Great video man. Skids are definitely worth the investment and can protect against some very expensive damages. I highly recommend the RCI rear differential skid also. The rear diff is the lowest point underneath the tacoma and can take a unexpected hit on a rock.
Dude, appreciate putting all these together! I am also in west PNW, would you mind sharing few entry level overlanding route? Thanks.
Great video - first two mods I did as well! I would also recommend a set of tire deflators ($30) and a quality air compressor ($165). I went with Smitty Built for what that’s worth
110% i used to manually deflate with the little stick tire gauge and went to an ORV park with a guy who let me use his 4 Staun deflators - was sold in a heartbeat. So much time savings. I bought the Viair compressor and that’s fine for me, but I’ve also seen the Smitty in action and it’s cool. My bud connected his smitty to a tire gauge so that he just sets the gauge to fill up to 32 and boom all done. It’s not faster than my compressor (they’re the same speed) but it’s much less measuring for the right psi. Good call out!
Good info. Nice rig!
1. Find a friend with 4x4
