Nice video from a humble shooter. Appreciate that you said you were still learning. Lots of people would never admit that and then proceed to do things incorrectly and make themselves look foolish.
Red thread locker? If the stuff in the packet is like Loctite Red - you will have fun getting that off if you ever want to. Typically Loctite Blue is recommended.
Thanks for the video. What is the name or site for the wrench? I should probably use one instead of torqing my self! Also, how are things going with the PDP and the Holosun?

CHPWS has a video (ruclips.net/video/5WYLywG3qaA/видео.html) that suggests you dry fit everything before full assembly. I did that when mounting my Holosun HE507K-GR-X2. I'm sure glad I did because one of the screws used to attach the Holosun was a tad long. I filed it down and it worked great, but if I hadn't it would have caused real issues with the mount.
Yeah, not a fan of recording in selfie mode but I'm doing this by myself and it's so much faster than going back and forth from chair to camera to make sure the shot is good. Still learning, it will get better.. thanks for the comment.
Sorry it took so long to respond.. life you know... I'm not sure what v1 is but all I did was fill out my pistol info on C & H website and they sent me what I needed
I really do like my holosun 507c x2 the glass is super clear, the reticle is crisp and bright. Price is not so far out of reach that you need to mortgage the house.. my fear is that if you start dipping down into the less expensive you get inferior glass, bad battery life, weak housings and so you end up having to replace it a lot sooner than you would if you went ahead and spent just a touch more... the holosun is the perfect compromise in my opinion
18 in lbs is to much. 10-15 is all you need. I used the c&h plate and it says 15. I didn't use the screws that came with the holosun but u am sure the blue is good enough... get you a paint marker and put a little hash mark across the screws so you can see if they move at all.. let me know if I can help at all.. Thanks for watching, it is truly appreciated
@@soperfirearmstraining3412 i used the plate that walther sent me and in the manual it says 18 so im going to trust that no offense to you at all just probably best bet. the holosun manual says to torque the screws to 15 for the sight itself so thats what i did. i did however make the mistake of using too much locktite and had to do a ridiculous amount of cleaning due to it seeping out everywhere lol at least i know its not going anywhere .
i wound up taking it apart after shooting to add more locktite because the included screws had some but i removed and replaced them a couple times and it made me paranoid lol

I can appreciate a "new to the gun scene" guy who isn't afraid to just jump in and get it done. Nice job.
Thank you

Great job I learn everything on utube myself . Appreciate your videos. Thanks
Good job Tory! I think that was the most comfortable I've seen you on camera. Told you it wasn't hard to do 🙂
Thanks man.
Fantastic. Im about to install a Trijicon on my PDP. This was very helpful.
Thank you
Great video, I appreciate your knowledge, big help for me!
Feel free to reach out anytime glad to help when I can
Appreciate the real video.. had struggles .. kept expecting the T’s to sit flush but mine do not

Irritating to see you screwing it the wrong direction cause the video is mirrored. I use the same holosun reddot on my PDP Fullsize 5". Great Pistol!

Is that what it is? I thought maybe he was in australia
You mights have already answered this but I assume you are using a V1 optic plate?
Sorry it took so long to respond.. life you know... I'm not sure what v1 is but all I did was fill out my pistol info on C & H website and they sent me what I needed
also i have a question. my screws came with thread locker already on them, is that good enough?
Yes
Trying to find an affordable optic for my Walther PDP.

Why did you get the digital torque wrench? I just ordered the manual one by the same company
I am wishing I had bought the manual one. I thought the digital would be more precise but it does not break away at torque like the manual
@@soperfirearmstraining3412 thanks
It's supposed to breakaway...mine does.
Do you have the digital or the mechanical? My digital doesn't but my friends mechanical does.
Really hard to see what you're doing if you're not zooming in. We can't really see nothing from here.....
Yeah, still learning the whole video stuff. And at that time I had zero equipment to help in video quality
the manual says to toque the screws to 18..

@@soperfirearmstraining3412 who told you 18 ft/lbs is too much? Walther says use 18. They should know I would think????
