HI…. Thanks for taking the time to upload this mate as its the exact one I’m looking at too. I had the same issue with my GoPro 7 Black…Bloody thing kept turning off when i needed it most and thought it was still recording. I found out through settings it was my power saving option left on.
Hi John, man I’m so glad it helped you. I have used mine plenty now, and I have to be honest in saying, I wouldn’t be without it now, especially for the money. I’ll look at my GoPro setting, I could be that. Thanks for commenting, it means a lot!👍
Nice review! We've used similar blinds with great success. A few key takeaways from my experiences: 1. your smell. Get & use scent free deodorant and laundry soap. Mammals will smell you long before they'll see you. This doesn't really apply to birds. 2. We use a bit of camo mesh taped to the inside around the lens. Still allows to see out, but hides our face just that little bit. 3. Wear dark clothing - camo or black inside. Helps further hide your face imprint from being seen. 4. Know your subject - read about the subject you're after so you have a better idea of where to put your blind. 5. Have fun :)
Thanks man, yeah, I use and wear nothing perfumes. I made a video on a mesh front cover and rain hood. I always wear Camo when out photographing. I always want to know more about the subject than I do. And yes, most importantly, have fun! 👍👍
Nice review Haydn, thankyou. I bought one earlier this year and I left it out overnight quite a bit during the wet summer and to be honest the seat did get a bit wet over night but most Of us tend to dress for the weather so it’s not really an issue I guess. I use a scrim net with some washing line pegs for the front aperture. Great value piece of equipment. Cheers
Thanks Martin, I’ve coated mine in a few coats of fabseal, and used a split scrim net as a cover on Velcro tabs. Hopefully I’ll stay a bit dryer than maya be I possibly would. I have filmed it, so I may make a video on it, I’ll see how much time footage I have in total. Thanks for the comment!
Cheers for such a good review mate, a genuine perspective. I'm definitely looking into one down here in Aus 🇦🇺 for some birding. I'm just over 6ft tall though, how do you rekken I'll go for head room?
Thanks for your review. Very helpful. Do you need a well chosen tripod with a particularly narrow spread of legs to be able to fit inside the hide? Thank for your help 👍
Another vote for fabsil and seam sealer 👍🏻 also I have sewn in some hooks along the big opening and hang a scrim net off of it. Kingfishers did not know I was there👍🏻
I've got one of these and yes they are not 100 percent water proof, as for the lens cover at the front , I've clipped in a scrim , easy enough done , sow in a couple of clips that your scrim clips on to .
Fantastic review mate,, just bought one and need some pointers 😉👌❤️🇬🇧water proofing I think is important.... Silicone spread I think will cure the rain
I've got one of these on the way, a different brand, but looks like it's the exact same thing. I have to ask, are those shoes Merrells? They look exactly the same as mine. 😀
Have one of these and used it for over a year in all weathers, for what they cost they are a steal, as for water proof I used a can of fabseal. Is there a downside? Not really again for the price. Thanks

Thanks man. Well I’m 5’6” and I just have enough, I’ll be honest, you may struggle somewhat!🤔
Thanks for your review. Very helpful.

Thank for your help 👍
I’m glad it was helpful, and no, a normal tripod will do, plenty of room!👍
Thanks so much 👍
thanks you for this review I went to RSPB Pulborough Brooks on Tuesday had good day
Thanks for the kind words, Hope RSPB PB was busier wildlife wise for you than when I went.

Awesome, thanks!
Just use some iron on Velcro on the viewing port to attach a snood for the front mate. Nice looking hide
Now that’s a good idea, thanks man!👍
Would you recommend one of this hides I was thinking of buying one my self great video Haydn
Hey Brian, Yes I would, and i wouldn't be without mine now.
I've got one of these and yes they are not 100 percent water proof, as for the lens cover at the front , I've clipped in a scrim , easy enough done , sow in a couple of clips that your scrim clips on to .
Great idea, many thanks! 🙏

Merrell Moab 2, came out in 2017, now I’m 1 year in to my second pair!😂
Great video, what camera and lens did you use?
Thanks man. I use a canon Eosr and a sigma 150-500 lens.
Have one of these and used it for over a year in all weathers, for what they cost they are a steal, as for water proof I used a can of fabseal. Is there a downside? Not really again for the price. Thanks
Good idea, I’ll fabseal the hell out of it, thanks man!
i have one and i used tent seam sealer and tent re proof spray on it and it made a good bit of a difference but still not 100% but worth the effort .
Cheers man, yeah someone else suggested fabseal. Gonna seam seal and cover, thanks for taking the time.
