Thanks for the unboxing. It was fun to do it again. I got the bigger package where they include lots of props, both gold and platinum. Not sure why the different colors. We have a week of rain going on up here so I can’t fly it yet and I have six jobs waiting. Sun next week. I think that RC switch on the side is a paring switch.

DJI has stopped making these drones...The DJI air 2 has left these things in the dust
Everything is virtually the same. Don't get me wrong nice color scheme. But to market another Mavic for just reduced noise props and 3 minutes of flight time? Maybe they could have worked on getting more frames per second on the camera for video. Then I would say go for it.

Aldryn, I finally got my MPP yesterday. I had to do an IMU calibration after my first flight due to a slight right drift, but all is well after calibration.
Nice. Ya I recommend doing the IMU when you first get it. But good that you go that out of the way. Did you watch my first Mavic Pro video Setup?
When did you order yours? I ordered mine more than 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard back or seen any update in the delivery

Yes it works but wouldn't use them since the ESCs are designed to be used with the new props
I love the sticker you have on your Mavic Pro! Where do you get them?
Could you do a comparison with the old battery on the platinum to see the flight time? and the old props too?
Is the dji smart controller compatible with this drone
I just saw that in your regular mavic you kept the sticker that goes at the gimbal motor on top. On mine it started to peel off and in the initiation sequence it would rub on top and it would prompt "the gimbal obstruction / motor overload" check. After I removed it it stopped doing it. Haven't you got any trouble with it?

Buena onda ver otro Argentino por acá. I will write in English so Aldryn can understand better. At the time when bought new I didn't care about it because I didn't wanted to interfere or damage the gimbal, even if it was turned off. But as soon I saw it would rub on the initiation and gave that check, I didn't doubt much about it and took it off. The drone is brand new, just a couple of weeks old and it must have like 6 - 9 batteries of flight time. Luckily I bought it from an official retail store, so if my issue continues, I will have no trouble sending it in for a check up.
I was just coming here to mention that at 6:33 you can still see a packing sticker on the Mavic Pro Lead's gimbal.
From what I know, it is a sticker that is supposed to be removed. The reason its still on my original mavic is because the heat from camera and gimbal kind of melted it on.

Hey man...I got my drone finally... it's absolutely amazing. I love it..I'm taking it nice and slow ..using your vids as a guide which are really helpful..I'm just wondering about its ceiling height.. it says it will go 500 metres..but will it.. I've only gone about 90 metres which is cool as... but weather conditions...and nerves are stopping me going higher..will it ACTUALLY go that high.??..its surreal using it at the moment and I don't want to push it beyond its limits...
I don't really test the height as most of things I shoot are relatively in range. I've seen people really push it when it comes to height, but I keep it close for the type of shots I take.
Great video Aldryn! Just curious, I have an iPhone 6S inside of a rugged version Otter Box. Will the Mavic controller readily accept it or will I have remove the phone from the Otter before inserting into the controller?
Otter cases are big. You will most likely have to take it off.
Nice video. But when you turned the quad on it never done a gimble calibration, did you still have the gimble lock on it?

hey man Just on a follow up.. I got 16gb sd card with the drone...I'm gonna order a 128gb now I think...I'm using my phone and dji app to do the small bit of fun editing as I start out...any suggestions on how I proceed to my laptop and what apps I should use to edit the longer videos I'm gonna get.. it's just for fun personal stuff..nothing as sophisticated as what your turning out but I'm not exactly tech savy so any advice for dummies would be appreciated 😊😊

Hi I’m new to drones should I put the money in and get the mavic or just get the phantom 3
veytexe get the mavric it is,way better and smaller it's easy to carry unlike the other drone s and it,easy to fly
I started with the Phantom 3 advance and it was very good for me, now i just updated to the Mavic Pro and is fantastic. I suggest that you start with the Phantom 3 and then if you like it go for the Phantom 4 Pro or Mavic Pro

It's a possibility but doubtful. I think they would have come out with it already being the Spark has been out for a while now

Is it just mine or does anyone else have this problem on the Mavic Pro. When I went to plug in the charger into the remote I notice the male to female plug doesn't match. It can be carefully plugged in and it still charges if you inspect it first.
I'm a little confused. Are you trying to charge the remote or plug it into your device?
Plug in the charger to the remote, so I'm charging the remote. It's the cord with the USB, which plugs into the charger and the other end to the left side of the remote control which doesn't match the shape of the male end of the cord.
I’ve seen a few people on the forums saying that they are getting a Code error 0x4000000 already. Does this mean they have to be sent back or will a firmware update fix it? I’m supposed to get my MPP today and hope I don’t have these issues.
Can an IPhone 6 with a basic cover on it still fit into the remote, without having to remove the phone cover? Thx
