The church (as an institution) has a couple thousands of years of repentance to do, if you like it or not. It was and still is an evil organisation in a lot of places. Don't believe me? Use Google and do some digging for yourself. That said: Most historians believe that "The pope Joana" did not exist, since there is no real evidence (yet). The lore says she lived around the 11th century so real written evidence is hard to come by especially if people at the time truly tried to erase her from the history books.

This is the best COD campaign of the entire series. The menu, the story, zombies, multiplayer, the characters, just everything about it’s so amazingly well done. This was the peak of the COD Golden Age.

To anyone who's looking for an Alan Wake 2 playthrough to watch and has ended up here: this is a good one. The player knows the lore of the other relevant Remedy games quite well (especially Quantum Break) and pays close attention to the story of this game, often enthusiastically drawing connections between the games. The chat does spoil some things and tries to control the playthrough at some points but it doesn't end up causing much harm to the overall enjoyment of the playthrough. Nothing is rushed through, nothing major is missed. Enjoy!

The lyrics looks like written by Alan Wake (or Alice?), and this song is about their path, and is needed for them to stay stable in the Dark Place, so they would not forget about themselves, like a checkpoint.
