To really prepare for everything coming to you, you have to know that most shops and vending machines fully Restock when you leave a Jail. So the cycle is do the Palace for more money, get to a checkpoint, leave the palace to replenish HP and SP, and then buy out all areas you have access to, then repeat. It prepares you for bosses if you don't mind only healing 10HP at a time. It'll also help if you upgrade Money, Bond, and Mask Gains first because it adds up over the course of the game
Seeing him playing this makes me wanna go back and actually finish the game I stopped at the 2nd Arc so it'll be fun to start over. Loving the playthrough and can't wait for the P3 RELOAD 🔥🤙
Persona 5 and 4 have some of the best father figures that represent the hierophant card. Word of warning if you ever play persona 4 keep tissues ready, because it has some rip your heart out through your tears, ducks moments.

All the Phantom Thieves have a reputation that could be noted except for Ryuji, maybe Futaba, and Mona You have - The one that went to prison and was falsely Prosecuted. - One that was SA'd by a Gold Medal winner that also abused his entire volleyball team, causing a huge scandal, and she had friend that tried to fly. - The Student of a Reknown Artist which turned out to be making counterfeits of Art and stealing his Students Work. - One of the top preformers in a Highschool, and the Sister of a Well known Prosecutor turned (Defense Lawyer?) - The Daughter of the Boss of WcRonald's who suddenly died on live television.
He did so good for the fight against the lock keeper! I had such a hard time. I can see by his playing that I really didn’t make use of fighting mechanics the way I should have with each character.
I love all of the games for different reasons. 3 FES is my absolute favorite, but it's by a very narrow margin. Best overall story, and has my absolute favorite characters and favorite social link. Plus most challenging gameplay. Reload is excellent too, but I don't think it would be my favorite if I hadn't played FES first. 4 has my favorite songs, and I love the overall vibes. Plus I think they played up the Jungian angle better than any of the other games. 5 has the best plot twists, my favorite antagonist and is the best intro to the series because it grabs your attention immediately, unlike 4 and 3 which are more slow burns. 2 has my favorite protagonist and a crazy storyline. 1 is probably the weakest overall, but still has really fun characters and arguably the most replayability.
5 is definitely a great intro to the series. It was my first Persona game. I wanted to play the others, but never got around to it. 5 made me actually make that happen, and now I've played 3P (It was the only one on Steam, I've been told it's the worst way to experience the story) and 4G. I am currently playing Strikers (Which is why I'm a month late replying to this) and plan on playing Reload, then emulating 1, 2, and 3FES.
So I think your taste in Persona games is all about personality and taste. 3, 4, and 5 are all great and solid. My favorite is 5, with 3 as second, but I know people who adore 4 the most. (I played them in the order 4, 5, 3.) It depends on what you connect to. There is no losing with those games though. Also I'm LOVING Metaphor, but I'll say if you struggled with the systems of P5, it's best to play more Persona and really get it on lock cause Metaphor can be REAL overwhelming in terms of systems and gameplay.
A word of advice. When you reach a specific part of the game, you can Upgrade Personas states. When you reach it, Max out Arsene on everything. He has one of the best combinations of Combo Skills and I think he is the only one that can use Riot Gun in his Combos.
I love p3 I love the story and characters but compared to 4 and 5 I can't put it above them because there are some weak points in the story but i still love p3 so much especially junpei and his story and aigis

POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR CHARACTERS FROM P3/4/5: I don’t think there’s ever been a persona character besides Zenkichi that genuinely never did a “goofy moment”, what I mean is Yosuke’s behaviour towards Kanji, the gang towards Ryuji after Shido’s palace crumbles, Junpei towards women lol, and I know the point if this is that they gain character development to grow afterwards these poor decisions, but man, fuck it. Zenkichi never goofs, he’s like Tanjiro Kamado’s soul, just pure goodness and absolutely impossible to hate. Like genuinely I can list a bad trait that negatively impacts the group dynamic for every other main Persona 3 - 5 character, bur Zenkichi is just built different. Considering Maruki is in my opinion the best written Atlus character (ever), I think Atlus is on an INSANE hot streak with justice craving adults; from Dojima, Sae, Sojiro, Maruki, Zenkichi, Toshiro, there’s no way any adult Metaphor characters will be bad Anyways that’s the obligatory Gramps appreciation 😂
