I never understand why people ask things like this! If you have a fridge you will know how long things keep. Brining fish is a well-known preservation method. As long as you keep it covered so it doesn't dry out, then it will keep for 1-2 weeks. But why would you need to keep it that long? One thing I would make sure to do is make enough brine to cover the fish completely. Mackerel are known to have parasites and if the fish isn't completely covered then the parasites might survive. This is why the Japanese always serve Mackerel pickled and never raw.
I’ve been wanting to try this forever 😍
I love Eastern Europe... I ate alot of their delicacies with a reasonable price there...
How to keep leftover fish mackerel? And how long can it save in refrigerator

Hi! Yes, you can add just peppercorns: black, green, white, red or mix
Does this cook the fish? 😅
It’s cure with salt but you can cold smoke it.
Definitely trying this. I’m afraid of fish guts tho
I don't like touching the guts either I use a glove if I need to pull it out with my hand. But the finished dish is always worth it.
