I definitely wouldn't remove Carmen. Even though she has no innate protection, she ties a lot of what Vampires care about all into one card. I'm actually running her in the Command Zone, as I find Vampires run smoothly without neccessarily needing the Commander in play. But when you do have her out, she starts to really synergize with those lifegain and token/sac effects, and the recursion puts her way over the top.
Clavileno has a lot of synergy with Liliana's Contract; Clavileno - Whenever you attack, target attacking Vampire that isn't a Demon becomes a Demon in addition to its other types. Liliana's Contract - upkeep trigger, If you control four or more Demons with different names, you win the game. This would mean that unless your opponent chooses to target your new Vampire Demons, you can win the game in a single turn. If an opponent decides to kill them, you instead get a 4/3 white and black Vampire Demon creature token with flying. It's a win win either way. You can also now cause a bit of chaos with Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bind, because the trigger suggests they will infinitely trigger until either Enchantment cannot target an opponent anymore, winning the game. It's even funnier if you add Bloodletter of Aclazotz into the mix, doubling all damage and life gain at the same time. 🍻
I’m building a vampire deck from scratch with Anowon as my commander. I’ll be using this precon to boost my deck for sure. Most of the vampires I have aren’t on this list.
Im surprised vito thorn of the duskrose didnt make it onto this list, hes under 5 bucks for now and at 3 mana is much easier to play than sanguine bond, plus hes a vamp so it fits the tribal theme
He definitely was considered, I only couldn't find him at the $5 pricepoint (he was around $8-10 for me), but he is absolutely a top choice for the Exquisite Blood combo.
Blood Rites for sure. It needs little to no upgrading to be great out of the box. On the other hand, Crimson Vow is good too, but it needs alot more upgrading to be on par with Blood Rites.
So with clavilenos text, do you only get the 4/3 token when an attacking vampire dies while attacking, or is it a permanent affect that said attacking creature gets when once it attacks for the first time?
You have to be one of the few youtubers that actually made an effort to correctly (or close enough) pronounce the card name. Great video too!

I did same. I change commander for Carmen and add Metalminic. IT is great with Dusk Legion Sergent what gives persist to vampires.
And she is Permanent recursion, meaning you can reanimated enchantments, artifacts, lands/fetch lands, planeswalkers...

Im currently building Vito, Fanatic of Aclazotz, but Im totally going to get this precon for some of the really good singles it has.

What did you remove for the additions?
Might i recommend nesting grounds land to remove finality counter to opponents creatures with queens bay paladin
With march of the canonized 6:54 would devotion from the clavenio 4/3 flyers be added since it says they are white and black?
Unfortunately no. Devotion looks at mana pips in casting costs, and since creature tokens don't have mana costs, they can't contribute.
Could you list the 21 cards you would drop to add th extras in?
I was hoping for the same thing

Mirkwood bats is another good card for this deck. Not a vampire but still.
What would you remove to add in the upgrades? I’m newer to magic’s so I would love input! Thanks!
which precon deck is better, blood rites or vampiric bloodline (strefan maurer) from crimson vow?
Blood Rites for sure. It needs little to no upgrading to be great out of the box. On the other hand, Crimson Vow is good too, but it needs alot more upgrading to be on par with Blood Rites.

After it attacks that first time, it gains the text until it leaves the battlefield, which will trigger regardless of how the creature dies.
This deck always starts really strong and then unfortunately gets everyone's attention.
