    Thanks for the tutorial - just fyi - you don't have to click midi-capture in this instance, you can simply click the 'Drag' button to drag the midi over. I think capture if for improv.

    Hey thank you for the video, just had a question how are you able to play the instrument without having Red Enable on, on the scaler instance. I always have to keep the rec enable on, on the scaler instance + the Instrument track as-well, tried doing the same way you did, keeping the monitoring on but no luck :( is there some settings i need to do which i am missing?

    • @UDiAudio
      @UDiAudio  7 месяцев назад

      There are many options in scaler but I can be sure if you limit the play range. This video is just to demonstrate the idea. Practically I would drag the midi sequence to my project and adjust.. meaning using scaler to get started and continue from there.

    I understand why someone would want to use Scaler, but come on… this takes all the fun of creating music out of the equation. You might as well just ask an AI bot to make the music for you. 💁🏻‍♂️

    • @UDiAudio
      @UDiAudio  Год назад +5

      Hey
      Well I agree and disagree.. :)
      First this video was a request from a viewer and I was happy to demosnstrate how this can be done. Second, you must understand that there are many people that don't know how to play a instrument or maybe they play piano but not guitar. I think using such tools in the right context can be very helpful. Your production can have many tracks and maybe this Scaler can help with some parts.

    • @jjbing3

      I wonder what your view on sampling is? 🤔

    • @INeedsMoneys
      @INeedsMoneys 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@jjbing3 very good question and i see your point. I love sampling instruments myself and use sampled instruments all the time. I also dabble in sampling other people’s music to use in my own compositions. But sampling, whether its a piano plugin or a piece of music doesn’t take the fun out of music production. Its just my opinion, what i love the most about music is the theory behind it. The math. Why certain harmonies sound the way they do. Chords. Scales. Emotion. Using scaler would take the fun out of it for me. Just my opinion.
