Thanks for watching! Should we do more videos like this?
Yes!
Yes! I love to see rocks being found but I always get frustrated when I don’t see their insides at the end! 😀
Yes! And this yellow rock is really exceptional!
Yes, please, that was beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I can't wait until the next God bless and stay safe bye
Omg, this one is gorgeous! I love rocks…and looking forward to more from you 😊
Cool you found a yellow stone at Yellowstone!
😂😅
Beautiful yellow jasper ! I don't see that crack as a bummer, it gives it character !!
I've seen these called lightning stone jasper too.
Becciated yellow jasper, reminds me of lightning stones.
The first foundation of Benjamin! Ezk.28!!! Satan's covering that man worships!
wow a beautiful brecciated yellow jasper
Right? Such cool material.
This is terrific. I grew up with a father who took us rockhounding in the high mountains when I was a child. I grew up with the sound of a Tumblr in the basement of our house I considered it a lullaby. Later he bought a rock and gem shop with a giant saw out in the back, plus sanders and everything else. He also created lapidary work. I grew into being a stone sculptor, so I've worked with sanders as, well as with other power tools on hard stones. I really enjoy watching other people who hunt for rocks and then polish them up if needed. I am subscribed.
Sounds like a really awesome way to grow up. Where was this, if you don't mind me asking. What sort of stones do you sculpt? Thanks so much for watching.
I'd love to see more finished polished specimens rocks, for sure.
If you head through Oregon, see if you can stop at Hampton Butte and do some digging... beautiful green jaspers!
That was a most unusual stone. A beautiful cut and polished stone. I am amazed at the “tool” set up you have. A rock hound’s dream!
I’m amazed at his tools too!!
Wow.
When I was a kid in Mexico my father had me collect fire opals "in the rough". I gathered 5 grocery bags full...those big paper bags we used to get. We toted them in the back of the motor home for 2 months until he lost his cool one day. He asked me to help him dump out the bags with him, thing was we happened to be in Yellowstone at the time...he chuckled while explaining that some "rock knocker" would wonder how these Mexican stones wound up in Yellowstone. It was probably 200 pounds of them....now you know. It was 1973 and I still chuckle about it.
Nothing more unique then an agate adventure
That would make a beautiful pendant! ♥️ Beautiful
❤❤❤❤❤❤My grandpa was a rock hound, so am I. You have some great lapidary equipment!! Keep posting videos please.
I will keep it coming! Another one on the schedule for this Saturday morning - 8 AM MST
Love the yellow jasper you found in the Yellowstone gravels. There are a lot of fine agates and jaspers in these gravels besides the Montana Agates everyone hunts. I have about a ton of these gravels I selected back in the 1970's. Fully half of what I selected was not Montana type agate. Lots of jaspers and petrified wood. Bryan G.G.
Beautiful, glad I found your site. Enjoy your vacation.
Great snag !! A yellow stone from The Yellowstone, resplendent !!
Turned out way cool !!
Give Kip a treat & let’s go throw discs !!
🛸
I have a theory that the Yellow Jasper out here gave the Yellowstone it's name.... no way to know or prove it, but it seems fitting.
@@AgateAngler OR - there’s uranium in the area ??’
@@Luciddreamer007 sulfur is yellow also 😂
I love rocks too! 🕊🙏❤️🙏🕊
This was a gorgeous piece! I also enjoyed the polishing montage, I haven’t seen a whole lot of that on other rockhound videos. Ahhh, I wish I was out west, finding cool rocks! TnT Thanks for sharing!!
I really enjoyed watching you find, cut and polish in one video.
Very beautiful rock find
That is so lovely
Beautiful!
Beautiful Jasper!!
Can you pls upload a video showing and explaining petrified food you found recently in your shorts videos and can you go more into detail and share some facts about them and show them and explain why the colors come from
😂 I read that and immediately laughing as I was thinking of my son....in the laundry......finding petrified food in his shorts.....in the depths of his pockets...... 😂😂......the colours came from a variety of fungi & bacteria....... Thankyou for the giggle..... Bless
@@user-zb1yy2xm9v hahah your welcome I meant shorts as in like his RUclips shorts vids but I am glad I was able to make you laugh 🤣
Wow that is a beautiful rock!!
Frankly, seeing the original un-polished piece left after you polished it , seemed educational, prompting to look deeper into everyday stones. Kudos.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
Very cool. Enjoy your vacation
Thank you, I will
When I saw the results of that second cutting, I was astounded!!
Great find! I get much smaller chunks of a similar material all the way down here in SE Texas. They tumble beautifully.
That turned out really nice
Wow that's a wonderful piece
Thank you! Cheers!

This just doesn’t get old
Pretty!!!
Very easy on the eyes. Very beautiful.❤
Thanks Susan!

💛 beauty 💛
Totally enjoyed your video
Glad you enjoyed it
Yes
Its intresting that most rocks are the same as most other places we got the same in New Zealand
That is fascinating to think about.
❤ one of my favorite stones
Have you ever gone to Agate Beach near Copper Harbor Mi? You should
Awesome 👌 ❤
That’s a beautiful jasper, thanks for the video❤
My pleasure! Thanks for watching.
Very cool. Found a piece very similar to this one just a couple days ago in Oregon near where I live
Awesome find. Beautiful!
Awesome Video!!!
Glad you enjoyed it
That is a nice rock.
That eas so pretty 😍
Excellent yellar!
Yes indeed!
awesome!
Interesting yellow agate. Did you also cut-polish a 10mm (?) thick slab to see what/how the pattern might have changed?
Beautiful! I'm just learning as an old lady who just retired. What type saw are you using? I'm in Mississippi, but it would be nice to cut a few of my finds down here.
Beautiful! I've never found one. Hopefully one day.
I hope so too!
Thank you!
Nice job!
Thank you so much! Keep your eyes peeled to the channel - I am giving away a rock tumbler this weekend!
Another cool find, great job.
It'd be wise to have a clickable emblem pop up on the screen at the same time you ask viewers to subscribe, that way people can click without waiting for the video to end.
Also the title of this video could be a little more enticing, maybe something like:
"Yellow ALIEN ROCK - This Gemstone MUTATES"
Nice color ❤
It is a really vibrant Yellow
My birth stone is topaz I love the yellow ish stones
Didn't realize how fascinated I am by rocks.
Turned out great. Hey while in Oregon, if you have time maybe you could head down the coast to DelNorte County - crescent City CA.
I am hoping to!
Beautiful find.
Over here in New Zealand we call this stone a Storm Jasper.
Where I live in Hawkes bay New Zealand one other local rivers have these beautiful stones.
They are hard to polish,so chippy
That’s a great name for the material
@@AgateAngler yes it is , rivers of chalcedony running through the jasper
@@AgateAngler I recently found a beautiful Stormies (storm Jasper)
wow
Are you using the padded wheels on your slant lap, I’ve had so much trouble getting things polished to a beautiful shine
Which lap machine are you using?
I’m surprised I’ve never ran into you out there. I spend a lot of time in the same areas. I would love to hang out and hunt with you sometime. My friend has a mini jet boat that gives us access to a lot of hard to reach locations
Maybe one day!
Very cool! Oregon video?
Hopefully!
Yellow isn't my fave color. That did shine up very well, but didn't come across as a "Gem".. Glad you are out Rock Hounding.. Can't wait for the rest of your Summer videos..
I have some really good stuff planned for this summer. Keep your eyes peeled for a video this week (Wednesday I hope) with some incredible drone footage of the Yellowstone flooding.
I subbed 👍 and will be watching, thanks.
Welcome aboard!
So what happened to the first piece you cut off? You couldn’t do a cabochon out of it?
Actually the crack gives you a peek at the inside before polishing.
looks like stony creek jasper from CA.
Thanks for using p.p.e's
I,m watching for the give away 😂.
It is a coprolit!
Can you please guide where to buy Gem Cutting Machines
Depends on what you are looking for.... I am happy to answer questions. I am not an expert though haha!
@@AgateAngler I need guidance to purchase gem cutting machine for cutting stones to check whether they are agates.
👍
Can I speech it's the golden stone
Look like that gold
All hail!
How is your PA job going
Thanks for asking! I love my job but it can be emotionally exhausting at times
Those are all over the south and huge! I have several. It's part of the last destruction of desolation on earth and DNA of sorts! Test's???
Maggie❤😂❤
That how the river got its Name ???Aloha DSC777
If the rock starts to get hot as it dries out it's not a rock...
Cool jasper❤
Wuooo
Good job body
just passing by, but thanks for not making me watch you put your fingers in danger while cutting, Y take chances? pretty stone
If you stole it from Iowa, youre in deep trouble
thats 5 minutes of my life wasted!
Glad to help ;)
I have a question if anyone could help me. I am new to rock hunting. I have picked up some good ones. I think I found a blue sapphire, blue topaz or one of the other gems like it. Also what I was told may be a diamond but is not but it may be diamond quartz. My quest is. I don't have the cash to get expensive equipment so how would I sand cut and polish with home items.
I live in Bozeman and recently started hounding. I would love to meet you. Any chance you're over this way anytime soon?
I don’t make it to Bozeman much. But thanks for watching and I hope you’re able to get out this summer and enjoy all the unique rock hunting opportunities we have in MT
