  • Electronic logs, e-logs, will be the future of the trucking industry. Many truckers are opposed to the evolution from the paper log to the computerized e-log system. Many drivers have been running on the paper log system for their entire driving career.... some for over 35 years, so this change is not going to be easy for them.
They are several issues which still need to be ironed out with this relatively new system, however good trucking companies know how to integrate the system wisely and work with their drivers.

Good channel, well said. In Europe all trucks have "electronic logs" but drivers and companies find out the way to cheat those devices. I bet that will happen also here in North America. My opinion e-logs will destroy trucking industry, America is not ready for them yet.

They'll be mandated very soon. Dispatchers and the company can change the log books, but usually only when it benefits them.

why don't we just share trucks down all for a three-day strike see how fast this shit goes we how much regular season does a person have to take or a company have to take we don't make shit from money anyone regularly this. This big flipper have regulations? Because I don't see them jumping through all the fucking Hoops that we do. I don't mind the electronic log but also don't like a lot of shit that goes with it I mean the half-hour break you got to do between 86 hours what if I'm tired before or after and then I got to shut down again you know it's just stupid I just want to make more rules I mean how much how many rules can we have before there are no more rules to make cuz it's just a possible. And by the way if I own my own truck? I'll be goddamned if I'm going to have somebody tell me I have to run electronic logs I like hear what year truck we have. I don't need the government's permission to do business in this country it's not the climbers Claus he there so screw them nothing I'm going to get a truck but if I did I had a towing company! They going to make you run electric logs and towing to El think so
