I swear I come back here every week to have Epsen show me how to break it down. Having said that, it's super easy and an incredible photography blind!

thanks for the detailed review of the setup and break down. The awning and chair look like necessary features as well.

A lot of thought went into developing that blind. Thanks for a great video explaining all there is to know about it.

    Great video.
It is the best value hide in the market. Very well thought out design and great durability.
Mine spent all winter erected with very strong winds (Ireland) and expect for some colour fading, it is as good as new and totally watertight.
A small thing that would make it even better is a 2 way zipper on the main door to allow the photographer to put his feet outside without having to open the whole door when photographing on the ground.

The new version is very nice. For me the Monal v2 is the perfect choice with the plenty room i side. Even if it is hot You dont have add the roof canopy.

Hi there , thanks for the video.. informative as always! Just so I’m clear.. I have the Grouse V+ ( bought Nov 2020) but I’ve always wished I could extend it and get closer to the ground. I didn’t think this would be possible though due to the ‘lip’ at the bottom of the rear door. Are you saying here that this awning fits the V+ .. do you just lay across the bottom lip ? Thanks for your help !

Just had a look.. the loops on the back you mention must be a new feature on the Grouse V+ as mine doesn’t have any .. guessing it wouldn’t be too hard to sew some in though so I might look at this anyway. Cheers.

Yeah exactly, I think it would be an easy attachment, and yes I just lie across the lip. I've modified Tragopan hides before 😅: ruclips.net/video/GDkzEQkDsTA/видео.html

I love the designs as I have several Tragopan blinds and camo gear. However I have criticised the quality of the material and stitching in the past as I have had water getting into the Monal v2 and Hokki which would make it impossible to sleep in over night as is recommended. The material is light and frail and easily tears and the clips on the windows can break. I had 2 broken even when I took delivery. Now that Morten Hilmer has made the same observation something might be improved as I did not expect to be listened to but they might listen to Morten. A professional quality version of the coverings should be an option thar are a bit heavier in quality and a better stitching strength for more challenging weather conditions and heavier use. if it is going to be left out for a few weeks in a woods or even months, then a separate complete covering should be an option that covers the blind for extra protection. The actual designs of the frames are excellent but for professional use the material needs to be beefed up.

I ordered everything in April. 3d camo suit, 3d camo Gear, Monal v2 and the chair. I waited some time for the 3d suit and then for the hide but now I have everything. Great quality

Hi Paul, yes sorry about that, the situation is quite tricky on many aspects, mostly due to covid...the first main reason is that our factories are overwhelmed with order, so the lead production time are becoming totally crazy. The factories have difficulties to respect their delivery time. For example when we usually needed 3 to 4 months time between the moment we place our production order and the moment we receive the product in our warehouse, we now are placing order that we will receive around June / July 2022....almost 1 year.... Luckily we have anticipated this problem and we have already several production order placed. The second reason is because of the chaos that occurs in the world transports company....price have raised crazily, 1 or 2 weeks delays on the shipment is an happy event...we've got one shipment which has been delayed for almost 3 months....last but not least, our products are becoming more and more successful, so the quantity we had anticipated for spring 2021 were all gone by the end of february 2021...ofcourse no complain here, but this problem is almost impossible to see coming until you realise that the warehouse is empty.... We are putting a lot of energy everyday to try to get some products as soon as possible...thanks for your understanding....

I would have bought one of these if it wasn't for all the extra tax and additional costs to get it shipped to the UK.
