@@bergie012 I'm almost certain she sang and played at the same time, then did some post-production to spruce up the recording. It would only be slightly less difficult to lip-sync and play than it would be to sing and play.

I had a steady diet of Zeppelin when I was about your age (look up the word anachronism and you’ll see you). I appreciate the complexity and unique style of their music more today as I’m nearly 70. I imagine only a few young people could know, much less appreciate them. Fewer people could do justice to their songs. You really nail it. Kudos girl!
You'd be surprised. I'm nearly 60, and a lot of the younger people I work with (remotely) are metal heads, and while Zep wasn't exactly metal, I think they all acknowledge Zep as one of the earliest influences. And a lot of the younger bands playing today wear Zep t-shirts, knowing full well of their legacy of their legacy BTW, have you heard of "The Warning", an up and coming power trio? I love to think that a new generation of young fans can appreciate music made long before they were born. I’m hard pressed to think of a band of today who’s work will play fifty years on. I am impressed. I’m almost 60 years old and a lover of most music. I was the youngest child in my family and was lucky enough to have older siblings that turned me on to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and many others from the early 70”s.
You nailed this song and it’s obvious why. You are not only talented but you feel it in your soul and let it flow through you.

This song is hard enough to play or sing individually, to do both so well at the same time is really impressing

Especially hard to play in the odd tuning that Page used. I’ve tried it in standard tuning and it never sounded right. Now I know why her’s sounded exactly right, note for note. Such an amazing cover of one of my favorite Zeppelin songs.

Discovered this yesterday, what a sensational version, it just gets better with every watch.
This is one of the best covers I've seen anyone do, of any song. Every note was perfect on the guitar, and your vocals have such depth. I've been playing for over 25 years and couldn't pull off a more perfect rendition of this song. Shockingly good.

After listening to many covers of "The Rain Song", my opinion is this version is the cleanist, sweetist, most calming of all. Your playing, the timbre of your guitar, your soft, sultry voice all combine to make a most beautiful few minutes of listening pleasure. And when it comes to the "payoff", you deliver it with gusto, clean and powerful.

In my teens, Led Zeppelin was probably the most important thing in the world to me. I’ve heard these songs hundreds of times and they mean so much to me and so many others. I also love to see someone play songs exactly like they were recorded, so this was a double treat for me. Truly, what a great job you did. Bravo!

This is literally the best possible solo guitar and voice arrangement of this song and you made it look effortless. I've been playing my own arrangement for like 20 years and this made me pick up my guitar right away so I could cop some parts ;) Beautifully done, one of the best covers I've ever heard.

Courtesy of my older brother, I've loved Led Zep for almost as long as I've been alive. The Rain Song is perhaps my favorite and each time I hear it it brings me back to such a great and yet poignantly sad part of my life. Your rendition is beautiful. Thank you for this true gem of a song.
I'm 67 and am so happy to see a young person put so much love into the old sound. This is such a complicated piece to play and you do it great while at the same doing the most soulful singing. You are true to the spirit of the original while also filling it with your own unique essence. Wonderful!

I am an old guy that grew up on Zeppelin and it warms my heart that young people today still feel the magic in their songs. I have an unopened copy of every album that they put out for my kids to fight over when I'm gone. The Rain Song has always been one of my favorites. Thanks for such a special cover.
