I’ve lived in New Orleans East since 1983. I’ve seen the transition but trust me it is nowhere near as bad as the media or some people make it out to be. If it was that bad, I would not be there. New Orleans East is no different from any other part of the city. There are Bad/hotspots and they are a lot of good neighborhoods. New Orleans East is a large area, 65% of the city’s land mass to be exact and it gets all lumped into one bag. Think about uptown, New Orleans. They are good and bad areas uptown. The east is no different.

Quick draw drills are essential. Yes, learn your basics like your are hunting, but for defense you need to have an elevated heart rate, and slight confusion. Do a few quick pushups, get up, and try the same routine. Just a thought.
Here in Commie Canada the clerk would have gone to prison for life and the criminals families would have been paid a couple million by our government. I wish I was kidding.

I always practice shooting "off-hand" when ever I can. It's not just a situation that may require you to, but a medical situation can as well. There was a time where my right shoulder was screwed up and in a sling. If I had to protect myself, at that time, there would have been no way to do it, unless I shot off-hand. Thankfully, I never had to, but you never know.

I grew up using firearms and have 20+ NRA and even Army marksmanship awards, then in my late 20's a friend invited me to his range on his property (TJ ..RIP) I felt like a complete novice as he taught me how to shoot while moving, reloading, off hand shooting, one arm drills, even loading each others mags & using dummy rounds to simulate jams & speed reloading. It was an eye opener how hard it was to be proficient while moving yet alone the all the other things I've mentioned. I highly recommend ppl practice these techniques. When you have to use ur personal protection device, it will be fast, LOUD, & extremely violent. Practice like ur life depends on it, bcz someday it may

I love your videos. I am old and was in the Navy. Part of "Guard Force" training was shooting one handed. I protected a ship that was capable of having Nukes. We never knew if they were on the ship or not but were responsible to keep everything safe even if! USCCA if not something I can support. It has already shown that it will be just like an insurance company and will deny coverage. Please go with something else.
