  • In this video, I went into a solo helldive mission against the Automatons using the diligence counter sniper and railgun (solo helldive) (all clear) (no deaths)

    Scorcher kills gunships in one mag so I like to pair it with railgun. Might be worth trying out. Don’t even have to aim for an engine.

    That's a really nice run and very chill with your commentary, i've learn a lot especially for the gun ship. Great video man ! Trully a Democraty warrior.
    Personnaly i prefer terminides because it's more fun to see them blow up. As for a load out, i prefer to use mainly fire weapon and stratageme. It's really good because they attack as "swarm" and fire help a lot !

    The problem with gunship and railgun is that it's really hard to hit the same thruster. It take in theory 5 fully chaged shots but the projectile is a bit slow and the gunship move around a lot.

    I'm not a huge fan of the railgun, but I'm sure that's a skill issue on my part. With the packing upgrade on the ship, the recoilless is straight-up S-tier. Good gameplay!

    Most if not all of of the high explosive stratagems can kill a Detector Tower in 1 hit btw. This includes 500kg Eagle, Precision strike, 120 or 380mm Barrage (if they hit....), and a couple of the SEAF arty shells (High Yield acts like 500kg, Mini Nuke is hell bomb, Explosive might be exactly like Precision Strike).
    It's something about those strategems having enough armour pen + damage, so if you or your squad has any of those options they are easy solutions to the eye of sauron :D

    clean run, you should try the flamethrower EAT combo for bugs. also recoilless is great with the crouch reload cancel, much quicker at 2 shotting bile titans than quasar.

    I really don't see why anyone would run the railgun over the autocannon, since the autocannon also annihilates gunships and can destroy fabricators, freeing up your grenade slot for stun grenades so you can easily take out hulks. Sure, the railgun doesn't use the backpack slot but I've learned that pretty much every backpack strategem isn't worth taking for the most part, since the opportunity cost deprives you of another offensive option which you sorely need at higher difficulties to deal with the sheer number of enemies and armor being dumped on you. Smart positioning and fortified medium or heavy armor should be all you need for survivability, the shield backpack is just overkill in most cases.
    The only time I would use a shield backpack is when I'm running the laser cannon, because you need to have a little bit of sustained time on target to kill things, and since the laser cannon doesn't have any stagger you will be vulnerable to the enemies your firing out shooting back at you and staggering you instead.

      I prefer the railgun because it is much easier to control than the autocannon and has shorter reload times.
      It also can one shot any bot except things like tanks and gunships

    I like the 500kg bomb for the detector towers. Quick in and out and they’re done
    I used to pair the dcs with the arcthrower. Fun combo, but a little bit harder now that the hulks aren’t stun locked by the AT anymore. Stun grenades still make it doable but I’ll have to give the railgun a try.
    My favorite railgun build is medium or heavy explosive resistance armor, railgun, adjudicator, and supply backpack. Other parts of the kit are stun grenades, grenade pistol, eagle airstrike and 380 barrage. The supply backpack gives you all the ammo, stims, and grenades you could want. It’s a great one man army build or plays well with others because you can go a long time without needing a resupply.
    Vs bugs I like Blitzer or incendiary shotgun, eagle airstrike, eagle napalm, guard dog rover, and flame thrower, grenade pistol to close bug holes, incendiary grenades for breaches. If I’m trying to go solo and need to cover for bile titans then I might use EAT over the rover, but I usually have an ally to help. You can also switch out flamethrower for EAT or quasar if you want to keep the backpack. Biggest trick is to napalm or incendiary grenade the breaches to cut down on the trash bugs. Blitzer will stun attacking bugs including stalkers and bile spewers while incendiary breaker will set everything on fire to deal dmg overtime.

      Just to note, build against bugs with blitzer, grenade pistol, stun grenades, flamethrower and 500kg bomb is legit so self reliant, that u can close pretty much any objective with it, blitzer for hunters and stalkers, stun grenade and flamethrower to the leg for like 2 seconds melts chargers, 500kg, if u understand how to use it, oneshots bile titans, grenade pistol manages holes, u can also get something like claster, airstrike or oribital airburst for breaches and random bug armies. The only real problem is bile spewers, they are managable, but if they are on a map, there's shitton of them.

    Ok you ask for it and altough i think you wont try this one here it goes.
    -Breaker incendiary
    -Granade pistol
    -Stun granade
    -Patriot exo-suit (you may want to change this for a 500 kg eagle)
    -Quazar (or recoilless rifle (that arent so good when you are solo)
    -Guard dog rover.
    -Eagle napalm.
    Simple, as soon as bug breach spawns if you decide to fight it throw a napal right o. Top of it, count 5 or 6 seconds and send another one. Most of the mobs will die as soon as they spawn from the ground.
    If things get too hard, you have the exo suit that will prevent you from take damage (just keep an eye on the bile titam spew and the charger attack where he jump on you with the 2 front legs those are the only things that can insta kill when in a suit)
    And if you're going to solo it it might be a good idea to swap the suit to a 500kg, it will help a lot with the TTK of this loadout when you are facing multiple charges a titans at the same time. ( throw the 500 in front of the bile titan and when it passes close to it bait his spew(if the mission dont have the call in stratagem penality it should be right on the for the bomb to drop and go off))

    Only thing ive found for bug breaches are orbital cluster and napalm strike. They do on but still not the best for just putting everything down quickly

      Orbital laser has been a clutch machine for me when it comes to breaches and rouge patrols

    You can use the 500kg to destroy the Detector Towers. Orbital Precision Strike also works on them. That is a stratagem I slept on for a long time, because I seen it as starter gear. But it has become my go to over rocket pods lately.

      Been bringing both lately, detector, hammer once disabled, rogue research, broadcast, tanks and towers. Doing work on otherwise tough to take down objectives.
      Even damages Walkers some.

    My go-to stratagems vs the terminids are the 500kg Bomb (for Bile Titans), Orbital Gas Strike (throw on top of bughole breaches or in the path of large groups), the laser Guard Dog Rover (to help with all the small stuff chasing me around and especially with hunters), and the Flame Thrower (to melt chargers with and to just throw a couple lines of AoE between me and the bugs to thin out the herd). Primary weapon is usually the Incendiary Breaker or the Sickle, although I have to say the Pummeler has been growing on me for stunlocking Stalkers and other quick enemies, and as a backup method to kill chargers. Secondary weapon is the grenade pistol and grenades are the G-16 Impacts, both for closing bugholes and dealing with nursery/bile spewers. The only real weakness of this loadout is you can't deal with the Shrieker nests at long range, so you either have to close and perfectly drop 500kgs on them or use a hellbomb.

      As an aside, the Orbital Gas Strike can easily be swapped out for something else. I just happen to like it. But on worlds where the accuracy of orbitals is reduced, I drop it. There I usually take EATs to deal with Spore Spewers and Shrieker nests, as well as another method to deal with Titans and Chargers.

    Against bugs personally I use incindiary breaker, incindiary grenades or stuns, any sidearm, airstrike, napalm, Autocannon and EAT. More or less covers everything I need. So long as have the fire damage ship module upgraded you'll get so many bug kills with the napalm, and friendly kills 🤣🤣🤟

    Breaker incendiary is the goat against bugs. Kills all the small guys with one pellet, including the flying shriekers. Just spray the entire swarms with pellets and they all burn to death. Hunter patrols are a cakewalk. Breaches: napalm. BTs/Chargers: EAT+Qasar. Spewers/commanders: impact nades and grenade pistol. 4th strat slot is dealers choice (one of my favs is autocannon turret which is great for both CC and heavies, and especially nice for solo helldives).

      Even tho breaker incendiary is a really good choice, i dont like using it. Somehow my entire squad is on fire 24/7 when im equipped with this shotgun. Some kind of gamebug i assume :)

    About terminids and 'understanding' the different type of enemies, let me try to give you an advise: It's always about the confidence you have with the loadout and the efficiency of that with the enemies you're encountering. I always need at least one game of warm-up when i switch enemies even if i have a loadout that i trust. And trying new loadouts It's every time a game of learning the timinings of the stratagems, what can kill and murdering potential. What i'm trying to saying is: do not think that you play better with bots then terminids, instead give yourself some time to adapt. If you have in front of you an enemy of democracy be sure that it can be killed, so just do It.
    This is my terminid loadout: napalm Eagle (for breaches and general walling off everything less a broodcommander), energyshield backpack to not get slowed down, flamethrower for cooking down charger legs and 500kg for titans. Primary its more up to you, i've been playing blitzer a lot vs terminids, of course stun granades help a lot with chargers, and pistol granade for closing holes.

    Very nice play! What is your opinion on using the normal diligence instead? The larger capacity might make it better if your aim isn't perfect.

      @@Mute_R6 Solid gameplay, for the bots, I’ve found good success with the Eagle airstrike and 500kg bomb, orbital laser, and Anti-material rifle, medium medic armor, scorcher, the verdict pistol, and the og grenade. Very similar to your build but it handles the gunships easier. I’m not tied to the weapons or grenade but as of rn I find them fun to use. Give it a shot if you want to. I usually play on diff 7 with randoms and just solo the poi’s and bases for samples. I have yet to find time to solo diff 9 but I’m working on it

    Do you use the railgun on safe mode?
    For the bots i use, anti-material rifle, scorcher stun granade and granade pistol... with x49 emmancipator 380mm barrage and eagle air strike( the normal one)... you should try it...
    Oh, and with any armor that reduces recoil and give +2 granades

    yeah th rail gun does destroy those gunships, i actually run the exact same primary and support weapon, it just takes like 4or 5 shots to the same engine, ive taken 3 down in one setting before but it makes you want the quasar cannon, otherwise the rail gun quickly eliminates enemies if you can actually land the shots

    For the bugs, I find Breaker S&P and the grenade launcher will clear most breaches fairly easily. You may struggle against chargers and titans without bringing EATs though

      Killing bugs is mostly about crowd control. Breaker and it's different variants have a lot of rapid fire spread shot that helps a lot with smaller bugs. Explosives and incendiary strategems will also help massively at higher levels.
      Spewers are extremely weak to explosive weapons, and the grenade launcher can one hit them without much need for accuracy, other weapons can kill them more slowly also. The face is the weak point
      Chargers are heavily armored, but an EAT or quasar to the face will one hit them. A concentrated flamethrower blast at their exposed leg joints will also melt them fairly quick
      Titans are best killed with EaT, quazar, or Recoilless shots to the face but can also be more slowly killed by explosive, heat, or incendiary attacks to their undersides

    Sorry, but what is going on at 15:30 ? Before You drop 500kg on the Strider it's being bombed by something that looks like Rocket Pods strike, but I don't You acctually dropping that. What is happenig? Anyone can explain?

    great vid! So it's not necessary to put Railgun into unsafe mode? I've been avoiding it since I don't like having to worry about the overloading problem. Also what exactly do you press to cancel Railgun reload? is it like Recoilless where you just press crouch or smth?

      For most guns you can reload cancel by just aiming with them. It isn't necessary to put the railgun in unsafe mode, but that will allow you to get away with not being perfectly accurate with all of your shots because a fully charged railgun can one shot a devastator in the body if you are willing to charge it that much.

    Ive killed gunships in about 9 shots with an eruptor after the nerf, you should probably keep shooting at the gunship in situations like this with your railgun, as dumping a bunch of ammo into it is better than letting it continue harassing you, especially since there's only 1 gunship.

    15 shots to the nose of a gunship with plas scorcher will take it out. the nose. not the engines. had to do that on 22 May when I solo'd a airbase destruction. you can lose gunships but it's very difficult. they will chase you across over half the map.

    Blitzer/rover makes you immortal to everything accept chargers and titans so just use the rest of your strategims to kill them.
