You are doing an amazing job decorating your new home. I think both vases look great with the olive tree. The smaller white one makes the tree look larger the bigger one draws more attention to the vase.

I agree. I think I prefer the smaller vessel though. Also, you only need the 2 large eucalyptus stems in the large pot on the console table. The smaller stem is too much. Less is more😉👍🏼
I love the olive trees in the smaller pot. I'd put the larger pot on the patio. I like your black fan. It circulates the air and it goes with your tv and other black items. I love the mirror but I think the table is too light. The gold tinted vase is really pretty so a black table would have been better. My favorite table is your black iron with marble top. I think its so unique. I also love drapes. I have cordless blinds on all my windows and drapes. The drapes just make the area cozy.
Aww Michelle I’m really loving how things are coming along. I personally love the big pot. I think when you have a large space with a high ceiling, bigger pieces fill it better! More impact without looking cluttered. It’s all coming along beautifully, great job!

I absolutely love everything you did. I really need that chandelier for my living room.
One little thing I do for extra large pots and planters is that I use some sort of riser inside of the pot. That way, the plant doesn't get swallowed up by such a large pot. Instead, the tree has an even grander appearance. Examples I've used inside of large planters are a combination of cinder blocks and smaller bricks around it. To give it a sturdier foundation in addition to raising the plant or tree to a natural looking level. I also add a cover to hide the bricks and some type of mulch or moss to complete the look.

Very pretty! I liked the initial console table to the right of the fireplace better but I suppose the way you wanted to decorate it, works better in the space. That mirror is everything - I love it leaned up against the console table. Just gorgeous! The pot and the tree are perfect there as well as the stems and lantern on the console table. The curtains are really pretty just confused why you would get blackout curtains when you’re not covering the windows. Maybe I misunderstood? I am in love with your rug. Great job!
Sue Wolfe- I love your additions to your living room. The olive tree is a nice add to bring in plant life to the space. I believe the smaller vase fits the size of the tree better. The larger one overwhelms it. It's a beautiful vase, just too large for the tree. I look forward to seeing your patio makeover. I'm thinking a screen enclosure to keep out all of those nasty bugs so you can still enjoy the space??

You could always put something in the olive tree pot to raise the tree.

You have a beautiful new home. Your family is so blessed. Watching your video, I think all you needed to do for symmetry would be to place olive trees on both sides of the tv. Can't wait to see what else you do!
LOVE the drapes! Great placement. I think a smaller pot for the olive tree might be better, but love the tree. Also love the new light fixture, but i also like having a fan, but not a ceiling fan. Your little guy is adorable!

I like the last vase you put the olive tree in as it's the same height as the console table so it gives you symmetry that way. I think it would have been better to run a paintable wall mounted curtain rail directly above the sliding doors on that beam and then run the curtains along there that way if you do want to block the sun with the blackout curtains you can use them but you still get the drama and visual softness and luxury effect of the curtains, it's plenty high enough especially if you hang it as high on that beam as you can. I think it looks a little odd to see the short length curtain rods on either side of the bay of sliding doors.
Omg! I thought the same thing, those curtains should be flowing on either side of the glass windows.
As your Houston neighbor, I think your home looks GORGEOUS! I love all the new additions you’ve made! The only thing I would suggest is instead of the lantern, I’d get a large lamp-sort of cement/ceramic base with pleated shade. I think that would be beautiful with the vessels you have on the console table. And ottomans would look stunning to finish it off! Great job! Thank you for sharing another inspirational video! 🤎🪴🛋️💯🏺
It looks great ❤ You actually may have room for a sofa console table and another chair to set on other side of the sofa. Its your choice but you can always study the room, and add or take away if you choose. I always decorate and live with it a day or so..to see how it looks and feels. I like it much better though 😊
I would switch the places of the poof & the basket under your console table so that the height of the blanket in the basket will cover the outlet. If you do eventually switch out what's under the console table - think about opting for larger pieces - whether they be 3 larger baskets or 2 large poufs. I'm sure choosing furnishings & decor for such a large space takes some getting used to as far as proper scale etc. Look forward to what you do next!!

What are your thoughts about adding some bricks or an upside down pot to elevate the tree just a bit? The trunk of the tree looks a little short with the larger vase (please know that I still think it's beautiful the way it's styled now). I realize the logic is for it to be same height as the right side. It's just another idea to play around with. 🤓🥰😉

Love your style! Agree w comment about replacing lantern w a lamp. I would also only place greenery in the larger pot and have the other one empty w a large book or two under it. Hoping your new poofs cover up the outlet. Love how your kids try and help you!

Hi Michelle!!! I need some motivation so going to watch some cleaning and organizing videos tonight. Hubby has to work nights this weekend so I’m using the extra time to get some projects done!!!!! You need to lift the plant up so it is taller in that large pot. Otherwise it looks out of perspective. Just place something inside the pot to raise the tree.

We had to have air movement but my daughter likes bling. We bought fandaliers so we made her happy. The fan blades are clear so they don’t really show up when in use, they retract when off.
