I'm sure Larry has done a video on this, but if anyone new to busses doesn't know, you can route melodies and stuff then have it run through the effects buss as WET ONLY (just turn down the dry in whatever you're using or mess with the mix knob on the bottom of the insert track of the bus if you want to take away or add more). This can lead to some interesting things. Like putting on reverb then having that reverb only signal go through an effects chain.
I enjoying making beats on Fruity but this was always my challenge when mixing because I do it so easily with live recorded elements on Cubase, Thank you very much.
Also have heard the advice to give the kick its own mixer group, so can process its sound separately from other drums . Am experimenting with using mixer groups for drums, bass, kick. Seems to help. Also saw advice to put limiter on each mixer group slot , instead of putting a limiter on individual mixer slots. And I’m putting Maximus on master mixer slot Does seem a bit tedious to create a mixer group slot rather than putting effects on the mixer slots of each actual instrument. But like you mentioned, helps to glue similar sounds together when you apply eq and compression to a whole group of instruments
@@SiriusLeeMusic yeah, I actually meant Fruity Limiter, using the compression feature of it. So basically doing eq and compression on instrument busses
Would you use this, if you wanted to export stems as a group. Instead of exporting each individual track is a bus grouping them the same way? Like if I wanted just one channel ie drums that gets exported that has my kick and everything recorded as one and that is my “drum” stems? if that makes sense. Thanks
Great tutorial! And the doubt here is how do I get the stems of these bussed tracks with the fx's we put in the bus track? Sorry If I'm asking something wrong!
What about parallel processing? If i want to add parallel reverb to say snare and if i choose route to this track (drum buss) only. Won’t it remove snare from the reverb channel? How to do this thing then?
Im a little confused here.. after routing melodies to a melody bus. I add gross beat 1/2 time to the bus, yet the melodies still play normally but with the half time on top.. any fix for that? Was a step skipped
what if you already have them being routed a sidechain then you wanna run an eq on only certain things. The volume gets so loud when I route it to a new mixer track
one thing i have realize is anytime i add a sample or instrument into a group buss the volume increases...sometimes i get confuse with that.............What can i do about that Larry??
Because you’re not selecting “route to this track ONLY” you’re probably just clicking it which will route it to that channel AS WELL as the master, just make sure it’s not linked to the master also, unless you want to parallel process.
How do you feel about making music in fl studio ? Because I have it but I’m always hearing that it’s not the best daw for vocal mix or mastering or is it just a personal interest?
notifications always on bro💫💪
Ya get me 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I can't express how much i am thankful for this video. I was so confused about the arrangement of buses. Looks like this time you got me lol
Haha no problem! 🙏🙏

If i ever make it big ill be making sure to give you mad credits. Youve been such a massive help with my growth this year
2:16 "When you hit that track button, it's gonna name it in the mixer..." BRO, with that one tip alone you changed my whole life lmao
Thanks for dropping the gems!! Lowkey alot of good info in here

2 years late but just what I needed thank you bro
thank you! very helpful quick and simple

Use a soft clipper instead of a limiter

Dude... I had to take notes... great information. Thank You.
Thanks for the video, good job Larry 👍
Only issue is, the volume goes up everytime I route something to a channel. Any fixes for that?
Sheesh beat is HARD!!
Question can you still sidechain sub to your kicks without it disconnecting from my kicks
I swear man you have the best tutorials how they are broken down to common sense level is a life saver 😂 💯👊🏽 #YeaIGetYouBro
nice but lets say i side-chained my kick to my bass how do I route my kick to the drum bus track without destroying the side-chain?
GREAT DEEPLY APPRECIATE YOU.💯💥
Cheers bro , massive massive help
great tutorial,it helped me a ton!
Great tutorial! And the doubt here is how do I get the stems of these bussed tracks with the fx's we put in the bus track? Sorry If I'm asking something wrong!
Damn that beatis fire 💯💯
Would you say it’s better to compress on individual buses or just the master once everything is mixed & ready to boost levels?
what if you want to add a filter to an individual instrument after you’ve routed it to a bus? Does it still work or will it effect the bus channel?
can we low cut the melodies or only low shelf ?
How do you get the bars with the words on the bottom
Very helpfull, exacly what i was lookinng for!
Can you mention your pc specs and suggest us how to build a pc in a budget?
I have an i7 with 16gb of ram. Nothing too crazy.
Great and well explained. Thanks!!
Great One, Needed That.
💙🙏
Thank you so much boy !
🙏🏽🙏🏽 thanks for those tips
Came here for the obvious and heard the beat slapp... YAHELPME!!!!!!
Knowledge I needed a year ago haha
Just make believe you forgot it lmao 😆
Have you released this song? If so, what is it called?
Is there a way to listen to just the compression or effects like the wet sound only
thanks for the lesson. but that beat is fireeeeeeee
I love hyperfollow but when I make my own link it doesn’t work but the ones they create always work
Should I compress my drumbuss and melody buss together or this a bad idea
Great video man 👌🏽 just wondering if it's possible to do the same procedure for vocals?
Thanks and yea of course!
@@LarryOhh sweet as, I appreciate the feedback bro 💪

how do i fix the audio being doubled? its playing on the original channels and the bus making it really loud
Really Helpful ❤️
What if I have to export a fully mixed project with buses...?
What do you mean by a fully mixed project with buses?
Can i export the busses as stems?
Very helpful! Thank you
sick beat!
🙏🙏
Question: when routing multiple sounds to a bus sometimes I don’t get a sound. Where might be the source of this issue?
what if you already have them being routed a sidechain then you wanna run an eq on only certain things. The volume gets so loud when I route it to a new mixer track
to send channel to mixer, instead of track you can hit ctrl+L
one thing i have realize is anytime i add a sample or instrument into a group buss the volume increases...sometimes i get confuse with that.............What can i do about that Larry??

Can we create parallel master bus in fl studio
Thanks you Boss!!🔥
Just took a life curve ball, and shit halted for me.. I am gonna just binge watch as many larryoh as I can.. Will update!
🙏🙏🙏🙏 let’s go!
Right on point🦾
should an 808 be included in your drum bus?
I wouldn’t. I’d leave it in its own.
How do you remove a track from a bus or in other words unroute it from a bus?
I Get You.☺️☺️
God bless you
Dope trap 🔥 how I get this track
Do you need to export all those busses for stems too?
When you split mixer tracks they export all.
@@LarryOhh yes but i mean that if you send the stems, does the receiver needs all of the mixer busses?
Yes they would need the stems for the busses.
bro why am i not subbed to you already when i follow you on Insta! lmao
😂🙏🙏 ya sub me?
@@LarryOhh yessir I did Ya heard me?! lmao!
Great explanation and awesome beat!
When i bus to a track the sound doesnt come through
I can so imagine there being a cereal called Larry O’s or is it just me ?
6:47 wtf you just turned down frequencies, thats not low pass or high pass

fl its good for beats, but for vocals and mix master you need logic or ableton
Use what you are the most proficient at
