I especially liked it when Katie Porter accused Riley Gaines of just pandering for "likes" in social media, while she completely ignores the fact that it's Dylan Mulvaney who is making his living that way.

And analogies are most effective when you use an extreme more clear cut example to point out the connection to the original that isn't clear cut. I think it's disingenuous to say, are you saying it's the same as January 6th, because you are accusing him of not even making an analogy, that's just a straight comparison if he's saying it's exactly like January 6th in scale and damage. He made a complete fool of himself. Clearly he has looked into it and yet somehow seems more ignorant that a random plucked off the street. FTX was they only thing he was right about and the entire point of crypto is to avoid organizations like FTX.
It's not a security. It's not an investment. Its a medium for trade, like cash. That is it's use. Those computers, they are used to handle transactions. that's what "mining" is. You offer processing power for transactions and get some crypto in exchange for that service. Like a bank processing transaction but without the bank or "FTX" which as mentioned is the point.

I seem to remember Matt Gaetz and friends interrupting a congressional hearing and protesting and saying they were not allowed inside... only to be told they were supposed to be inside. I also remember Matt Gaetz wearing a gas mask and interrupting the Congressional proceedings. He was also accused of trafficking a minor with the intent of having sex.

Not only that, the Tennessee LAWMAKERS had their microphones cut off while addressing gun violence. That's why they brought in a bullhorn. Yes, comparing people who smashed windows, assaulted police and broke into the Capitol with the hope of killing lawmakers and overturning an election is exactly like lawmakers, who actually belonged in the Capitol, using a bullhorn because their microphones were cut off🤦‍♀️ Piers Morgan is an idiot.

.. Gaetz is a weasel but he wasn't convicted or even charged with any sex crime, just investigated. Investigation is not guilt. . . .. . The Tennessee legislators lead 5000 people, a mob, into their capitol, who refused to leave. The cops didn't want to tear gas em but frankly that would be fair, you cant trespass once told to leave and then claim victimhood.... . No mobs inside any capitol anywhere. We don't want each side sending bigger and bigger crowds to try to get their way, soon it's 50000 republicans then 60000 democrats then it's punches and gunfire... No mobs inside capitols... .....

That was one of the best shows I have seen of Real Time. The debate between Katie Porter and Piers Morgan was excellent. It could not have been better scripted. The interview over Crypto was also perfect and informative. And each "performer" was absolutely perfect in their role. And there is no doubt that Bill Maher is a consummate professional, who does his bits with perfection.

In fact, they sound just like the people who were opposing MLK at the time-- saying that instead of protesting, look towards due process and trust the rule of law and decorum to get your justice.
