- Starcraft The Speed of Darkness is a sci-fi novel written by Tracy Hickman and published for Blizzard Entertainment in 2002. It follows the protagonist Ardo Melnikov as he is conscripted into the Confederacy Marines after the Zerg wipe out his colony.
This is a self-made recording of the novel with all the quirks and issues of a personal recording. I am not a proffesional, just someone who thought to try his skills at narrating some of the books i like and share them with others. I only did this because i was always a fan of the Starcraft universe and its lore. Feel free to leave comments or opinions if you feel like it or you enjoyed it.
I do not own the rights to the source material, nor anything related to Starcraft or Blizzard Entertainment. Thank you.
Thank you for this. This is one of my all-time favorite books, but I have yet to find an audiobook of this... until now. You do a great job, brings back some golden memories. =)
I'm surprised anyone finds this narration enjoyable. It's my first one and I think its terrible, lol.
@@GrimDarkNarrator It's not professional, sure, but you read it clear and concise, and that's what matters. I appreciate it nonetheless.
INSTANT CLASSIC.....FRAKING EPIC!!!!!!!! Would love to hear you do the classics..bsg, doom aliens presator, terminator, keep us posted!!!!
I've listened to the Battletech and the Diablo book so far. Gotta admit you do a great job. I'm guessing English in not your first language but it's still great. I honestly think my favorite parts are you repeating a sentence and repeating it properly how you want to. I could never do this and I'm a native English speaker. keep it up!
***** dude you did a killer job!
Thank you my friend
Always welcome
Fantastic reading, sir; been really enjoying listening to this while I work. Would be keen to hear you read the Horus Heresy stories, if the desire ever takes you! Thanks again!
2020 and by now ive listened to over a dozen of your recordings. Wow you started 8 years ago?
Feels like even longer, lol.
one of the best books ive read
Its a nice, if basic one.
I have all the books in physical as well as audio versions on audible and this is the only one they haven’t made an audiobook version for for whatever reason. Annoying since I like to listen to them at work, and this one was holding me up from listening to others in chronological order, lol. Not sure why they haven’t made one for this officially yet. Thanks for doing it.
Surprised you enjoyed it. It's my very first audiobook, and I hate it, lol.
@@GrimDarkNarrator oh come on, don’t be so hard on yourself, it wasn’t even close to as bad as you seem to believe, haha. It served its purpose well for me and kept me entertained through the course of my work day :)
you did a very good job . thank you for this .it's nice everyone can enjoy this now because of you 👭👺👹👿😡
Thanks. You're very kind.
I love all your video's your Transylvanian accent is just really nice to listen to in sci-fi or phantasy - horror stories. You and "a Border Prince" are my nr 1 Narrators so I hope you do a book together!
Glad you like this book. I think it was quite literally my first audiobook. I personally think its a horrible narration, lol. But I'm happy someone enjoys it.
@@GrimDarkNarrator No it was not that I liked the book, it was ok, I liked the Narration because thats what makes it good and enjoyable!
Well love it....one suggestion tho, put a bit more emotions bro. I mean if you do that, the money will come
:c.. I miss your WH40k novels..

Dude you have brought joy to this sci fi nerd....i look forward to hearing more of work...do you have plans to do more star craft books?if i may make a suggestion ..could you possibly do the aliens vs predator novles?
