You requested it, so here I am at Panda Express. It's slim pickings here because they use lots of sugar, flavor enhancers, and ingredients that I'd rather you try to avoid! But hey, I did find a few healthy'ish options.

I used to eat at Panda Express everyday before work... and I mean everyday... sometimes I would get the bigger plate... and well... 3 months later I learn I am 297lbs, have type 2 diabetes and a liver full of fat cells (but not quite fatty liver disease yet...no pain or any of the other symptoms yet). All of it forced me to start taking my diet much more seriously and it lead me to this channel. I had no idea how much shit I was putting into my body... and it's everywhere... so I'm glad there are people like Bobby who take the time to research all the deceptive ingredients in our food.
U can save money by cooking. There's more than enough to choose from at the store, just find a recipe you like and make it. It's not hard to cook either
I currently work at panda and have been eating it everyday for my break since I started working. I can say I have gained allot of weight and some possible health problems because of it 😢
So much for the FDA to be giving consumers valid and reliable information (yellow 5, red 40). We need an agency which REALLY looks out for us.

Yes POLLO LOCO seems to have a lot of healthy options. Grilled chicken. Fresh salsa.

I ate there once at the atlanta airport and felt like crap. Never again thank you Bobby for exposing their practice of claiming to be MSG free. Great content!! 21g of sugar is crazy most cookies have like 10/12 g of sugar and they are dessert...

Wow! Maltodexrin is not only in almost everything they serve, but also near the top of the ingredient list. I'd be having a full blown IBS episode if I ate there! I wonder how many people are like me who didn't realize that their IBS, or gut problems are solely being caused by this (Maltodexrin is also known as "Modified Corn Starch").

This is probably one of the best behind chipotle and possibly subway, they literally have one of the fewest ingredients i have seen out of all the fast food you reviewed. It really doesn't have the insanely bad stuff that was in all the fast food. Obviously there are the oils and MSG because its fast food but to be honest for a fast food chain, that brown rice and teriyaki chicken is probably the cleanest fast food meals I have seen! If you know how to choose and look the at the ingredients panda express is a good option beside chipotle and possibly subway!

Cantonese Chinese American in Southern California here - Haven’t eaten Panda Express in YEARS. But in a pinch, I would go there - while the food may not be very healthy, I have to admit they are tasty. Do not judge please!

Grilled chicken with a split side of super greens and brown rice is my go too meal on a gym day.

It takes over 20-30 minutes to get PE at the location in town because it is so busy. That has helped myself not eat there anymore.

When you eat at that place you got to treat it as a special experience that you only do once in a while. The problem with that is that they add msg and that will make you want to eat it over a healthy alternative. So many people are weak and will get addicted to that garbage and then they get fat and diabetic. That is the American story.

If your having to eat gluten free there is not much you can eat as most places use a ton of soy sauce which has wheat in it.
That is not true. I have microscopic colitis and when that became a part of my life one of the adjustments I had to make was to do away with gluten as every time I ate it I became violently ill. Believe me it was not psychological. I had know idea what was making sick until the doctor told me to cut gluten from my diet because the colitis would not let me eat gluten.

Years ago I ate at Panda Inn in Pasadena, CA before there were any Panda Express restaurants. This is the restaurant that started it all. The best Chinese food I have ever eaten. It’s still there. It would be interesting if it is still as good today.
