I love the AC.Though I have changed to using it primarily on bug missions. For bots I use both the Commando and AT rocket. Particularly for the cool down time..

I’ve been using the commando to speedrun solo hell dive missions, but the autocannon has to be the best support weapon for bots. It’s so good against annoying gunships.

Personally I think the knight needs a buff. The dps is kinda nice, but sacrificing ammo efficiency and damage for a slightly higher dps compared to other guns isn’t worth it.

I think when the drops get stuck on you it's related to the shield pack, drop it next time by clicking x then the pack

I may have to give the Tenderizer a try. What "zoom" levels does its scope have? It's such a shame that, with all the long-range weapons they've given us, they haven't given us a dedicated optic for glassing targets.

The Commando feels like a direct upgrade to the EAT. I had to play it a couple of times before I started to understand how good it was. With Ship Modules, it's cooldown time is very quick, it does similar damage to eat, but you can take it with you without taking up a backpack slot or leaving half the firepower on the ground like an EAT.

Commando feels like an upgrade from E.A.T...Also one can kill the fabric strider with 2-3 commando's shots into its "eye".

Once I get better at tracking gunships with the Commando, these solo helldives will get much easier Also don’t make fun of me for that death at the end. I recently increased my fov and completely misjudged how close I was to Pelican 1.

I think the reason the bot patrols walked into the base at the end there was because you were slipping off the corner of the wall. The enemies in this game can hear things you do at different distances, and they can hear you hitting the ground after falling from silly far away. Pretty sure sliding off that skirting board around 13:20 is when they heard you, the moment you changed elevation. The sound detection is pretty buggy, but if you want to avoid their attention a better bet is just to crouch or prone and hold still.

This mission was pure chaos, watch the end of the video for a crazy extraction. Also I filmed this video right before people were telling me how to survive stratagems getting stuck on the shield pack.

Finally some knight gameplay! IMO it’s best in burst mode, and really shines on bots with ballistic shield. Sadly just not enough ammo without supply backpack for bugs.

Love the Knight, it absolutely rips - but ammo is tough.

What do you do for gunships? Every time I bring railgun solo, I’m able to mop up all the ground-based bots but I get wrecked by gunships. I even experimented with bringing a commando alongside it but when there’s a gunship factory objective, the rate at which they’re spawning outpaces the commando resupply.
