I think of the swing as a dance, when I move to my right foot it's to the inside on the heel with weight transfer back to the inside of the left heel - allowing the hips to turn to maintain the body weight on the inside of my thighs down to my heels..... This gives me the sensation of moving around and under my upper body with the club - I do not feel the contact with the ball only the soft push of the turf as the blade moves through the bottom of the arc ... Of course I see the blade pass through the bottom of the arc and only allow my head to be pushed out of position by my right shoulder on the follow through... Bottom line, keep your weight on your heels... I utilize Mr. Hogan's foot positioning for the different clubs... My power comes from the inside of the thighs and gluts never the arms... Mr. Jones stated the arms should fall at the same rate in a golf swing as they would if you extended them at shoulder height and simply allowed them to drop... Excellent video Sir.........
Great video. My only question is most other videos I have seen tell you NOT to sway. So are they all wrong? They claim it will make you hit more fat shots or top the ball more. I am struggling with this so please help...
You need to move your pressure side to side not sway. Sway is when the hips don't turn and trail hip moves outside trail foot. Also the shifting left earlier helps move the low point forward.
Just so I’m clear…… At waist height, facing the camera, the practice sway was also moving your head and shoulders. I couldn’t tell if this was still the case when you were hitting?
I am trying to swing without thinking too much and the shallowing was one thing I thought about far too much so this really helps - thanks as usual 👍🏼🙏🏌🏼♂️
Great video. The best instruction always leaves me with a sense of the correct 'feeling' rather than a checklist of the correct mechanical moves.
Fantastic video. I love the sway drill. I believe this will work for me.
Great video makes a lot of sense thanks you 👍🏻

I’m wondering how, Ali, you’ve tapped into my lesson bay. Now I see what next in my lessons.
