I actually just finished cleaning/organizing my kitchen cabinets this morning 😂! I've done it 4-5 times (I've lived in my house for 2 years now). The organization is always a work in progress! I donate every time I do the task! Haha, so satisfying!
Great job!!! I installed the slider shelves some of my cabinets as well and love them. I plan to do all of the lower cabinets. Girl, you should have kept those Corning baking dishes….those things are selling for a premium price on Etsy.

I seriously limit what I have and bring in. My kitchen is a decent size, but it can be easy to let the space run away from me. I committed to buying things in neutral colors, invest in good quality items, and purchase appliances and things that are multifunctional.
Hey Michelle, Happy Thursday. I love how you make an organize plan before you start decluttering your cabinets. I love how you create before and after clips of the cabinets as well so we have a better idea of how much better it looks after you were done. ❤ I love the slider shelves as well they are definitely a good thing to have in the cabinets.
Many times what stalls us is “but I spent a lot of money on this” or “it was a gift” or “this was my late gram’s”… We have to be ruthless with ourselves and that is harder than just closing the door or drawer on these items. DO NOT FEEL GUILTY for past purchase, gifts or memory items. If you haven’t used it, if it’s still in its packaging, if it was a gift but you never really liked it/not your style, the family memory items are not practical or never used, then ITS OKAY to declutter it! YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO GET RID OF IT! For instance, last month I went through 2 deep drawers in my bathroom vanity and 3 big bins of MAKEUP! More than half was still in its store packaging, I either bought it or it came from Ipsy or Fun-Fab-Fit subscriptions and had been sitting there for probably 1-2 years not used! The bins in the closet were immediately dumped in a donate box without me going through it (the items had been in the bins for close to 2 years and were unopened), the drawers had expired makeup and skin care so that went first, then I went through both drawers and the only things I kept were my skin care products (about 7 items total for day and night care) that were back stock) and 3 mascaras still in their packaging. When I was done, those 2 drawers were basically empty, one drawer became the extra toilet paper storage and the other was 1 each of body wash, body lotion, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, mouthwash, dental floss, hair serum and hair wax and skin care; our sink mirrors our inset cabinets so my open skincare products and the makeup I use regularly is in that and the only thing on the counter is our toothbrushes and toothpaste and mouthwash and hand soap and lotion. The bins in the closet now hold back stock of the items that is one of the deep drawers. Be honest and ruthless with yourself and you will lose so much stress when you get rid of all the unused stuff. PS: all the makeup went to a women’s shelter and those ladies were ecstatic getting such “luxuries”.
