Maya helped me decide what I wanted to do with my life, I started watching her in May 2020. I watched her streams often and now I found a passion for the environment and animals. I am going into environmental law and I am happy to say maya is the reason for it.

See now the hardest part is not the shaved head, it's the hair growing back and having to constantly adapt until it eventually grows back to what you had. On another note, great stuff Maya, you are one hell of a human being.
Yeah the awkward stages are the fuckin worst. I finally grew my hair long enough, just to cut it back to medium length because it was such a hassle.

Well I think a big reason people are able to is because they can write it off their tax. Maya's friends and the community as a whole can literally see their tax money being put to good use.

I've never really comment on a youtube videos but you're doing incredible work and it both warms my heart and fills me with hope to see this. When you talked about the issues of awareness when it comes to conservation it brought legitimate tears to my eyes. (My heart is tied to the ocean/marine conservation so hearing you talk about the lack of education on how to help/what is actually happening really hit home) I'm still just an Earth & Environmental science major in college right now (and still don't 100% know what I'm doing after undergrad) but the way you're using your platform is by far one of the best things I've discovered on Twitch. Thank you for all you've done and all you continue to do. You're a true inspiration to me. :)

Well done on raising $500k but also credit for not being more upset at the hair cutting then shaving. The one and only time I shaved my head was 20 years ago as a teen, I hated it but due to how fast my hair grows, it was only a few weeks before it was back to a length I was more comfortable with.
I imagine you'll be trying wigs for a while, from what I've seen even in the past few years wig quality has improved in leaps and bounds.

What you were doing at the end, this like reflection of the stream and just saying the things you care about or just enjoy thinking about, made me feel at peace. The part about not knowing is beautiful, I keep to myself because of some reasons, and listening to you speaking about a percentage of people who think the same way and believe they're alone while others also either come to realize about a certain subject, like animal preservation. I love what you do with your platform and really felt the same when you said, "I have nothing better to do in my life" and not having a purpose per se, but a need that you yourself want as a goal, not an individual goal, but personal. nothing to gain but progress and moving forward in the best of ways, Together. I loved this stream, I hope I didn't ramble on either.
