I read Superman: Ending Battle after you recommended it in Thinking Critical's livestream about best Superman comics. I forgot you mentioned who the mastermind was so I was surprised to realize that it was basically a sequel to "What's so Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way".

Super happy that you included Superman/Batman Public Enemies. It's one of my favourites. Jeph Loeb's incredible handling of their friendship just reminds me of how much I hate Frank Miller's opinion that Superman and Batman shouldn't be friends
I really miss that relationship too. Feels like no one since then has been able to capture it as well as Loeb did.

4: Animal Man by Grant Morrison (I’m sure it’s a trade but I have both 30 year anniversary hardbacks)
3: Green Lantern: The Sinestro Corps War
2: The first paperback of Alan Moore’s Swamp Thing
1: Sandman vol 1 by Neil Gaiman
At this point anything new is a novel since writers write for both the trade an show and movie pitch and it shows

I love John Stewart from the cartoons but ever since reading Rebirth and series afterward Hal Jordan has been my favorite superhero.
I like John as well (his current series from PKJ is pretty good) but Hal is so much more interesting imo.

Hey Dylan I have a video idea for you. I was watching The Death Of Superman from the late 2000s and scene where Lex Luthor creates the cure for cancer got me thinking about your “Why Lex hates Superman.” And thought it was out of character for Lex to not make it public seeing as how his motivation is to save humanity. I think his desire to be seen as humanities hero would trump his want for money but I want to hear what you think.
