You don't have to eq so much on your melody, just use a little bit of sidechain compression helps a lot too :) I also have trouble to find a good faderposition for my hihats, because if you compare the loudness on your headphones with your studiomonitors they are always way to loud :)) Love your Videos :))
Good loudness in my opinion is around -10 to -8LUFS with True Peak not to surpass 0.6. Nowadays the use True Peak over +2.5 and loudness -7 to -5 LUFS, also new commercial songs sound boomy like not having high end, and their vocals grunged like Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish etc. Also drums are so hard and bass so dull. New songs tlack of high end, lack of dynamics.
so you don't put anything on the master besides the soft clipper and everything sounds the same (as far as quality) when you export for playback across the board on studio speakers, headphones, car, and heaphones? That's been my biggest problem. things don't sound the same when exporting. My EXPORT settings (Fl studio) : Wav bit depth: 32 bit stereo resampling Quality: 512 Point sync....
So I’ve been making beats for a few years, I’ve been networking and trying my best to sell my beats and get placements with artists, I haven’t gotten any placements yet, I only post my beats on my Instagram story, I’ve been thinking about starting up a RUclips channel and making videos on how I made my beats, hopefully to better market and promote myself, thinking about just recording myself with my phone and my laptop screen with a screen recording software, who would watch if I started deconstructing my beats?
lollipop one question please, appreciate your opinion on this: what is a good start in order to make profit out of my beats slowly but surely. iam a bit of an overthinker and i dont know where to start. this is what i have in mind: youtube tutorials? or just a beat channel? beatstar etc? like how do i start? :)
Have a beatstars and upload each beat to RUclips too, dm artists every day on Instagram and slowly you will get sales. It took me 8 months of consistently posting beats and dm’ing artists to make $1000 so just keep going
Depends. You either mix quiet or loud. She mixed it loud, so might need to lower volume in the mastering process. For -6db process you generally make it louder in mastering.
Why drums to be so hard?I don't undestand! All these basses they use nowadays and hard drums, also the extreme loudness they use around -7 to -5 LUFS, hide the details of songs and make the songs to distort awfully.
I think you're gonna be one of the most important people in the industry.

Factsss
thanks for the value provided in this video!
thank you so much!!!!!! this helped me a lot🤝
That last beat sounds like a storm is brewing. Like someone is about to go hard on it

Hey , you are a great producer . Keep goin , never seen any female producer before doing shit 🔥 like that
One day, someone is going to explain to me why every beat sounds like a soundtrack to a 80s horror movie

Hi Lolly! Please , how to make hard trap pro hihat patern?
I did a video recently on drum patterns! ruclips.net/video/TN8UrcaaBUk/видео.htmlsi=CSB5BJDnqniMNpoc
aye i need a deconstruction of the beat on 7:40 that shii hard asl
The -3db depend on the transient of your sound (clap) not the real loudness (lufs).
Maude Miller from the Inbestigators needs to render those melodies
🔥🔥🔥
love dat tnx
Shape your kicks, kids !
Same...im so used to creating/mixing on headphones i dont even use my monitors
Best 🙏🙏
Wonderfull beat ;) 🌴
Do you find it better to mix in headphones or speakers?

don't let any any sound hitting above -3db, in mixer master-channel that's the beauty
Love you girl you’re amazing ❤😊
nice plugin because desing by emrah çelik. emrah çelik from turkey and i am from turkey ahah its
proud :D
U don't side-chain 808 to kick, only clipper?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
4:18 you had been scared because of kick? lmao
damn! that thumbnail. the designer knows what he doin
I edit and do all my thumbnails 😂
do you put a soft clipper on the 808 as well as the master?
Do you sidechain 808 and kick? If not
Bruh use soothe2
Freaking magic shit. Fast af.
I'm having some problems getting ur anomaly stash drum kit 😢
how to customize new FL studio with colour presets make vdo on it
so you don't put anything on the master besides the soft clipper and everything sounds the same (as far as quality) when you export for playback across the board on studio speakers, headphones, car, and heaphones? That's been my biggest problem. things don't sound the same when exporting. My EXPORT settings (Fl studio) : Wav bit depth: 32 bit stereo resampling Quality: 512 Point sync....
I use 24 bit but I use ableton, 512 sample rate
If everything is quiet then use a limiter on the master to bring back up the volume
@@equilibrium788 imma give it a go! Thanks! Does 32 bit duck the sound quality after export? Wouldn’t a higher bit rate result in better quality?
i thought the norm was putting the kick at -6 and level/mix everything from there 😭🙏🏼
Dope
💯

Your whole beat should be -6db before mastering or not?👀
why's that?
Leaves for more headroom when mixing
Depends. You either mix quiet or loud. She mixed it loud, so might need to lower volume in the mastering process. For -6db process you generally make it louder in mastering.
how do you get the green lights in fl studio
I never trust my headphones to mix..no matter how expensive. I prefer using monitors. Thus tutorial is really helpful though. 😊
My sweet teacher come back
I think most interesting facts in this video
First❤❤❤
🙌
how’s the 808 and the kick not clashing without limiter or sum sort of side chaining?
Soft Clipper and good leveling is why it’s treated like a limiter on the master to my understanding 💯
What' tempo u be cooking on ?
Kick shaper free?
We need the real sauce!! But congrats on the sponsor
Oh wow in the studio at ATLANTA no one told you there is a guy who do the MIX AND MASTER??
Imagine key Glock on that last beat 😮😮
Whats her master level hitting at ?
You dont want your beat to bee too loud so u turn up everything and after u done u add a soft clipper
Anybody know what kind of headphones she uses?

Can you give me an opinion about my beats?
lol you can literally eq the kick to hit just like kick shaper 😂 but nice ad
Give us beat contest now we cook up
Oooo
Next time try mixing in mono. Then when you done take mono off.
Side chain...
Come brutally criticize my chill beats pls
808 and kick mono
"turn up volume of drums and use kickshaper (totally not sponsored full video)" so lame ehh
Why drums to be so hard?I don't undestand! All these basses they use nowadays and hard drums, also the extreme loudness they use around -7 to -5 LUFS, hide the details of songs and make the songs to distort awfully.
