Hey Everyone! I wanted to try something a little different with what we do here on the channel which are build loadouts. As a reminder, this is by no means the only 4 playstyles and there are an infinite amount. The beauty of this game is we get to play the way we want. So be sure to let us know how you like to play! An great example, I've received since releasing this was a support style that runs more sentries! I enjoy engaging with this community, as always thanks for checking out the video!

Automaton diver here. My one and only stratagem loadout for the bots are: Eagle Airstrike, for the fabricators, 380mm Barrage, for the Detector Towers, Command Bunkers, Heavy Bot Outposts, Recoilless Rifle, for anti tank and tower purposes, and lastly, Autocannon Sentry, for backup and lure fire. I run this with Scout Light Armor, Eruptor (to deal with Fab Vents or Broadcast tower if you have the angle), Senator or Vindicator for CQC, and stun grenade. I call this the Demolisher, for dealing with objectives. You go alone and stealth, airstrikes on outposts, then get out of the area for another objective.

Hey, fellow automaton divers here. What tips do you have for the 380mm barrage? I personally find the orbital laser to be a bit more reliable in clearing heavy outposts if you throw it correctly. Would love to learn more.

@@hisyamsulaiman5522 my main concern for the Orbital Laser is the limit. But it does clear up enemies pretty nicely. The Barrage however, only takes 2 direct hits to a Factory Strider, while the Laser takes a long while to melt through. The 380mm has a 40m blast radius so try to not get to near it. You can use the 120mm but it has lower damage than the 320mm and only has 30m blast radius.

I'm a Jack of All Trades player but I do have a penchant for Anti-Tank but the only unusual loadout I will frequently run is, on bugs, if my team has plenty of AT, I like to run the MG-43, the Guard Dog (the bullet one), 500kg and Auto-Cannon Sentry, I think it's MUCH better horde clear than the flamer. 500 because I hate Titian kitin', but I'll hold onto them unless my AT teammates are indisposed. The Autocannon sentry is for when we start to buckle or a big horde, just throw it somewhere up and out the way and it'll happily chew through the 6 chargers chasing my AT teammates about.
Edit: Doesn't work if you have an ahole who runs off alone and calls in the supply drop just for himself, you need that 1 supply brick but it will generally see you to the next supply drop since it gives you 2 boxes of MG ammo (300 bullets) and refills all mags of the guard dog.

    • @ozylocz4078
      @ozylocz4078 4 месяца назад +1

If you really wanna be a “jack of all trades” use the autocannon, bring along the 500kg for bugs and you’re good against literally everything. The only real downside is it very much scales with player skill but that’s also the best thing about it. You don’t have to worry about AH nerfing it because the average player sucks with it and doesn’t use it, or they simply rely too much on shield/rovers and by their data and terrible balance team it’s not “popular” enough to nerf.
Edit: all that is assuming you only play diff9, the rifle guard dog in your build makes me think you don’t. Which is fine, if nothing else I suggest at least giving the autocannon a try.

I've used the Autocannon extensivaly and I much prefer the MG-43 + Guard Dog vs Bugs by a LARGE margin. Autocannon is godly vs Bots because of the prevalence of Devistators and all the heavier enemies have medium weakspots. I find it funny it's considered a skill weapon it's no more difficult to use than anything else.
I play mostly 8s becase I play with a friend who isn't as "aware" as me but if I play alone I'll do 9s, there really isn't much between them.

@@sirgaz8699 “personal preference” seems to have a HUGE influence on your build, I don’t mean anything necessarily negative by that but the regular guard dog is absolutely terrible in comparison to the rover if you must use a guard backpack.
I genuinely believe that when weighing all your options the guard dog is the worst stratagem in the game. There’s not even a niche situation where it’s better than ANYTHING else.
I’d also prefer more anti tank in that build given the fact that the only things that really matter vs bugs is how fast you can deal with chargers/titans.
I also said it SCALES with player skill very well, which it very much does. There’s hardly any skill to using things like the arc thrower, quasar and plenty of other weapons. The autocannon rewards your good positioning and aim, it punishes you for not counting your shots. You can also two shot chargers and hulks, but it’s very easy to miss so it incentivizes good aim. You must have not used it much if you can’t see this, I’d suggest getting some more practice with it.

    • @sirgaz8699
      @sirgaz8699 4 месяца назад

@@ozylocz4078 The last patch nerfed the rovers damage 30% and buffed the guard dog 30%, the guard dog can glance at a pack of hunters and evaporate them in a few seconds. The limited ammo is only a problem if you're not getting a supply bricks which you want for the MG-43 anyway, they both run out at the same time.
Yes, I have played with the Auto-cannon extensively, I know it 2 shots Hulks and Chargers (though I rarely use it against bugs) and do it frequently, I know positioning plays a key, I'm good at it and my aim is good. I also preferred my suggestion with "if my team has plenty of AT, I like to run the MG-43," we don't need more anti heavy, we need anti-horde and the MG is better than the flamer, it's a team loadout. On the flip side have you touched the MG since level 3?

  • @BlargFlargRlarg23

Level 64 Automaton diver here. I prefer fighting bots but they are very different to handle than the bugs. My current stratagem loadout is: Ballistic shield, Sniper Rifle, Eagle 500 kg bomb, and EMS mortar sentry. For my starting gear, I'm rocking the Pummeler, Senator, Stun grenades, and a Democracy Protects armor set.
I used to be all about the energy shield but the ballistic has grown on me. It really shines when you can hold it up and stare down bots. The shield will protect you against most small laser fire, from troopers to Heavy Devastators. (note, it will protect but ragdoll you with rockets does not block melee attacked) With the ballistic shield, you can wield a one-handed weapon, hence the Senator for picking off troopers and getting important headshots on devastators. Pummeler is a new favorite for this loadout as it stun locks enemies which gives you breathing room when berserkers are charging you or devastators won't let up their attacks.
Sniper Rifle I love for taking out heavy units from way too far away. You can snipe the eye of a Hulk for a 2 shot kill. Devastators can be knocked around with it if you can't land their headshot. Hitting tanks and turrets on their heat sinks from so far away they don't even engage is great, though they take more than one magazine. It can down gunships if you hit the same engine, though bullet travel needs to be considered. A neat synergy with the ballistic shield, is that while you have a two handed weapon you, the shield is on your back but still protects from shots. Great for when retreating from enemies.
Stun grenade is another must as it again allows for some breathing room when you're getting swarmed by little units or bigger ones. It'll stun a hulk and give you an moment to line up those eye shots with your sniper rifle. It does not affect tanks and it does mean you can't blow up frabricators. Your sniper rifle can open up shipping crates though.
EMS sentry I usually bring on any type of mission because it can lean much needed support against swarms of any kind (bug or bot). You don't realize how much grief it can save you until you realize a whole patrol has been stun locked since they got dropped off. The sentry has a range of 125 m and since it fires straight up, can be positioned safely behind cover or in craters/pits. It also doesn't harm your fellow helldivers, who will be slowed (in contrast, enemies are totally stunned) and not damaged. It's also great for throwing in the opposite direction you're running as it will draw enemies to it while you run elsewhere. It can also alert you to enemies creeping up on you, but it will also pick fights with anything in the 125 m range.
Eagle 500 kg bomb is just plain useful in most any situation, as the video mentions. It's great when you can get two runs with the ship upgrade. Useful for anything big and heavy you need to take out. You can also always swap this out for your orbital/eagle/barrage of choice depending on mission.
Oh, and Democracy Protects as an armor perk is my favorite because with that 50% chance of surviving lethal damage, you can get a second chance at life (to stim yourself) from most any wildly damaging attack up to and including setting off a hellbomb in your own face. (though don't bank on it, it's still only a 50/50 chance)
This loadout allows me to support my team, handle patrols, go after objectives, and delete heavy units on my own. It works best with a team that has different loadouts that cover other areas (such as crowd control or anti-air ship stuff). I also have used it solo to success, though that's more cause my connection sucks than choice.

When I actually manage to get my elite guild to make a specialized load out for a mission we have minimal deaths and extreme efficiency not to mention fun. When everyone just does whatever willingly we end up scattered and unprepared either for gunships or at ats or tanks or hulks or devastators etc. if ur specialty is small mobs in big groups then it helps to have a heavy specialist with eats and spears and orbital rails and 110mm etc

I was garbage at bots when I first made the switch for quite a while prolly took a good half a month or so before I finally figured it out and got used to it. It requires complete rewiring of how you play basicly changing the mind set from horde shooter to tactical gameplay. Stealth isn't required but it definitely helps. These days we rarely stealth. If we do it is aggressive stealth. We don't often avoid much we just ambush and take out whatever is ahead of us with tactical combined strikes before they can call in reinforcments. That don't mean we don't get stubbornly stuck in continuously hopeless battles where there is more.and more enemies then we can kill from time to time lol

Nothing can touch you in the bubble while you can shred everything with the HMG emplacement. Watching Devastators chicken walkers fall to pieces is so satisfying. Even Hulks can get their eyes shot out. Factory Strider? You can remove the chin guns and do damage to the face. You're impervious to all damage for 30sec while the shield bubble is up, then clear out. Even the big gun on top of the Strider can't pierce it. Gunships? No problem. I lean more towards jack-of-all trades. Blitzer and Eagle Napalm to CC; Quasar, Thermite Grenades, and Orbital Rail for heavies; Grenade Pistol for holes; and 500kg for a little bit of everything.
Due to running arc weapons for so long, I've developed a shoot and scoot playstyle where I'm always kiting to keep corpses and debris from eating my shots. It always felt awkward to for me to use the EAT like this as I kept losing where I called it down, and the reloading of the Recoilless Rifle kept getting me killed.
Drop napalm, clear extras with Blitzers, and deal with heavies when there's no swarm to slow me down. Honestly, with the Blitzer + napalm combo, I can deal with everything except chargers and titans. Though hive guards give me some trouble, I can usually keep even a group of 6 or so of them stun locked and either deal with them using heavy killing equipment, or just blitzing them until the heat death of the universe.

Bots: orbital precision strike, 500KGs, energy shield and rail gun. Then I run grenade pistol, stuns or impacts depending on the mission, and Jar5. If the planet has gunships I’ll swap the rail for the quasar.

Interesting video and i can recognize myself in several of these archetypes. I can change depending of the mood but usually against bugs, i'm a boss killer with Recoilless Rifle. I really like the RR, and the trick to shorten the reload time make it feel so much better to use (switch weapon when the shell icon is full to cancel the animation. The reload is still completed).
Since you asked loadouts against Automatons, i've named my go-to loadout "Demolisher" mainly focused on destroying enemy bases and defenses. It is teamplay oriented, but you are performing best when you wander around your team, letting them take the aggro while you are taking down factories, cannon turrets and various highly dangerous targets to ease their struggles.
My main stratagem is the Spear, as well as Eagle Airstrike, Orbital Railcannon Strike and Orbital Laser (i keep it for big bases, but i usually drop this one if i have the -1 stratagem modifier). The Spear is really good against bots since there is so many eligible targets for its lock-on system. You can destroy factories from a safe distance and it can sometime destroy adjacent structures as Jammer or Detection Towers without having to go inside. The Spear has its flaws (the finicky lock-on system as well as being really ammo hungry), so the other stratagems are here to help with the task. Eagle Airstrike can take down multiple factories (if close enough), cannon turrets, as well as already weakened Striders if you can land most of the shells on them. And the Orbital Laser can lay waste the biggest bases (almost) by itself.
This loadout can also deal with high priority targets as Hulks (one or two hits with the Spear if it's in the eye or the back, or simply with the ORS) as well as Striders pretty easily (the Spear can destroy the top turret and your long range primary can deal with the gatlings, making it harmless). The Spear can lock on Aerial Gunships, but it's not worth it to waste ammo when they are so many. Same thing with your primary: you can take down one or two that annoys you if you have medium armor penetration, but the best course of action is to let your teammates take the aggro while you are rushing toward the factory to call the hellbomb (since you already are satelliting around the group).
Primary/Secondary/Grenade are flexible, so anything able to support the team from mid/long range is good for dealing with hordes of regular enemies (for example Eruptor, Dominator or Scorcher, with Redeemer and Stun grenades). And for armor, i really like the Servo-Assisted ones since it help to launch your stratagems directly in the enemy bases (throwing while diving increase the range even further!). Alternatively, the Scout passive is very good if you like going solo or if you want to avoid patrols.

Thank you for breaking down your loadout especially the Automaton section. I'm wanting to learn new ways and loadout stratagies. Thank you for the comment!

Lvl 100 here. I can share a few of the builds I have used. I must put a warning on them though as I do not tend to play meta builds and they may feel weak or bizarre to people who don't know what they are doing. I have a recon support sniper for those who want to stay far from the fighting but still want some action. For gear you want Diligence CS, any scout armor, grenade pistol and smoke grenades. Stratagems are orbital smoke, eagle 110 rocket pods, jump pack and AMR. The goal is to support your team with stealth and high mobility ambush and sniper attacks while suppressing foes with smoke to pull allies out of harm. Also watch your radar like a hawk because the faster you can react to a problem the easier its going to be to deal with. Smokes effects are easier to see on the bots than on bugs so if smoke feels weak you can swap it out for ems and stun grenades.
I also have an engineer build I did against the bugs that I can share. gear is Plasma punisher, grenade pistol, stun grenades, and any armor with extra grenades. Stratagems are Eagle air strike, guard dog, mg sentry and auto cannon sentry. This one is a weird one, but it works so long as your sentry placement is on point. Works great on teams that like to stick together. The build relies on the two turrets to do the heavy lifting and your job is to support the turrets and team mates with stuns and staggers.
Im sure im gonna get a lot of eye rolling because of the lack of meta options, but I have stress tested these for weeks on high end 7+ missions. they do work.

Skirmisher build. 500kg, eagle air strike, emancipator, shield generator pack or spear. Breaker Incendiary for bugs, purifier for bots, grenade pistol, and stun grenades. Trailblazer armor. The build relies on early detection and high mobility to skirt the edges of combat and establish crossfire and quickly clearing targets and disengaging. Drop the emancipator when needing to hold an objective or provide a burst of heavy firepower for pushing hard targets. Bring the shield if you will need to branch off to solo scout or clear objectives so you can keep moving under fire and disengage more reliably or if you know you will need to tank a lot of fire in the emancipator. Bring the spear if you'll be more on the edge of combat to provide more pinpoint fire support or need to take out more objectives without getting bogged down on approach. Works well in any mission type where hit and run is viable and the map isn't disabled. Will struggle on defense and losing the map means you'll get flanked a lot while circling engagements. Have fun!

    I run quite a few 2.
My fav hybrid / assault loudout is: stalwart, eagle cluster bomb, precision strike, 500kg.
for my croud control i usually use: airburst rocket launcher, and some more stuff for the rest of the team such as 500kg, precision strike, shield generator backpack, or tesla tower.
for support i tend to run: anti material rifle (for all guard, elite warrior, artilery bugs), jump pack and eagle strafing run + whatever the team seems to need.
and for lone survivor, more often then not i run for autocannon :D
Mainly automaton diver but if i head to deal with terminids i usually don't use (above) "hybrid" build.

Orbital railgun - hulk and tanks
Concussive SMG & stun grenade - stagger enemies for air strike

  • @williammiller8743
    @williammiller8743 4 месяца назад

Automation diver my go to loadout is:
    Auto cannon
    Eagle airstrike
    Orbital laser
And depending on what my teammates have either the rail cannon or explosive mortar. I take the rail cannon if my teammates are using more crowd control, the mortar if they are more boss killers.
With this loadout the auto cannon is your true primary as it allows you to deal with anything the bots can throw at you. The eagle airstrike to deal with groups and fabricators that you can’t get a good angle on. The orbital laser serves as an “oh shit” button for when you are being swarmed. Then depending on teammates the rail cannon will allow you to immediately remove a boss (except for the factory strider) . The mortars as a long term fuck anything in this general area stratagem.
A few other notes, the auto cannon is valuable less cause of its damage and more so its ability to stun most bots allowing you to stun lock devastators and striders until dead. For tanks and turrets you have to get a good angle on them otherwise use airstrikes, rail cannon, mortar ( if set up already). You can kill hulks if you go for the eyes but I find that it is better to either go for the legs or arms of a hulk and set up a teammate for success or allow you to just ignore it. For factory striders shoot and destroy the mini-gun turrets and you just made it easier to handle.
when using the mortars always keep in mind where you are in relation to the enemy, if they are getting close to you and your mortar is set up, you should just run away. Also try and place your mortar somewhere that has cover it’ll keep it up for longer.
In terms of guns go for whatever you want the auto-cannon is your real primary, I tend to use the Diligence + grenade pistol + impact grenades. The grenade pistol and impacts will give you more weapons which can harm devastators quickly and easily.

    • @FrostyHots
      @FrostyHots  4 месяца назад

I need to be better when killing the Hulks and Factory Striders. The eye was a pit of a skill issue for me, so I went for the legs. But that also can take some time to disable them. How many shots do you reckon with the AC on the Factory Strider's turret to knock it out?

My loadout (for bugs) is probably a mix of hybrid and lone survivor. I go after main/side objectives alone while my team focuses on other main/side/nest objectives. I do not touch bug nests unless it’s really convenient. I use AMR (yes it’s great for bugs), jump pack, punisher shotgun (mostly), verdict, 500kg, EAT, impact incendiary, and light stim armor. Probably the best survivability build and I can go most games dying either once or none. Most of the 1 times I die are from teamkill damage when we meet for extract.

  • @xgzyzyx
    @xgzyzyx 3 месяца назад

My personal favourite loadout for bugs rn is the 500kg bomb, orbital gas strike, recoilles rifle and a turret it most often being either an autocannon turret or a gatling turret with the promary being breaker incendiary, granade launcher pistol for secondary and impact for granades (although I'll probably take impact incendiary when I unlock it). This build is more of a jack of all trades with the power to kill chargers and bile titans through 500kg bombs, autocannon sentry or recoilles's shots while also being able to deal with bug breaches through gas strike, fire from breaker incendiary and the turret.
Also the reason why I tak gas strike over napalm strike is because having 2 eagles equipped at once becomes really annoying with mamaging the cooldowns on both and a second reason why I take gas strike is because of it's short cooldwon. With napalm airstrike I tend to have moments where I would love to use it but I can't cuz I used the the last one recently and have to wait for cooldown, where for gas strike the cooldown is small enough where I never found myself in thet situations yet

  • @Alpha_Synergy

I tend to focus on heavies and medium armored enemies that could cause trouble for my allies, and have a primary to keep the mobs off me. I always run the hybrid medium-heavy armorset with the fortified passive, impact grenades for quick bursts of damage, and the senator since it can deal damage to nearly anything I shoot at.
For bots, I tend to run a shield and SMG combo, allowing me to tank incoming fire without instantly dying; the AMR or the EAT to deal with medium and heavy armored targets; the cluster bomb since it excells at dealing with crowds of light to medium armored enemies; and the 500 kg, to deal with buildings, tanks, and factory striders.
For bugs, I tend to stick with the incendiary shotgun, since I can deal with the crowds easily with one to two shots, but still have enough immediate damage to take out heavier targets (plus being able to damage anything I can hit); the AMR and EAT, for the same reasons as above; the cluster strike, 500 kg, or the railcannon, depending on if bile titans are likely to appear; and either the supply pack or jetpack, depending on if I think I'll be able to get up to any shenanigans with climbing to places I shouldn't be and raining down fire with my AMR.

My current favourite loadout for the bugs has got to be: Stalwart, supply pack, airstrike and 500kg. Pretty generic loadout but i often end up with most kills at the end of the round. If youve killed all the nearby chaff enemies the stalwart is really good at pulling aggro from titans, then you can destroy the bile sack, drop the 500 close to you and force the titan into an attack.
Also having the stalwart on full RPM allows you to destroy charger leg armour from behind ( i think its a glitch). Shooting behind the legs seems to just strip the legs from the armour even tho visually its still intact.
Running those stratagems with a Democracy Protects medium or Fortified heavy armour allows you to be closer to the 500 when it drops if you need. Combined with usually incend breaker, Grenade pistol and flashbangs allows chaff freeze and destruction

I lone wolf most of the time. I handle the opposite side of the map from the team to speed things along and I’m confident in myself so I run the legionnaire armor for the extra speed and stamina and throw distance. Can throw stratagems outside of agro range. The punisher for the single shell reload and stagger. Grenade pistol, incendiary grenade. EATs and quasar so I have a big boom on hand and can call in for bile titans. 2 quasar shots and both rockets in 15 seconds is usually enough to drop one. Also can utilize the drop itself to take out bug holes and chargers if you can get it to stick. Eagle clusters because you get so many of them. And the laser guard dog to handle the small targets. The only thing that this build struggles with is the green bile spewers but I guess you can take the dominator to help that but the reload time is a problem for me.

Great video. My build you can say is hybrids.
    Armour med: engineering skill
    Breaker
    Grenade pistol
    Thermite Grenade
Thats my main for both bots and bugs. My stratagems setup for bots or bugs are similar but different.
    Bots:
Heavy Machine Gun(480 speed) or machine gun (base speed)
    Supply backpack
    O.Rail cannon strike
    O. Laser (or eagle airstrike depending on missions)
    Bugs:
Stalwart ( 700 or top speed depending on engagement)
    Supply backpack
    O. Rail cannon
    Eagle air strike
People sleep on thermite Grenades. I be using it to take down chargers, those giant tanks bots drop, cannon towers and helps with hulks. This saves up my stratagems like my eagles and lasers for when its needed to support my allies who all have same things. The supply backpack keeps you fully ammo and gives you basicly a crap tons of Grenades and witg gear setup you aim better and got my thermites you can throw. Heavy machine eats devastators like paper just tap to shoot. This build is enjoyable becauae no matter what i face i should be able to take it down.
UPDATE: So I had this itch. I always enjoy heavy armour. I was told was bad and still try this on bugs long ago as and hated it BUT I thought like night before this update why not try vs bots.(tested on level 7 suicide so keep that in mind) I didn't have heavy with engineering skill so couldn't test but I did have heavy with med skill. After like maybe 6 hours of running around in heavy with med skill i have to say it was fun. My build only suffered from less then 2 Grenades but I felt so unkillable at times. Hulks were a bit easier because I can run up and as soon as I feel fire I stim and this to heavy more then enough time then with the med skill on I switch to thermite Grenades and throw 3 or 4 to face or leg. Then I run and maybe stir again. When I turn around flame hulk is on ground burning. The heavy with mrd skill allow me to be extra aggressive on hulks and I just abuse my Supply backpack for more Stimson and Grenades. I did switch out H.machine gun for machine gun since I don't have engineering skill to help with accuracy but if you are just accurate then you just fine.

@FrostyHots the lock on is based on your visual picture of the thing you're trying to shoot, make sure you can see the bottom of what you're trying to target and also thin things can block you like fences. However because the spears targeting is so precise, it means you can get away with as little as a thin sliver of the top and bottom of a fabricator in order to target the object and fire. Also the triangle that appears is like a game of hot and cold, the closer it gets to locking on, the closer you are to the right spot for targeting the building. Also height is your friend, it kinda tricks the system into thinking you can see the top and bottom. Last thing I'll say, moving targets are obviously harder so bring stuns!

Cluster Bomb for some crowd control or 110s for Bile Titans. Rail cannon also for chargers and BTs though I try to prioritize BTs with it if I have 110s. Supply Backpack to deal with the abysmal ammo count of the HMG but the way I use it I don't necessarily need the backpack so sometimes I'll just run 110s and Cluster. Grenade Pistol for bug holes and either impact incendiary or stuns. If I'm feeling spicy I'll replace the HMG with the Flamethrower.

And I use light armor with the grenades passive, specially the one from the Demolition warbond
I guess I’m a support player covering all roll’s depending on what my team mates have on stratagems but also as a minor backup when downed or needed
I always go with the Ammo pack with LMG and Auto cannon sentry and my last stratagem to be either of the others in the list above. But it changes depending if my team needs more crowd support or Heavy hitting stuff, but it also depends on the mission for me
I choose light armor too with the grenades passive because I find it easier for me to survive with more stamina and using stun grenades help a ton and more of it will benefit me, and for lethal explosives for Fabricators and bug holes I got the grenade pistol. The new SMG also helps me a ton because of its very low recoil along side it’s concussion rounds for medium armored enemies
I like to be well rounded for every scenario which is why my play style is very Jack of all trades and master of none, and it also helps by using more precise stratagems for myself to kill my team mates LESS so we can finish the mission with a full 100%

Hey again. I decided to update my builds because I wanted more flash lol. I still stand by old build but these are my current and this time both vs bots and bugs is a bit different now.
    VS BUGS
Armour: light armour with engineering skill
    Eruptor
    Adven. Pistol
    Thermite Grenades
Booster: full ammo one (cant remember name 😂)
    Stratagems:
    Stalwart
    Supply backpack
    Rail cannon strike
    Eagle air strike
    VS BOTS:
Armour: Heavy (either fortified or med skill, if you rather med or heavy then I recommend engineering skill)
    Breaker
    Grenade Pistol
    Thermites
    Booster: stamina
    Stratagems:
    Machine Gun
    Supply backpack
    Rail cannon strike
    Eagle airstrike (or O.laser)
For bots allows me bit of freedom to get closer, control as much as I can and Thermite or rail strike bigger targets. Supply pack keeps me alive with more Stim and more Grenades.
For bugs speed here and control. Speed to place more thermites and create better gaps so I can control smaller bugs. Eruptor helps with med size bugs and with thermites takes down chargers fast to save my stratagems for control on field. I also found following what I call the ninja in group and supporting him works really well here. Also the Eruptor is fun to used once I got used to it.
I love having two different sets now. Used ww could save load outs so I don't have to keep changing armours and gear around all the time 😂. I added boosters in there because without stamina the heavy armour dont feel right also we don't talk about boosters much in our builds lol.

Against the bot (not effective, but fun for difficulty 7, maybe 8-9 but I have skill issue). Though it isn't a difference maker, you are still going to dish out some fairly desirable results if you do it right.
The Recoiless Rifle paired with the Expendable AT makes a fun duck hunting combo. With this, your primary task is to make sure that you shoot down as many dropships as possible. Another thing with RR + EAT is that it trivializes hulks (and factory striders to an extent).
Lastly (and only use this as a last ditch trick), with the amount of AT shots you're given between the 2 weapons, you could do a "F*ck you in particular" move and take out a handful of heavy/rocket devastator with 1 well placed shot from close to medium range.
You could use the quasar, and save yourself a bagpack slot, but RR and EAT is a cooler pair than QC and EAT.
