I've really wanted to try mosaic crochet, and always thought it would be fun to try and afghan kit. Whenever I'm able to, I'm definitely getting this kit. I love the black with the colorful yarn; it reminds me of a stained glass window.

Am not familiar with American yarn weights.
A size 4 hook, is usually used with an 8ply yarn, which may be equivalent to your DK yarn.
Love the mosaic pattern. I'm making one that looks a bit like a houndstooth pattern.
