Where's the RV now....?
Well if you hadn't given away money, left and right, you wouldn't have to sell it..
Is that her fault?
He wasted his money n blame his wife dude need to be real with himself that he isn’t good with money that all
He is just looking for a way to get a divorce. I am sure he got some side chick around the corner.
Probably where that missing 17,000 really is
Haha true, wonder if the side chick still want him without his “million”
Did have!
wait till side chick sees this lol.
I can't imagine any woman finding him attractive!
I wouldn’t go out with him
What a jerk, just gross. I'm glad Phil put him in his damn place
I love math. Simple math has put so many things into perspective for me.
Aw boy I wish! I have always struggled with it haha
Money spends quick, the more, the quicker it goes. Wanna see it go even faster? Add in guilt and past trauma.
Didn't know that
Welcome to a world where people are spending more money on attorneys fees than a FREAKING HOUSE!
his eyes went bigger as he started to see the Real numbers....
Well I have never seen such a scared face of someone looking at his lie fall to pieces.
Don’t let an attorney know ya have money. That attorney was laughing all the way to the bank
By the end of the weekend its like me trying to explain where is all my money xD
The fact that he can sit and look at all the things he blew the money on, and with the smug look on his face, still attack her...
lesson being, keep track of your own purchases before accusing your spouse of being a gold digger on tv.
Exactly how not to make the most of $600,000.00.
*Lawyers make the most money.*
The attorney is the real gold digger
LOL
Literally wrote the book
How much money did he get on his own. $0.00. Seems the attorney was worth every penny.
And I suppose every employee is retroactively a gold digger, right dumbass?
If he had put that money in an index fund, in about 8 or so years more since this video they would have a million dollars. 😑
You think people like this would leave money in an index and leave it alone? Not how that works, it was out the door the moment it was in the building.
How did you know that? About the money being out the door fast?
@@Melly16yr10 well look at the expenses. Who does that?
Right lol, or put it into bitcoin

@@ivangutowski Or stonks.
Bro you accuse me of being a gold digger I'm like "okay bye" and you get to deal with your precious money
And he still trying to blame her like she isn't supposed to get any of it
Many people who come into a large sum of money are not prepared to manage it in a fiscally appropriate
manner. When said money is depleted, it is easier to blame someone else rather than the admit you blew it.
Its Ironic an attorney wrote about awarness on scams and con artists while the fact that this dudes attorney got 300k on him 🤣
Attorneys typically get 40 percent of the winnings when it's a medical suit or accident. This is not unusual here in Florida. Just remember the attorneys are taking cases they don't win or the case falls apart after they've spent money on the investigation and the administrative costs. They aren't compensated for those losses. So those costs are normal.
That's an average fee, 1/3rd. Educate yourself.
Attorney didn't take 300k of his clients money.
He took 300k of the money his client would have never gotten without him.
The only person here that got the money was the lawyer what a waste
Where's the RV?
Sold because you have no money for gas.
LOL
This guy's a complete bafoon!
He's blaming his wife for robbing him while the lawyer is quietly sitting in the darkened corner sipping Don Perrignion!
Gaslighting at it's best
not one investment.
The house is an investment
@@fishinwidow35 not his house. 70k for home improvements? He probably had some ridiculous upgrades that lowered the property value.
Rental property
This is why it is important to keep a ledger. One soft copy in your Google Drive and one hard copy on an actual pocket notebook. Good thing they were able to trace where the money went.
Half of those allocated to his purchases seemed like joint purchases... like the house, home improvements, rental property, ...
They are all in his name so nothing joint about it.
Your right how are they not joint if they go for a divorce she will definitely want the house or at least half its worth including the half the rv's worth,

Home improvements, buying a house isn’t too bad the rest are questionable...
You need a car in America and medical care if you are ill
I don’t earn a lot, but I’m worth a million. Paid $600 for my car, 5 years ago. Guys still an idiot.
$15k for an RV?? They either got a shitty RV or got the best deal ever.
I'm guessing the former.
Jordan’s cost 45,000
this is a poignant cautionary tale for us all. it is so so easy to burn through money, no matter how much it is. be careful.
Hes an abuser 🤷♀️ if he didnt have a professional telling him off in front of a camera, he would've argued his way through that financial breakdown. What a loser.

"You're damn right" I LOVE DR.PHIL 😭
I have seen this happen with many couples, both accusing the other of wasting money
For real? Seriously?
3:10 . This part is killing me 😂
Man that's alot of money he spent
How dare he! She was the saner of the two.
Her husband owes her an apology. Man..
I made my husband invest in stocks. He wasn't happy about it, but he did it. We recently cashed it in and bought our dream home. He is now happy about it. Use your money wisely.
Divorced him on National television. This could have been resolved by hiring an accountant, easily!
The way he was trying to talk to her in front of all those people it doesn't seem like money was the only issue
Yeah, it sounds better when you're screaming lies.
You didn't get a million bucks, and SHE didn't blow through it...YOU DID. 🤷🏼♀️
At least this guest was willing to be honest. Most of the guests tend to lie.
Dr. Phill I absolutely love that watch !! Love what you do !!
A fool and their money are soon parted.
I cant stand people who make excuses and blame other people for their failings. Its pathetic
I think he’s jealous when he looks at her, because he can see how she spent a fraction of the money but made the most of it by making permanent changes to her body. She got more bang for her buck, and he spent it on things that were fleeting. Not her fault!
he spent his money on things that also benefited others. It's his money to begin with.
That's his money what you mean 💀he bout her all that's stuff
With the amount of money he was earning, he doesn't need a wife or let alone a gold digger, this lady spent like a normal wife not a good digger standard though
If he held himself accountable he could not handle it. She scape goat. People like this have very hard time being accountable ego can not take it.
It took to go on Phil for this guy to realize this? Lol
I love the bullet point reality checks !
A clear example of why some folks will remain poor even if you give them a lot of money.
Dudes bent that the moneys gone an didn’t go to better things an looks at her even though there’s a breakdown right in front of his face she spent a fraction of what he did damn that dude is simple an shallow smh wow careful how you treat her she just might leave an rightfully so wish her the best I think she could do better 😕👍
The entire relationship aside, let's talk about what matters here. Why didn't these people live well forever off this money? Ignorance. Not stupidity, mistakes, or bad luck. These people were given a lifeline, and you may say it was earned being what it was, but that's not the point. Why did they misuse it? They just didn't know any better.
Welcome to the vast majority product of the American public school system. They teach math, but not how it applies to finance. They teach useless history (not all of it is useless but plenty of it is), but they don't teach real economics. They require things like biology classes, but they won't teach both men and women about each other's reproductive systems and how they work.
And people wonder why there are so many college graduates out of work. What exactly does that little certificate actually qualify you for? To be partially knowledgeable in one thing that may or may not actually help you live a good life? Assuming it helps you be professionally successful, you haven't learned what to do with the money you made. Same thing here.
Schools dont get to decide what they teach. This comes from the State, district or school boards which are staffed by the community. If you Want to change what’s taught in the class room, you have to lobby the school system. Parents should be primarily responsible for teaching life skills.
About the Maths and finance, I know people in Finance jobs even who are stupid with money
@@williammyers269 Well, what if the parents are like these two?
God damn i love dr phill keep up the roasts man 🤣
It cracks me up how people with that amount of money just spend it all on depreciating material items. They’re both complete idiots for doing that and not investing any of it.
Many ppl who suddenly have that much amount of money does that very same thing. They spend it on junk.
Common problem. People without means then come upon a what they think to be gold mine and blow thru it very quickly. Same problem with winning lotteries. I know this is a common problem but I am willing to give this a try with my lottery winnings (as soon as I go buy a ticket).
I hear the lottery is very problematic
Been there.......Not anymore though.......My money, My house...... AND MY SMILE 🤗🤗👍. AND the BEST Part🤔🤔. I'm STAYING SINGLE 🤣😂🤣♥️
Why isn’t the FAMILY RV, home purchase and home improvements under the join expenditures?
I thought the same thing .
Does Dr. Phil have COPD? He always sounds breathless.
A friend of mine received over $100,000, from an inheritance and that was after attorney fees and taxes. She and her husband spoke to an investment banker and financial advisor who gave them amazing advice, but The whole instant gratification feeling won out and instead of investing or fixing the older home she received from her grandma when she passed several years prior, they blew threw it buy two brand new trucks and a couple of RZR 1000, and yep, they’re broke and divorced now.
He even lost his truck to a failed loan and they sold the RZR’s for a fraction of what they were worth. Sad, sad, sad.
That’s the fastest I’ve ever seen that much money disappear.
Hope she runs as fast as she can. Last guy I dated that was like this bled me dry... And we were both broke! Stealing from Peter to pay Paul broke, but he'd insist he needed some b/s toy. If I said no, then he pick a fight or mope or buy it anyway to spite me (which meant I would have to cover his portion of some bill).
Like my ex, this man is all balls, no brain.
His take away from the financial breakdown is that he referenced the wrong amount? 😬🤦♀️
This is why the poor will always stay poor.
When he got that money, he should have broken up with her and enjoy his life.
Even if she spent her money on a digger, there'd have been nothing left to dig with his skills in squandering.
How is a home, an income property, and grandchildren stuff “his” and not “joint”?
If i had a million dollar, i can live all my life jobless and not run out of money
He wanted the standard upper middle-class conspicuous consumption items. It's sad how American culture creates this desire for these display items, and how easily many fall for them.
Finally someone to at don't blame just one gender but all society is just repeating itself and it's not getting any better
Couldnt care less about either of them and their first world problems. And as for the hypocrisy of that lawyer writing a book about how to protect yourself in divorce... !!!
People do this a lot more often than you would imagine.
The truth is in the bank statements....it is sad....but true.
I’ll never understand how people who come into a significant amount of money can blow thru it like it was a billion dollars, or like they have an orchard with magical trees that grow $100 bills!! It’s mind boggling!! Then then up broke!!
So thankful im married to a generous man, alhamdulillah.
I don't know how Phil came about him blowing about $400k. He spent about $370K on property. He has an RV for the family, money for the grand children and spent about $30K on himself in the purchase of an off road vehicle and improvements on his truck (which could even be for business). She spent about $60K, I don't feel any of them blew the money, they just improved their lives and it cost money. Maybe they didn't need the new vehicles they both got(could have saved at least $30K), the cosmetic surgery cost could have been saved but the breakdown shows there should be an expected inflow of above $100K for sale of second rental property.
It baffles me why people air embarrassing stuff in front of millions of people. Also, I imagine if people prepare a "post nuptial" agreement then 90% or more divorce before it's signed.
My husband blew threw any money I got in heart beat blew threw his money I and my son never a few dollars tried to blame how immature they are.
He called himself an idiot for the wrong thing.
I love this
