    You don't realize how big a tree is until you have it dug up and laying on the ground in front of you. Thanks Mike. Always enjoy watching you do tree removal.

    Hi Mike. Sketchy trees. I did the " same" to my best friend's 2nd house/ driveway. Then I left to live elsewhere after 7th years. Then he " repeatedly" done. What I did 7 yrs ago! We were talking about sketchy trees. He said Every 7 yrs. I do the "same." Cut them down & into firewood/ bonfires. ( He doesn't own an excavator. He will rent one if needed. It's pain. You have to fill it's tank. After using it. He did. But. The renter said " He did fill it "right." 🙄🙄🙄😬😬😬🤔🤔🤔) That's can be tricky moving buildings on your sister's driveway. When my best friend moved his sugarhouse late spring of 2016. He cut down 3 inch trees on thier dirt driveway. Fortunately. No bigger trees. It was a interesting set up moving that sugarhouse. Well. Thanks Mike. Say Hi to Melissa, Melissa's dad, Eva, Hunter, Levi, Kate, Tyler, & Hannah. Then 💐💐💐 💐To Melissa, Eva, Kate, & Hannah. Have a good Tuesday night the 17th. 🥰😊😉👍❤️💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌳🪵🔥

    The best thing I have found for the back pain , is the heated seats in the truck . Plus they have the added bonus of keeping take out food warm , especially if you keep it covered with an old blanket .

      I’ve had chronic back pain for over 20 years. I try not to let it define me but it definitely has impacted my life. I try not to over do it but at the same time, baby’ing it only makes you weaker. Like you, I let my Kubota excavator do the heavy lifting!

      @@stephengmeiner3264 sorry to hear that Stephen. That's one of the hardest parts, both learning and accepting your limits. Too much and your down for days. I'm curious do the both of you have the leg pains? I don't wish it on anyone but till you lived the life, you just can't understand. Atleast we wake up every morning and it's a new day. Your referring to Mike Morgan with the excavator, I wish I had one. Take care friend. Rest easy.

      I had sciatica that ran down my leg before my back surgery. I had a herniated disc between L4 & L5 that was smashed against my spinal cord. They fixed that so now I don’t need the 6400 Mg of Motrin each day but I still feel stiffness and lower back pain everyday. I’ve learned to never put anything on the ground that I don’t want to pick up. Tables and workbenches are way better than working on the floor!

    I’m 73 and started having spasms at 17 playing football irritated my spondylitis. A certified trainer at OSU told me (at 35) to apply ice immediately for an hour. Start heat next as needed. Best advice ever!

      @Laughinghawg Месяц назад +3

      Yep! I'm not 73, yet. But I'm catching up fast. Same thing happened to me at 17. Cost me a football scholarship. Back in the 70's medical techniques were a little different. Doc said operate or stop contact sports. Chose the latter. Keeping my core strong and doing the specific exercises always have helped get mine back alignment.

Hard freeze, good solid ground for in the woods tree work. Seasons for the pond, and many of their projects. Not only i enjoy all the "Morgans" Videos i learn a lot, even Off the Leash, Levi's Eva's channel and the rest. So i guess i can say without fear of contradiction "YOU CAN teach an old dog new tricks. :) [72]

    That driveway was a lot of work! Thanks for the mud which helped.
    I have 5 acres of forest left. I have an easement running on my land for the Sewer lines [2 large]. They cross a corner of the property. Poor neighbors would pick out the knocked over trees and saw up some caught them once taking one down - never talked to them. No sweat to me. Hurricanes always take some. Maybe it will be cleared better.

    I think a day like today is the perfect time to deal with those trees! When you pull the stumps out and put the wet dirt/rock back in the holes it packs way better. 35 trees? Doing like you did today would be one day. Levi cutting the root ball off the stubborn ones would be even better. Geterdone!

The furnace we had heated our home and our hot water. Wood heat is definitely the most comfortable heat. We certainly saved a lot money healing with wood.
