Hello. Thank you for such a nice video. I recently came to Japan and still don’t know much about this place. I am living here in Tokyo. Can suggest me a few places near Tokyo where I should go for fishing? And what kind of gears should I buy for surf fishing? I am new and would really appreciate your guidance
Hello! Thank you for watching the video. I’m not too familiar with fishing spots around Tokyo, but I’ve been wanting to try surf fishing in the Kashima area in Ibaraki Prefecture. As for gear, recently, there are specialized surf rods available at tackle shops, so choosing one of those could be a good start. Personally, I use a seabass rod as a substitute. For reels, I recommend a mid-range one like Shimano Ultegra 4000XG or Daiwa Freams LT4000-CXH. Hope this helps, and happy fishing in Japan!
