Just love this song! A great video, as well. The "BCR" were such, a multi-talented group, and hansome...as well. Never to be forgotten! XOXO from So. California, USA 2022.
1 year since we lost this gent, sadly missed. This video was him at his best, and the band showing the energy and fun that made them irresistible...along with their cute looks, lush locks and tight trews!
The guys look so young and fresh here, and they are truly enjoying themselves out there. I hope with all my heart that the Rollers are downloading these RUclips videos of themselves and are seeing how much they were loved and how they have a generation of new fans. They were never really appreciated (except by us teens) back in the 70's.
yes totally agree with this. This is a SIZZLING performance and one of my favourites. I was a little too old for Rollermania! but I have got it now! These guys were under appreciated. They were all fabulous and should have lasted much longer but they were all so individually talented that they forgot that the whole was greater than the sum of the parts. Hard to think that a couple have left us when you see a video like this in all their youthful enthusiasm and fun: they really loved their fans and their STAGECRAFT was the best -- never seen anything like it. Watch the concert from the London Weekend Television show just before they went to the States -- totally sizzling and fabulous - I watch some of it every night!! Thank you Rollers for brightening up my life -- keep on rolling!!
@@stuartgreenwood6428 So cool that you saw my msg from 13 years ago !! Wow !! Yes - three of them are gone now. So sad. Alan, Ian, and Les. Breaks my heart !!
What a performance from the Rollers: Sheer fun; total excitement; alive and bursting with energy and enthusiasm. Running out of superlatives here!! Just so great to watch! Regards, Jo.
god, alans dimples still knock me out, what a smile!. brings back a lot of memories. alas, we all had to grow up! but, i like to just pretend that they will always be forever young- even if only on you tube! lonelystreet
Well said 1970sGirl, I too hope the guys know how much they are loved. Even after so many years, even by people who were either too young to remember, or were not even born yet.
Yes, he also sang lead on 'Here comes that feeling again'. When he left Rollers, he did a single called 'I'm Confessing'. Its here under 'Alan Longmuir, I'm Confessing'. He's my fave and will always love him. Did you know recently someone did a BCR play? Alan was there. What a lovely man.
Reading Alan's book at the moment. I loved the Rollers when I was 8/9 years old and that has never changed. No other music really tugs at my heart and makes me feel as melancholy. I am now 49 and still listen. Oh, and I'm a fella that's into heavy metal, alternative, industrial etc :-) RIP Alan.
My God! Eric! he almost fell when he ran out there! i was like oooh oooh! but he didnt fall! then when he was kicking the ballons! very strong! ;-) and Alan has such a diff voice than LES..which is AWESOME!
LOL... isn't it great! Never realized how young they actually were then! Some of them weren't even 20! What a fun time! I am in my 40's and I still love them! :D
Wow, my fave song as it was Alan here on YouTUbe, awesome to see it again after all these years. I've had a thing for the bass ever since my crush on him. Still my fave BCR after all this time Alan. Yay BCRs!
Dear Alan, dreadfully sad news that you have passed away today. Viral infection caught in Mexico....very sad day for Roller fans and his wife Eileen and family. 2.7.2018
Seeing this vid made my day...been a fan of BCR since I saw them do Saturday Night on some show way back in the day. Is it just me, or do you feel young again when you hear their music?? Love you forever guys!!
Wow! Wow! Wow! Shame their friendship didn't last! They performed so well together as a group! So natural! You really notice the difference when Alan left...
@eponine808 Me too, I was in love with him for a long time and went so awful sad when he was kicked off the band. Heard this song over and over, looked at his pictures and cried :) I would have gone crazy if I would have been so lucky to see that video in these days. Its so sweet what you write about him, thank you!
Laughed my ass off watching my little sister growing up with these lads. She isn't Scottish but wore tartan all the time 😂 Not my thing BUT this song is a fkin banger ngl. You made the ladies happy. Kudos for that.
RIP Alan Longmuir.....you and the BCR's brought pleasure to millions....this gem was my favourite!

Your not kidding, I use to like him too! Although, no one can hold a candle to our darling, Derek!!
One of the rare songs where Alan sings lead. And poor Eric almost fell when he ran on stage. Really looked like they were having fun then.
