Just got done with a game with two other random players. No mics, no chat, first time facing those big acid bugs, and got everything done and extracted with barely any time left. We didnt die almost at all, but that was the fight of our lives so far. With all that said, I have not enjoyed a video game this much in years. I hardly played anything the last few years and was worried I just didnt like games that much anymore as I got older and life got tougher. I am so happy with this game. Every single thing about it makes me feel like a 14 year old teenager playing with my friends, and I honestly did not think id ever feel that again. I am so happy that this game is doing so good that its literally suffering from success. I could not tell you the last time a game had me on the edge of my seat sweating to try and survive and get off the planet. Lets give those robots hell Super Earth!
I really like how the side quests aren't always pointless, like being able to use the SEAF to arty or the radar tower to find POI, the more I find out the more I enjoy this game.
On the bot missions there’s sometimes a SAM turret you can activate that will shoot down dropships. Unfortunately it has a pretty small range from what I’ve seen, but it’s still neat!
On higher difficultys, on Bot missions there are also jammers as optionals, that block communications with ship, so you can not use stratagemes at all in their area, unless you do the side missions. Can get nasty ignoring this.
I found out if you’re the last person alive with no reinforcements, you can accomplish the mission without extracting. I was being chased everywhere by armored bugs and a charger, I kited them around then got to the console to upload data link. Got all the buttons in before the charger killed me at the console. The game thanks you for your sacrifice lol
Something my group did for chargers before we had railguns: The Expendable Anti-Tank rockets have a 70sec cooldown to start with, fastest in the game for supplies. When you call it in, hit the charger with the beacon, and it'll usually stick *and* track the thing, unlike orbitals/eagles. It'll kill the charger quite a lot of the time, and if not, hey, now you have rockets to finish it off.
EATs are honestly a noobs best friend. That 70 second cooldown is potent too, you can spam the things everywhere. I leave them on routes I think I might be retreating through later, I drop some near extraction if normal gameplay gets me close enough for a pit stop (my record is saving up 5 pods/10 launchers at extraction before we called it in), I've almost always got it in reserve if I need it immediately too. It might be single use but goddamn does it do work.
EAT-17s are MVP, for sure. I always bring Orbital EMS Strike along, too. You can guarantee the drop lands on them, or even just calling down Resupply on them if needs be, lol. Orbital EMS Strike is such a great "Oh shit!" stratagem.
Correction: Charger butt is not a weakspot it is just not armoured. Its weakspot is under the front leg armour. If you manage to get rid of the armor you do weakspot damage there.
All the legs on a charger are the weakspots. The Auto-cannon can 3-4 shot a Charger. You hit them in the inside of the back leg. Its a bit wonky on the hitbox though. Also for actual weakspots, you deal an extra 10% more damage. However, explosive weapons deal 100% extra damage to weakspots. So more reason to use the AR-23E or the JAR-4 Dominator.
Another fun fact. You can still WIN the mission after 0 hour (but before the evac leaves) if you complete the objective. Pulled a really epic winning sacrifice lettinv my buddies evac while i heroically finished firing off the ICBM.
@@eathealthymeditateeveryday4949 I think the very first time I used supply pack a tip popped up and told me what to do. I almost always miss those tips so I just got lucky lol.
That’s a cool tip. I’m not being facetious at all, but I still just can’t see the supply pack giving anybody more value than the rover or shield. Might be fun to try that out on a solo on challenging or something. 🤷🏻♂️
Dude the part about rebinding stratagems to arrows is a game changer for me. I was skeptical about moving my hand from the mouse but it's actually helpful
@@PulkaSkurken If you take stratagems off WASD, it allows you to keep running while you're keying in your stratagem. The default binding stops you in your tracks until you finish keying in the sequence. Means if you're being chased, you still have the ability to call in reinforcements or some other well timed stratagem.
Note about the super samples: All the super samples for the map will be at that special rock. They do not spawn anywhere else. HOWEVER, there's a bug that if you try to quickly pick up the sample, the sample will be bugged and it wont be picked up. You can actually see this happen in the video when the first sample isn't picked up at 6:31. Stop moving and let the "pick up" animation complete before moving on.
My pro tip for anyone running a supply pack as myelin points out when you click on a resupply it fills your reserves as well as one slot on the supply pack. So what you can do is drop a resupply click on one of the supply items. Then drop the supply pack for a teammate to grab and then click on the resupply. They will then fill their reserves and fill another slot of the resupply. Effectively turning one ressupply into 2, meaning more grenades and ammo that you can be much more liberal with. Helping to clear out hordes better before they can call in back up.
I think a very underrated tip is that extraction is not part of the win condition. I get into so many games where I'm trying to get samples and fail because once my team have completed the main objective they are rushing to extract with no or few samples. Once you get the main objectives done, unless you're in a hurry to get off, there's no reason to extract unless you have samples - extraction is pretty much purely for samples, secondarily for the extraction bonus - which is going to be small regardless if you try to extract when not all your teammates are there.
The changing to arrows keys on keyboard for strats was one of the first things i did in my initial couple hours playing. Really handy to be able to keep running while doing it.
Another movement tip; Don’t heal right away. Even if it’s just a scratch, as you can sprint fully, heal right before loss of stamina- it slows you for a half second, but it fully fills your stamina bar and gives you two ish seconds of free stamina before it starts going down again. Allowing you to double sprint in bad situations or if trying to beeline to evac or other locations. As for the SEAF arty, side stepping is slightly faster then dropping the shell in front of you as it slows you down. But side stepping the shell drops to the side and due to the game having physics you aren’t slowed everytime you run into the shell when dropping it.
For Bots, shoot at the berserkers (twin chainsaw hands) glowing red midsection, closer to the crotch. This is a weakspot and will kill them faster then if you just spray into them. Same for all forms of devastator, you can shoot off arm weapons by aiming for joints, but headshots with something like the anti-material rifle instantly kill them. You can even do this against hulks if you get a lucky shot at the visor.
Doesn’t matter if you die at the end of a mission or in a mission, your character is a clone with hundreds of copies 😊 That’s why you always come out of the cryo freezer. Excellent video for an excellent game
Amazing video. Assigning stratagems to arrow keys, unlocking the recoilless, the rail gun and the shield backpack are my main takeaways. Thanks so much!
One I figured out today is that if you haven't found the radar station, you can still hunt for POIs fairly effectively because they'll show up on your compass as question marks when you're within about 80 metres or so, line of sight or not! Very useful as it's only the salute pods that emit a yellow indicator beam.
Chargers weak spot isn't their backside, it's their front legs. Yes the back isn't armored but that just does normal damage. If you shoot the armor off it's front legs you will see their actual weak spots. It does increased damage to them
Expendable Anti-Tank are phenomenal, 70 second cooldown, and with the first ship module upgrade for Support it has 2 come down in each drop. Not only can you use the calldown to kill heavies, break bases, or blow up nests, but the rockets themselves are great for taking out objectives at massive ranges. Spore Spewer off in the distance? Just shoot a rocket at it. Transmission Tower? Rocket. Bile Titan? It's going to take more than just those rockets, likely... but at least you can blow off chunks of armor reliably as well! I highly recommend the Arc Thrower, too. You have to be careful of it chaining off an enemy at an ally, but as long as they're not on the other side of a target from you it's generally fine. Arc Thrower kills most enemies in one or two shots, I cannot wait for the new electric weapons on the 14th.
With controller you get analog to move around and D-pad to code in strats. So that first tip really helps put you be at least in same league as controller.
I like that the thumbnail shows the FS-38 Eradicator armor set. It's the only armor I ever use for bots, since it's fortified light armor. You can run fast for cover, you can weave through enemy patrols easy, and you barely get scratched by rockets and such. Genuinely a good buy from the superstore if you want the best bot armor in the game.
If you’re on a controller or Deck: Set auto aim to max, set stratagens to toggle, and use macros! I have an 8Bitdo controller for desktop, and Steam Deck. Both have 4 macro buttons that can summon stratagens in one press. More on Deck if you use trackpads. IF YOU HAVE Hall effect sticks, the game’s dead zone will override your system dead zone. Set the dead zone one tick above 0 to get the most out of them!
One important tip, the first ship upgrade for sentries also affects the resupply cooldown. Probably everybody should get this as early as possible, because you always need resupplies as often as possible, even if you don't use sentries at all. For the railgun, the unsafe mode does more damage. Although for bile titans and such it's actually more effective if shooting normally in safe mode, as it's much quicker. Unsafe mode is more of an ammo conservation thing, if you're really low on ammo and need to make the most out of it. On a related note, you can oneshot bile titans if they open their mouth for that acid-spew attack if you hit them with a railgun in unsafe mode into their mouth. Some armor passives can be pretty useful. One for the helmet which grants 2 more grenades. And the other from the scout armor, where you can ping around the map to spot enemies and points of interest - just spam-ping until you find some point of interest, then ping it. Another fun fact, for the S.E.A.F. artillery, the order in which you load the rounds is the order in which they are shot later. So try to remember where the nuke is in the order to make the most of it.
I’ve personally never ran into a situation that it made sense to switch the RG from unsafe to safe, whether it be for ammo conserving purposes or fire rate. I could be wrong though, open to being proved wrong.
With the charger, the best way to fight one, is to actually. Move towards it head-on (sprinting preferred), and dive diagonally behind it. The charger ends up continuing on its charge paths and you have some time to shoot it in the back.
Tip: on the scrambler modifier missions you can get - before throwing your stratagem, check the color before releasing. If you are trying to throw a backpack, it will be blue and not red. This could save you from throwing your gear into an enemy encampment or throwing a bomb on you and your team instead of a weapon.
oh also 9:21 north west (more west then north) on the minimap. two small circles like that mean its a seaf/side objective. you can pin it and instead of have a "pin" marker it will be a "target" marker, showing a square like marker
It may seem that way but the drop doesn't actually follow the beam it only drops on where it initially lands. Source: I have stuck chargers over 10 times and the orbital still only lands where it first hit even though they ran pretty far away
SES Hammer of Justice reporting. I think the number 1 tip for any new recruit is to focus on survival. This game is pretty damn easy to die and assuming someone called reinforcements as soon as you hit the deck, you'll still need at least a minute to get back to the fight, and I'm not even considering that you've got your support weapon and backpack back to do some real contribution. If you focus on survival, however, you might be out of ammo, running like crazy, trying to do something but at least you're drawing attention and splitting the threat, even if you just run around like a headless chicken just surviving, that charger you're pulling can actually be killed by your teammates as it is not charging them and it has it's soft plump butt fully exposed for a shit ton of lead. Make survival your number 1 mission, everything else you'll figure out eventually. SES Hammer of Justice out.
If you didn't know based off the jetpack strategem tip seems you didn't, You can run and use strategems by setting your command for strategems to press instead of hold then rebinding the keys for them to arrow keys instead of your movement keys. This allows you sprint and put in commands playing PC. Took me 1 game and a half to get used to, Goodluck out there
I learned a lot of the don’ts through experience and I’ll for sure never forget them but I’m glad someone out here warning others and teaching them how things work
Two tips from my 12 hours: 1. The SEAF Artillery launches the rounds in the order you load them. 2. Opening your map and moving your cursor around can reveal Minor Points of Interest. For some reason (on PC at least), even if you haven't discovered it, the game will put a label next to your cursor when you hover over a minor POI, which you can then drop a pin on and move to.
Noticed the back black in my last raid yesterday. I give mega props to the developers for adding that especially for the 1 little tick of damage it does to you. Little fun thing, for how much it throws a person back, I wonder if the back blast works o the bugs and will drive them back for a second after you send the rocket at the titan.
You in fact do Fail the mission if the timer runs out if you haven't completed it yet. If completed before the timer runs out, you do NOT lose the mission. But you MUST complete the main objective(s) before the timer runs out
In case anyone is struggling to get into the game I found a trick out with in my first few seconds of owning the game, join in on a friends game and you are instantly put into your own ship and can play
On controller we use the liberty grip to use stratagems while running. Using the right hand‘s thumb to push up the left stick, you enter the code on the d-pad with your left hand. As of now, if you bind the stratagem inputs to the X, circle, square, and triangle, you end up reloading, dodging or meleeing or swapping weapons while you enter the stratagem code. Hoping for a fix soon.
2:01 no because by default when the stratagem list is open you use the d-pad... Kinda an oversight that on Keyboard it's not defaulted to arrow keys... Though not anyone has those.
@@MoreMyelinGamesHaha, that’s fine too. I just meant the production method is great. Didn’t realize till watch a separate video of yours that you have a massive channel for destiny haha. I was like how the hell does he have less than 1000 subs, made sense after reading that.
1:38 is the biggest thing I recommend for anyone picking up the game on PC. My team is constantly talking about how quickly I call Stratagems in and how I call them in while moving. You feel like an amazing action hero punching in codes while dodging Chargers.
You can also throw stratagems quite a bit further with the jetpack. Just fly up and slightly into the direction of your target and then throw whilst accelerating up/towards it. Also, for the diamonds to turn into markers on your minimap, you have to loot literally everything there. All samples, medals, super credits, etc..., but also all ammo, stims and nades, which I wish it'd ignore, as you find way more supplies than you need when playing solo.
This video should be part of standard Helldiver training. Level 23 and had no idea half of these awesome features exist. The Reload menu is something I have to try right away, and I'll never sprint while fighting a charger ever again, until he's right on top of me. Cheers!
For the robot flares, the bot that launches them is specifically the dude with only one laser sword. So shoot them first to avoid a bunch of trouble. The impact grenades can basically one tap the weakpoint automatons (including the tanks) with a direct hit on the grills since they go off on contact. (they are tricky to use on the factories though, so you may want to make sure you have a good Eagle/Orbital for clearing those if you bring them) All enemies also have friendly fire. Including Bile Titans who are actually very good at wiping out hordes of their own kind if you get a feel for the rangle and are in light armor you can basically circle strafe them to have them dissolve all their spewers/chargers/etc. EMS or Smoke you can drop on yourself while running risk free (the EMS you just have to dive if the edge catches you) and neither damage you. Both will stop the pursuing enemies (EMS will just stun them and let you escape vision, smoke they will just search the smoke area til it clears provided you don't make noise.
You can melee the broken drop-pods to open them as well as shooting them You can kill the Unauthorized Broadcast side-objective from a long distance with the Auto-cannon by shooting the antenna, all you need is line of site! I don't know if you can do the same with other weapons, I assume anything explosive can knock it out. I haven't tried with the devastator primary yet.
1 resupply box will provide full magazine replenishment "armoury" weapons (but won't refil any magazines in the guns, reload before resupply), it will only provide half of the support weapon magazine capacity per-box, 2 grenades (important if you run the 6(4+2) grenade armour), stims i can't remember but i'm pretty sure that's 2 as well. "guard dogs" count as back-pack-support-weapons (independent and usable alongside of any carried ones like a grenade launcher) and actually have limited ammo, the laser one only "reloads" if it overheats, the liberator/AR one has 7 magazine reloads in the backpack separate from your weapon ammo so it'll need 2 resupply to replenish just like a carried support weapon. the backpack symbol will go red if it's out of ammo and the drone will park itself on you until resupply. Short term that means the laser drone can often last 35-40 minute missions without running dry (tho is could end up cutting you or a team mate in half way easier due to the coherent-laser uptime). In terms of damage the assault rifle one seems to hit harder and is near-hitscan so it does more in the way more limited time it's usable without resupply. Also ground-drop/found ammo will NOT replenish special weapons and that goes for the guard dogs as well.
You can use the pelican to secure xtract by finishing main quest, call the pelican, and when it says inbound leave the extraction zone and the pelican will hover shooting anything at the extraction zone while you do side objectives
The automaton that calls in bot drops is a “commissar,” you can pinpoint it as a small unit with a single pistol and single blade and a small launcher on its shoulder. If you are planning an ambush or starting an attack on a base, identify commissars and kill them first. They die fast, but in the hear of combat it can be hard to find them before the flare is in the air.
And I thought I knew a lot about the game but this Video took my by surprise, def. a lot of stuff I didn't know about, especially realoading mid air with the jump pack... thats just insane haha😂
A little nice thing that I found out recently is with the Recoilless rifle, You can one shot chargers and bile titans if you shoot them right into the head. It has to be a direct hit. I'd recommend aiming for the hit on a charger when its turning around to charge back at you. For titans? Good luck
An item to note well all stratagems will BOUNCE OFF WALLS AND ARMOUR (be it building, enemy or dropship armour). That may well mean that orbital strike or artillery you just threw can bounce right back into your feet if you are perpendicular or downhill to a wall or emplacement. If it's a spawn-killer call in that could also mean that the "explosive" element of the call-in could miss the intended target and force the use of another cooldown or grenades.
I’ve got a couple more tips to add! 1. Don’t sleep on the autocanon sentry, it fires a three round autocannon burst that does crazy damage and can even blow the armor right off of chargers. It also does a great job of clearing hordes of small things with the splash damage. However, it turns pretty slow and if it’s too close range it’ll get overrun very easily. 2. Creativity is absolutely your friend! Stratagems can be used in a lot of unconventional ways, from using orbital strikes to blow up walls to calling in a support weapon or supply on top of enemies or bot foundries. The railgun, while it will kill you, will also do a lot of damage when it explodes. I’ve used this strat to take out tanks when I was otherwise too low on ammo (climb on top, go to the weak point, and just hold the trigger for democracy!) I love finding new uses for stuff like that, it adds a lot to the fun. 3. Not every enemy has an obvious weak point. The chargers have the unarmored bit on their rear, but that isn’t actually a weak point. Their weak points are their front legs once you get the armor off. If you’re able to do that, they will go down way faster than you might think. Bile spewers’ weak point is their head btw, which seems weird considering their big green bodies, but it’s true! 4. Explosive weapons and ordinance do full weak point damage whereas regular weapons do not. Normal guns will still do more damage to weak spots than to other spots, but it’s only like a 40% increase if I remember correctly. Any explosive weapons (GL, rockets, railgun, or even explosive ammo weapons) will do %100 bonus damage to weak points. 5. This one is kind of useless but very funny: you can actually drop your hellpod into bug nests. This will instantly kill you, but it will destroy the nest and it’s pretty funny! 6. If you’re having trouble getting into the game (so almost everyone) you can sometimes get around this by joining directly into a friend’s lobby. I play on ps5 so I don’t know if these are options for PC, but if you scroll over the app and scroll down, you can also choose an option to hop directly into quick play, which has often worked for me! 7. Keep spreading democracy! If you don’t, I will find you.
4) is not 100% correct. Non explosive do 10% dmg to SQUISHY BITS of bugs (the butt of chargers and bile spewers) while explosive does 100% dmg to SQUISHY BITS. Squishy bits are NOT weakpoints. Weakpoint are always damage multipliers (not sure how much though). Which is why sometimes a single railgun or a single EAT rocket can one shot a bile titan when shot at during the puking animation.
Here are some extra tips: The breaker incendiary is especially effective at shooting bug eggs & unarmored bugs. It is a low level multi kill machine. Note the lower impact damage, slower travel speed, and wider spread. Shotguns in this game are REALISTIC. Pellets have a tight-ish formation, and they do a lot of damage from greater ranges when compared to other games. You can use them like DMRs in this game. Speaking of DMR’s… The diligence DMR is an excellent early game primary weapon, and will always be a justifiable pick. Same goes for the Grenade Launcher, early game, it’s going to sweep the leg under any large enemy formation. It can also destroy bug nests / fabricators. Beware of the Mortar Sentry. It is unbelievably powerful when in conjunction with alert teammates. If enemies are close to you, the Mortar sentry will take you out with them. For early game stratagems, I recommend the cluster bomb for enemy removal, and eagle airstrikes to take out heavily armored enemies, objectives, nests, and buildings. It just works. Lastly, the Orbital Laser, unlocked at level 20, is the most powerful stratagems (generally) in the game. Its long lasting, armor penetrating beam is capable of killing practically anything, including research stations, nests, devastators, bile titans, the list continues. But, your orbital laser stratagem is shared across the entire team, rather than individually. It’s that good.
Orbital laser is NOT shared. Each person carrying it has 3. You can call 12 down in a match. Stop spreading this false info. Everything else is good info.
One tip I've learned is if you're wearing a supply pack and you pull from the resupply drop, you'll resupply yourself AND refill the backpack. I recommend to resupply your team first and then grab the drop, as basically turns into 2 supplies.
Try taking from the resupply while wearing the supply pack, drop it and have your teammates repeat this process, you can stretch this out to 8 for one drop... if you have the time to waste.
For your penetration bug thing, there is actually a hidden stat. Penetration is on a scale of 1 to 10, and the various armours match this. 1-2 counts as light pen, 3-4 counts as medium pen, and 5+ counts as heavy pen. So the SMG probably has 1 while the revolver has 2 and the armour is also a 2, so the revolver penetrates where the SMG can’t
The revolver probably has a 3-4 as it is actually a Med Pen weapon that was just not listed properly until recently. I use it for that med pen specifically as my Breaker Incendiary can torch anything light real fast.
Yeah those radio towers.... Autocannons handle that too. Just thought I should mention that. A good answer for a lot of situations. I tend to be the squad's Auto Cannon myself. Something and others use to do back in our Chapter years other than a Heavy Bolter sometimes.
It happened to me twice in one day. Eradication mission, one of my friends loves his 380mm and I got blasted and flew out of the combat zone, somehow survived impact in basic armor and ran back. Survived the bombardment and extracted
2:52 There's a bug audio queue that happens about 2ish seconds before they raise up and spray. Hard to describe what it sounds like in words, try to listen for it! 3:33 Auto Canon 2 or 4 shots the Spore things that produce the "fog/gas". Super good b/c you can hit it from FAR AWAY. if you have LOS. (Once you hit lvl 20 prob won't be using this, instead the Railgun in unsafe mode) 3:56 If you've seen someone die and then they type "Hot" or "Cold" this indicates where they want to be positioned, COLD = out of the fight, HOT = PUT ME ON THE BIGGEST BUG! 6:25 Try to remember the order you put them in if you are with a Squad of people you know. Each Color Tip does something different. There's 4 total I think? or 3? EX: My squad I remember the order, the other person calls them in and asks me if they forget. 10:20 THIS IS SUPER HARD TO DO: Once it charges pass you, you can hit it with Auto Cannon in the Back front leg and knock off the armor then kill it with a normal gun. AGAIN YOU HAVE TO HIT IT PERFECTLY, IT WILL DEFLECT IF YOU DON'T.
An thing to say about the time, is that, there spawns more and more enemies as the time goes, and after the 22 mark it's almost infinite spawns and there are spawned more of the elite types of enemies
Not sure if posted - If you have samples and are running past the extraction area, drop them on the platform. The team can pick them up again when extracting, rather than having to track back to wherever you last died doing another part of the objectives, to pick them up. Good luck helldivers.
Slight correction on the Charger boss mob. The weak spot is not the tail/rear end but rather their front legs. Shoot the armor off either leg and you’ll see a lighter shade appear on the skin. That becomes an automatic weak spot and can kill a Charger in a few shots. Happy hunting
When dealing with chargers, I just charge them. At the last minute, run to their side instead of directly at them. You'll 100% run past them and can 180 turn and shoot. Rinse and repeat. Basically works the exact same as dealing with bears on Icarus.
EATs and the Recoilless Rifle also stop Bile Titans from spewing when timed right and hitting the head. If you're lucky, one EAT drop can kill a Bile Titan if you hit it in the head twice, and same goes for the Recoilless, two shots to the face and it drops dead. (Mileage will vary) Another one too, Chargers can be one-shot by EATs, the Recoilless Rifle, and other shoulder-fired support weapons by hitting their head. It explodes their head and kills them instantly. Chargers have become a non-issue for my friends and I once I employed this strategy, the Recoilless Rifle is now my go-to support weapon for both bugs and bots.
Against swarming bugs, Blast armor is my most favorite! If I get surrounded, I drop grenade under my feet and run in direction I want to fly away. It takes 10% of yoir health and it catapults you out of the mess + it kills all small bugs It will save you from 4 grande explosions so you can catapult yourself 4 times in row🌟🌟🌟🌟🤸♂️
11:04 This happened to me similarly. I used a recoiless rifle. (The tube fed rocket launcher. Not the disposable one.) And when it was getting ready to spit, I one shot it, and its head exploded.
9:48 the chargers butt isn’t technically a weak spot it doesn’t have armor but you do massively reduced damage to it but as was stated if it pops they bleed out. Good luck fellow helldivers FOR DEMOCRACY!!!!
Learned a bunch of things! However, if I may, the timer is not really just a suggestion, the shuttle gets called automatically and then you have 2 minutes to finish. Armour affects Stamina consumption and running speed even though the armour rating is bugged.

Try sticking the beacon at the head. It might kill it properly that way instead of just breaking its armour.
Yeah and they will 1 shot a charger if you hit them in the head
When the charger runs at you, go around bug holes, the charger will destroy them for you.
Correction: Charger butt is not a weakspot it is just not armoured. Its weakspot is under the front leg armour. If you manage to get rid of the armor you do weakspot damage there.
If you have a railgun blast 2 shots into either side to reveal orange flesh then finish it off with any other gun
He stated that later on in the video..
@@Kybx He did not correct that the butt is not a weakspot.
it is and it isn;t
It does NOT do bonus damange, but if you pop the butt, they will bleed out and die after about 5 ish seconds
Another fun fact. You can still WIN the mission after 0 hour (but before the evac leaves) if you complete the objective. Pulled a really epic winning sacrifice lettinv my buddies evac while i heroically finished firing off the ICBM.
Super Earth thanks you for your sacrifice, Helldiver
Down on D-pad gives yourself supplies with the supply pack on controller.
Thank you!!!
Thats so good to know
@@eathealthymeditateeveryday4949 I think the very first time I used supply pack a tip popped up and told me what to do.

I was skeptical about moving my hand from the mouse but it's actually helpful
what? you stopped using WASD for strategems? is that so big difference?
Also if you activate the radar station, the super samples appear as a POI.

Mh
I'll be joining the fight for super earth sometime next month. Can't wait! Thanks myelin.
It's such an awesome experience. I'm excited for you 😊
Smart, the servers may even have room for you then.😅
you are needed Sir ! :D
U gon love it if u wanna play wit sum1 im down
its so worth it. Absolute blast to play. Literally the only single bad thing about it so far is that there are literally too many people playing lol
I like this games community, I’m lvl 10 and have had really good matches with random players. It’s nice for a change 😊
Yeah, everyone is pretty friendly on PvE servers
For Bots, shoot at the berserkers (twin chainsaw hands) glowing red midsection, closer to the crotch. This is a weakspot and will kill them faster then if you just spray into them. Same for all forms of devastator, you can shoot off arm weapons by aiming for joints, but headshots with something like the anti-material rifle instantly kill them. You can even do this against hulks if you get a lucky shot at the visor.
Doesn’t matter if you die at the end of a mission or in a mission, your character is a clone with hundreds of copies 😊
That’s why you always come out of the cryo freezer.
Excellent video for an excellent game
Amazing video. Assigning stratagems to arrow keys, unlocking the recoilless, the rail gun and the shield backpack are my main takeaways. Thanks so much!
Can confirm that you can finish the mission once marked as a traitor but it is very hard unless you already have the dropship there to pick you up.
There's so many hidden details in this game that I just love exploring so far.
It does increased damage to them
Im gonna be honest, I just clicked because I love the Eradicator armour. Always great to see some more helldivers 2!
Arc Thrower kills most enemies in one or two shots, I cannot wait for the new electric weapons on the 14th.
yep exactly. EAT lets goo
What helmet gives a passive effect?
With the charger, the best way to fight one, is to actually. Move towards it head-on (sprinting preferred), and dive diagonally behind it. The charger ends up continuing on its charge paths and you have some time to shoot it in the back.
Tip: on the scrambler modifier missions you can get - before throwing your stratagem, check the color before releasing. If you are trying to throw a backpack, it will be blue and not red. This could save you from throwing your gear into an enemy encampment or throwing a bomb on you and your team instead of a weapon.
did you know that if you throw an orbital at your teammate they can then run over to the enemy and kill them with the strike. its super effective!
oh also 9:21 north west (more west then north) on the minimap. two small circles like that mean its a seaf/side objective. you can pin it and instead of have a "pin" marker it will be a "target" marker, showing a square like marker
Why not just throw it at the enemy?

I’m so glad I am not the only one who does the halo CTF flag capture/ drop technique on the SEAF artillery.
You can dive into a bug hole to plug it, for Democracy!

Agreed. A lot of crap videos or clip stealing channels. This seemed like a legit effort and quality video.
Best video I’ve seen with helldivers 2 tips man, and props for how much time and effort you clearly dedicated to having relevant clips!!
If you didn't know based off the jetpack strategem tip seems you didn't, You can run and use strategems by setting your command for strategems to press instead of hold then rebinding the keys for them to arrow keys instead of your movement keys. This allows you sprint and put in commands playing PC. Took me 1 game and a half to get used to, Goodluck out there
I learned a lot of the don’ts through experience and I’ll for sure never forget them but I’m glad someone out here warning others and teaching them how things work
I try so hard not to engage patrols but there's always that one player that just has to shoot everything

First youtuber I've ever heard say drop me a DISlike lmao. Automatic like from me 🤣
Two tips from my 12 hours:
Autocannon is probably the best gun/tool in the game. So versatile and tons of ammo to last until your next stratagem recharge.
But you MUST complete the main objective(s) before the timer runs out
Hmm interesting. I must have always completed the main first
In case anyone is struggling to get into the game I found a trick out with in my first few seconds of owning the game, join in on a friends game and you are instantly put into your own ship and can play
Now joining is much better And faster because devs added kick after beeing afk for 15 min
This is the best tips video out there for this Game. Wow, great content! Thanks for posting it.
Best guide I’ve watched the last few days. Just started Monday haha
I'm just admiring Sting behind you. Very nice 😁
Great content brother, very professional! Subscribed. Can’t wait to see more of your work, it’s refreshing.
Thanks! Just be aware... there will be plenty of unprofessional content here as well. Haha
Dude so happy your are playing this game!! I am one of your Destiney 2 fans but I have now enlisted as a HELLDIVER!!!! For FREEEDOOOMMMM!!!!!
This video should be part of standard Helldiver training. Level 23 and had no idea half of these awesome features exist. The Reload menu is something I have to try right away, and I'll never sprint while fighting a charger ever again, until he's right on top of me. Cheers!
I didn’t know about pushing 5 to resupply yourself. Thanks for that.
😊 This is the BEST List of Tips &
🙏 Tricks I have watched by FAR! Thank You for this and the all the work that went into making it
For the robot flares, the bot that launches them is specifically the dude with only one laser sword. So shoot them first to avoid a bunch of trouble.
The impact grenades can basically one tap the weakpoint automatons (including the tanks) with a direct hit on the grills since they go off on contact. (they are tricky to use on the factories though, so you may want to make sure you have a good Eagle/Orbital for clearing those if you bring them)
All enemies also have friendly fire.
You can melee the broken drop-pods to open them as well as shooting them
You can kill the Unauthorized Broadcast side-objective from a long distance with the Auto-cannon by shooting the antenna, all you need is line of site! I don't know if you can do the same with other weapons, I assume anything explosive can knock it out. I haven't tried with the devastator primary yet.
This Info will provide me with the proper skills to blast those darn clankers 🤖
Hey man!!! I quit destiny a while back so I haven’t seen much of your content… happy to be back!
11:09 💥🦟 That was a sick shot (both the camera and the weapon)
The slide option is great for heavy machine guns. Crouching helps with the recoil while shooting those heavies
They actually did fix the armor rating bug, so with a lower armor rating you take more damage, and with a higher one you take less.
Duuuuude a ton of these were helpful as hell. Thanks! Gonna have to check your channel for more guides hopefully. 🤞
For #6, if non of my friends are online, I'll comb the steam forums to find a person playing and join them, then leave back to my ship lol
Which is why sometimes a single railgun or a single EAT rocket can one shot a bile titan when shot at during the puking animation.
stratagems on controller are not an issue for me, i just keep my left hand on the stick to run and use my right hand on the d pad
Here are some extra tips:
The breaker incendiary is especially effective at shooting bug eggs & unarmored bugs.
Speaking of DMR’s…
The diligence DMR is an excellent early game primary weapon, and will always be a justifiable pick.
Sweep the leg Johnny
Unlocked at 15 but yes it’s amazing
Orbital laser is NOT shared. Each person carrying it has 3. You can call 12 down in a match.
Stop spreading this false info.
Everything else is good info.
@@shawnaw2relax lmao. CONSIDER the fact they may have just made a mistake.
For anyone that read OP’s comment DO NOT use the DMR, stick with the AR then buy the Defender SMG.
For the stratagem, it is worth binding them to arrow keys, that way you can move while calling stuff in
One tip I've learned is if you're wearing a supply pack and you pull from the resupply drop, you'll resupply yourself AND refill the backpack. I recommend to resupply your team first and then grab the drop, as basically turns into 2 supplies.
Try taking from the resupply while wearing the supply pack, drop it and have your teammates repeat this process, you can stretch this out to 8 for one drop... if you have the time to waste.
My pinky finger thanks you for showing me that one can switch the Sprint button to "Press" 👍
JT here, Blasting this out to my pals! HUGE W for this comprehensive guide!
Rocket turrets also have back blast. Finding that out was fun.
The armor ratings have been fixed for like a week or two. Great video, by the way!
"Helldivers" Hi thanks for the video, very informative for a new player. I learnt alot.
An thing to say about the time, is that, there spawns more and more enemies as the time goes, and after the 22 mark it's almost infinite spawns and there are spawned more of the elite types of enemies
for buddy reloads with support weapons, if you both have the ammo backpack for the gun you get x2 ammunition. Very useful for prolonged contacts.
Something to note with the map: In addition to being able to right click and move, you can also use your middle mouse button to scroll out on the map.
EATs and the Recoilless Rifle also stop Bile Titans from spewing when timed right and hitting the head. If you're lucky, one EAT drop can kill a Bile Titan if you hit it in the head twice, and same goes for the Recoilless, two shots to the face and it drops dead. (Mileage will vary)
Another one too, Chargers can be one-shot by EATs, the Recoilless Rifle, and other shoulder-fired support weapons by hitting their head.
It takes 10% of yoir health and it catapults you out of the mess + it kills all small bugs
It will save you from 4 grande explosions so you can catapult yourself 4 times in row🌟🌟🌟🌟🤸♂️

This happened to me similarly.
