Bear with us guys!!! We are learning. But I think we got it all figured out!!! Sometimes it’s trial and error. We only went to this bog for the day just to test it. I can say you guys will like the new improvements we’ve made this week!!!
Hear in the Northeast we like to spay original WD-40 in the distributor cap if we know the mud is going to be deep or even just a hot humid day, does what it was designed for WD after all stands for Water Dispersant.
Make a sealed box that takes the place of the 3 finned bug catcher intake and run a 4 in pipe from the box to cab no water or mud in carbs. Best of luck and great job to the both of you Justin’s keep it up
An old trick for waterproofing the distributor, get a pair of Marigolds ( dish washing gloves ) and run the plug wires up through the fingers and stretch the cuff end over the cap and body, securing them with strong elastic bands. Try to make the openings on the fingers as small as possible and again seal them up with elastic bands over the pair of wires in each finger. Use the thumb for the King lead if needed. Used to work well on our Range Rover off roader that regularly used to see water over the bonnet line. Less messy than grease everywhere if there was an issue.
Used to run a thin film of gasket maker on the mating surface of the distributor cap and let it set up before putting it back on. Also dielectric grease on the plug wire connections helped alot
OK,peanut gallery here ( Monday morning quarterback ) Fuel injection, yes, but what about spraying the distributor and wires with that flex seal stuff( make it a commercial) it will help with insulation between the wires and headers as well as keeping water out. just an old man's thought.
We use duct seal mixed with a little wd40 to keep water out of the distributor on the mud trucks around here. Just lay it on thick and cover the whole cap in it. The wd40 keeps it soft
Your channel is completely changed with Jess and coming on board. Crunching the numbers and getting him to come on board. It has turn this whole thing around.
It did have a small fire tho. Think it was fuel burp when they waved him to stop. (I rewind to see it. Flash in the clear cowl & small fire above header.) Justin was smart to have them spray just a touch in there.
New engine is sucking more air, so the carbs are now jetted wrong and are running lean. That is why the exhaust is so hot. Put an afr gauge on it and get those carbs tuned before you melt a fancy new piston.
Seal up the top and bottom of the distributor and around the plugs and leads with Selleys Silicone 401 RTV or donso tape have done it multiple times and can submerged an petrol engine without out having issues
Take like 6 inch 90s for like exhaust pipe thin wall turn where you want them weld them together run them through the firewall and put filters on them you will never have that problem again just set the 90s right on top of the carburetor drill a hole through them bolt them dowultimately and then make your piping the way you want it Go right through the firewall and stick your air filters on that's what I did with mine works awesome. As far as the distributor goes wrap it with old inner tube

Thanks for killing it with all the uploads the past few weeks!

RIP headphone users!! Lol sounds great!!

That's Hella smart. Appreciate the tip
That is one of the most brilliant ideas I've ever heard! Hell yeah sir!
Distributor condoms save lives
@@marshallgibson8872 🤣🤣🤣 Certainly saved us from getting wet a few times.
Sounded sick AF on the pad! 🤘
That part got me hype, truck sounded mean af!!
One thing we'll never mess with JH about is his ability to Bury the throttle
Put it on e85, keeps it cooler and gives extra 100hp. Charged engines like it a lot, cools the intake temp and the charger.
One thing for certain JH will put on a show !
Im glad to see big Ron back in the game, rip it up baby
These are some of my favorite videos to watch from JH
Fully sending it on that tug of war was ballin man😂ain’t no other way to do it! That thing can rip
Those Headers Weren’t Happy Soon as that thing started Bounce’n off the Rev Limiter🔥🔥🔥🏁🏁
Bro that tug of war was SICK! Well done brother hell of a show.
Hey diesel guy, yall are doing pretty dang good with those gassers! Keep it up, can't wait for the next Ron burgundy update!
We're not gonna beat on tha mota. Fresh build and all. 🤣🤣
Dang. You might be a diesel guy but you have to admit the big block sounds freaking amazing with a blower. Freaking ripper!
Holy shit JH, talk about holding the foot to the boards! love it!
You’ll get it! Blower motors definitely have a learning curve, but the truck definitely killed it! Hope to see you there in March!
WOW JH you did really good in the pulling even with no blower awsome!!
Babe wake up! JH gasser and fwd uploaded!!
That tug-o-war was insane!!!
Used to run a thin film of gasket maker on the mating surface of the distributor cap and let it set up before putting it back on. Also dielectric grease on the plug wire connections helped alot
HELL YEAH JH
Waiting to see more content on the MEGA truck
It’s coming. We just got a bunch of parts in so we can start back on it.
Might need to check AFR’s and jet it up a bit now that you’ve increased air flow . The exhaust got hot quick.
Digging the big block and Blower ! 🇺🇸💪
Man I’m glad Justin decided to come work for you. He is the mvp
OK,peanut gallery here ( Monday morning quarterback )

We don't have anything like this in AZ but we do have great trails and rock crawling. This looks super fun
12:25 when doing big burnouts you should try to run it rich. It might help keeping things cooler.

I love how when yo in the moment JH you juss send it brother...💯💪🏾
Your channel is completely changed with Jess and coming on board. Crunching the numbers and getting him to come on board. It has turn this whole thing around.
Them pistons and rings were glowing dud u need fuel fuel fuel it was so lean !!
Justin says hey!!!!
He don’t want to build that motor a third x because they thought the headers were on fire 😂
It did have a small fire tho. Think it was fuel burp when they waved him to stop.
(I rewind to see it. Flash in the clear cowl & small fire above header.)
Justin was smart to have them spray just a touch in there.
Bro that thing was EATIN'!!! nice job on the build. cant wait to see how it runs with the kinks worked out!
Lemme tell ya something, that was badass dude, you and cleeter make me miss Florida so much
Put a vent hose on the distributor and plumber's puddy to seal the cap and wires.
That setup with a 2wd SCS case would be a ripper!!!
JH putting in the WORK on this channel. Real good stuff every video.
WD40 for carb linkages and Di Electric grease for the distributor, plug wires and all the rest of the electrical connections!
Goooddaaaamm son ole girl was screaming her heart out. I love some red hot headers baby. Music to a buddy's ears.
JH’s “test and tune” is a mud bog. Nice👌🏼
JH and Justin y'all rock! Love the sound of the blown big block. Peace
New engine is sucking more air, so the carbs are now jetted wrong and are running lean. That is why the exhaust is so hot. Put an afr gauge on it and get those carbs tuned before you melt a fancy new piston.
Fire me up! I'd like to see more behind the scenes at the mud Park.
Badass video man that burnout on the pull pad was sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You should look into getting a Carb Cheater, you can monitor afr and data log as well as it can fine tune your afr.
Damn that truck sounds good
jh instantly made all spectators plug there ears in synch love it that thing screams holy shit
Seal up the top and bottom of the distributor and around the plugs and leads with Selleys Silicone 401 RTV or donso tape have done it multiple times and can submerged an petrol engine without out having issues
Man that beast was screaming!!!
11:55 that crowd was sleep until you came out!!!!
Need to throw some of that thin foam around the opening of the hat and the cover to keep anything from getting near the front of the hat.
Loving the build.. Y’all boys keep up the good work!
Vaseline around the plug wire ends and the seal on the cap should help keep it dry
Dang!! Letting that thing eat during the pull - putting on a show!!
Love the progression, everybody thinks mudding is easy
that tug tho..
rocklights be like "were bright"
headers "hold my beer"
Love watching you guys
Full send! Love it!
Doesn't even check the plug color, or fuel air mixture hell doesn't even have a wide ban sensor lol
Maybe time for a plexiglass window and bring the scoop through the window and use the cab as a fresh air pull? Just thinking out loud.
I've been watching since before you're music video days not going to stop now
Run an airlocker compressor line to the dizzy pressurizing the dizzy
That an Aussie Landrover trick from way back
That’s what testing is for .
Brother that was sick!!
Sent it for that pull 🔥🔥🔥🔥
So that’s how you break in a new engine nicely on the pad at full tilt haha 😂
Sounds awsome when you’re in it really hard. Great job.
lifes a gardnen dig it and if ya cant dig it bog it
"Not going to beat on it too much." 10 seconds later: Headers glowing like the horns of lucifer. :D
Those headers were fire red while pulling
Should route the the air intake to pull air from inside the cab then just have to worry about the distributor
Welcome to JH Gas
Great content thanks for sharing
Love it brother keep up the hard work!!!!
First time commenting but damnnn JH you put on one hell of a show keep it up bro.
That’s a meannn ole truck boi 💯💯
@12:48!!!
HELL YEAH!!! Chooch’n
Use Duct Seal on the distributor to keep it water tight. That’s how all the mud guys do it where I am from 5:30
Hell yeah brother send it to the Moon and back
It seems like its running a little lean? The headers were glowing pretty quick
EGT is just a number lollll
Damn JH thought he was at cletus and cars burnout competition 😂😂😂
Talk about full send i love it
Really think you need a lower gear set. Its revving to the moon with minimal wheel speed. Definitely could pull a house down with it though
dielectric grease around the plugs and around distributor get distributor grease Or Carlube Aquaslip Waterproof Grease.
Pretty Stout no doubt
Spray the distributor with WD40. It repels water. Keeps thing dry that need to stay dry. Inside and outside.
Put a Holley on it and be done with the carbs
Most holly EFI setups don't work on blower motors....
Freaking badass brother.
Trucks sounds AWESOME!!! LOL Headers GLOWING like a Mofo!! #BuiltByBo
9:14 JH big block 😂 I had to say it 😂 that truck is bad ass tho
Put the intake in the cab. No more water/mud injection
Time to go E85, dielectric grease on the plug wires, put silicone around the distributor.
EFI will take care of that issue 👌🏻
Absolutely rowdy
Ol Ron!!!
Love those color headers that ain't factory 😂
Yee yee! Great video as always
I predict, this channel will have a high increase of new subscribers, in the near future.
