I had taken my friend to the station to catch Amtrak to KC and was standing on that concrete section when TWO freight trains came by AT THE SAME TIME. Quite a rush, but I also felt it was dangerous. I was afraid the visual affect of seeing the freight cars passing so close in opposite directions might disorient me, so I sat down on the concrete until they passed. Still, it's a great memory.
