Hi joe, The warning ‘this function may cause chip damage’ is this meaning if we break something while soldering. Or does it mean the procedure a risk in general?
After buying the IM608, and all the add ons with a new soldering iron and then a warning pops up that might render the entire system non addressable, I think I'll pass.
Best videos on YT! Good job, Joe!
Thanks bro!
Great video! Thanks for sharing & Greetings from Mexico! 😎
Magnificent teacher
Hi, what key cutter you recommend? I'm thinking about Xhorse or the 2m2 magic tank
Great information. But Just how would you program the remote then?
Thanks!
Thank you!
great video, what year is this vehicle?
Will this work on 2018 sprinter with blade key? I have Autel im508 with xp400 with gbox2 I wanna add key and should I remove and read eis module.
Hi joe,

It's both. EEPROM reading in-circuit carries risk of corruption or can possibly short the circuit board. Need to proceed with caution
@AutelJoe can the eeprom be recovered if it gets corrupt while reading or do you need a new eis?
Thanks.
No remote programming? Besides kr55 is there any other solution for remote programming? Thank you.
would this work on 2017 sprinter and where to buy the transponder?
Thanks for sharing brother
Can the IM508 also perform this procedure on this same vehicle?
You have to have the programmer xp400
Yes with XP400
is this part of the kr55 system?
Anyone know if there the way to add a key with remote activated?
Do you use kr55?
is the eis a pain in the ass to get to? Thanks for the video!
Not really
Can the im608 add that type of key?
Yes same
@@JoeDLocksmith can i add key with obd? or do i have to do this same procedure to add key 2017 sprinter
