The boys getting together and writing a letter to ask if the team could bring along their former headmaster just goes on to show how much impact Dave has had on those boys when they were in school❤
Honestly goes to show what having a positive impact in your school system can do for some kids too.. I feel like 99% of us disliked “most” of the staff in our school systems.. the ones who really care are the ones you always remember and Dave certainly cares/cared for these guys!

Headmaster Dave is exactly the kind of headmaster that all schools should have. He seems wonderful, and clearly cares a lot about all the boys that go through his school. That's amazing.
People like Dave are what we need in the education system, to be honest. For the boys to get together and write that letter, asking if he could come along as well shows the impact he's had on them during their school days. You'll always remember figures in your formative years like that.

Joel behind the camera forgetting English was hilarious. I also loved the brief little snips of the boys making friends with the other new military trainees. Seeing the incredible relationship they have with Headmaster Dave is amazing. I have never had a teacher like that. What a wonderful thing for them to be able to share.
Iove that you could see the smile and excitement in his eyes but that he still held firm in standing still. He took their directions seriously which shows discipline of character
My heart nearly popped when they said the boys wrote a letter asking to bring the Headmaster as well. I think it really shows how Mr. Smith is respected by his students present and past. He has made an impact on their lives. This special dinner was well deserved!
It's no wonder how these boys turned into fabulous young men. Just listen to how their headmaster speaks of them. He accepted nothing less than excellence from them and his pride in them is genuine. We'd all be lucky to have him as our role model.
4:01 This is literally so wholesome you can really see how Dave was touched by the words of Ollie when he heard that the boys wanted to see him again. It really shows how much the boys love and appreciate their former headmaster and their faces when they saw Dave I can't 😭😂
Headmaster Smith was such a beautiful and necessary addition to this series. He was a huge part in guiding and being with these wonderful boys until they turned into young men. That man has made a positive impact on those young men in the best way and that just makes me feel good that having Headmaster Dave there would be a good confidence boost to those young men. Wonderful episode guys! I love it and I'm looking forward to more! Peace! ☮
Mr. Smith is the best! The fact that he was so elated about the Coke sponsorship! The fact that the boys wanted him and begged for him to be there it really shows what kind of relationship they had with him and what kind of man he is.
4:01 The sweetest thing ever ❤ You can see how touched Mr. Smith was to learn about this. To think that they took the time & effort to formally put in their request in a letter is just amazing & for me also unexpected. Hats off to the guys! A bit curious though as to what was said in the letter. Maybe you could have them read the letter in front of Mr. Smith in an upcoming video.
Josh's "sarangheyo" and little heart to the chef was absolutely hilarious and so cute - no matter how many times he's had incredible food from all over the world, the way he still get excited and retains this child-like happiness is so sweet. I'm vegetarian so the food is why I watch these videos but for the people, their reactions and seeing relationships deepen with each vid! Thank you for sharing these wonderful moments!
Its great that even after years of bidding farewell to Fulham, the impact of Mr. Smith in the young men's lives is so evident not only with how much grace they had become into as men but also with the way they actually teamed up to pen that letter and convince the crew to bring him there. It could be for more than one reason but i'm pretty sure one of them is how much support and comfort they get from Mr. Smith's presence alone and how they know deep in their hearts that having him there would really change something with how they will deal with all that they have to go through. It's just so touching to see that even parting ways with their alumni school, they can never leave Mr. Smith in the picture when they do something big as this.
He is so special. Like a young child that loves everyone and fears nothing. I hope that his future life experiences don't take the wonderment of himself away from him.

This was a heartwarming episode. Watching the boys go through their military training is cool and all, but to see the interaction with Ollie, Joel, Grace, and Dave again just brings back that old-school Korean Englishman vibe. Great stuff as usual. The food made my mouth water, too. 😆 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
Love this little ‘tangent’/branched timeline/side quest of the series! We just knew that they’d have to treat Dave and we finally got to see it I just wonder what the boys were up to while they were filming this 🧐
I like how Dave is a professional in so many ways but he’s also so human and relatable. The boys turned out similarly and us viewers have the pleasure of watching our boys grow…except Dave ain’t growing, he’s a lean machine right now!
I'm tearing up. The boys are super sweet, well mannered and lovely. Mr Smith is a great teacher too. This is what our children need to be and what kind of environment they should live in. Respect to the parents, teacher, Josh, Ollie and team❤❤❤
I'd also like to say that it's nice to see the friendships that Josh and Ollie and the crew have with each other. Not to mention guests like Headmaster Dave. Y'all are my fave youtube channel, by far!
Having a great headmaster or year group coordinator seriously makes a difference to students lives and David is a perfect representation of that. So much respect to him.
A great teachers impact on your life cannot be measured, and the esteem these boys have for Dave is lovely, and he deserves this. They will always remember how he helped shape their lives.❤❤
for those who don’t know we in the south in America like to take Coca-Cola and put it in our barbecue sauce. Also, you can pour over a ham while it’s baking in the oven and it starts to turn into a thick syrup and you just keep spooning it back over the ham. But of course, we like to add brown sugar to our Coca-Cola mix. Lots of black pepper. So good.
Couldn’t have a episode with our favourite British boys without including our favourite British headmaster! And it just feels right to see him get his own special episode!
Love everything about this and good men assisting in the future of good men... Your impact is not just fun to vicariously live through but witness real life growth! We need more men like y'all! Thank you!
Mr. Smith is such a kind, lovely person. The chef seems very kind as well. And Grace, if you're reading this, the classical music adds so much to the videos, you are so appreciated 💕
The British military played a significant role in the Korean War (1950-1953) as part of the United Nations forces that intervened to support South Korea after North Korea invaded in June 1950. The British Army, Royal Navy, and Royal Air Force contributed forces to the conflict. The British Army's 27th Infantry Brigade was one of the first units to be deployed to Korea, and it fought in several key battles, including the Battle of the Imjin River in April 1951, where British forces faced overwhelming Chinese attacks but managed to hold their positions before eventually withdrawing. The British Army also participated in the Battle of Haktang-ni and the Battle of the Hook, among others. The Royal Navy provided naval support, including naval gunfire support and patrols off the Korean coast. The Royal Air Force contributed fighter aircraft, bombers, and other aircraft to the conflict, conducting airstrikes and providing air support to ground forces. Overall, the British forces in Korea performed well and made significant contributions to the UN effort to repel the North Korean and Chinese forces. The Korean War ended in 1953 with an armistice that established the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) along the 38th parallel, effectively maintaining the division between North and South Korea that persists to this day.
The most famous battle fought by British Commonwealth forces in Korea was the *Battle of the Imjin River* in April of 1951. A British Army brigade defended the western flank of the UN forces against a powerful Chinese offensive. The British fought bravely, especially the Gloucestershire Regiment which continued fighting even after they suffered heavy casualties and became isolated. The Gloucestershire Regiment lost over 600 men and its commander was taken prisoner, but they delayed the Chinese offensive. They are credited for plugging a hole in the UN defenses that could have lead to a collapse of an entire army corps and the loss of Seoul. I highly recommend researching the ‘Glorious Glosters’, I feel like the British contribution in the Korean War gets forgotten about unfortunately.
I am so glad that a place was found for Dave Smith in this series. When I was a kid more than 50 years ago, I had a cool principal like him like Reverend Chris, he is just a great personality.
This series makes my heart full ❤ I have second hand -embarassment- _joy_ hearing about how the boys got together to write a letter. What you do is so special. I love seeing Joel again, too!
What’s so wonderful about what they are doing is that every, EVERY series they do makes you feel this way. Just smiling and laughing and happy from beginning to end. Can never truly express how much these improve my mood and my outlook on life.
Truly an educator in the best British tradition of Mr. Chips. The effect you've had on these young men's lives is something I wish everyone in the world could experience.
Yayyyy!!! A Dave-centric episode!! I love love love that you guys brought the headmaster back! It's so sweet of the boys to ask you guys to bring him along and a real testament to Dave as a person. Very insightful too. I think this will be a very valuable experience for them. Dave is only 4 years older than me but he seems very much a proper adult and his maturity is nice to see. A lot of my peers nowaways are still lightyears away from this. I suppose that's why he's headmaster. I enjoyed this episode! Cant wait for the next one! And that meal was to die for 🤤

Seeing the clip of the boys interacting with the Korean recruits eased my tension a bit! And this video helped too. The last vid was really intense and I know it’s going to get harder for them, but I feel better seeing that they have good moments too!
Dave is just so wholesome. I’ve had headteachers who haven’t been the nicest but you can just tell Dave truly cares and is passionate about his work. His school is lucky to have him. I’d love to see him more on the channels- he is a breath of fresh air 👏🤍

Mr Headmaster's glow up needs to be studied.
I second that!
Agree!
I'm so glad he got to go
every school needs that kinda influence at the top shining down on others to succeed

4:01 Dave wins at life! That cements that he did really great at his profession. Molding the boys life giving them a great childhood/school life.
A great man legacy is told in the lives he’s impacted or improved. What an absolutely lovely group of young men.

mr smith was so touched hearing that the boys themselves asked for him to be there aww, it almost made me cry too. the little sneak peeks of the boys bonding with the other korean soldiers are also super adorable, especially look at harvey. thats so precious :")
Mr. smith has significantly lost so much weight and looks fitter than we saw him earlier. Keep it up Mr Smith hope you stick to this healthy side of life 😇.
You deserve the love. 😊
I love it when a Korean Englishman drops new episodes out of nowhere. Headmaster Dave Smith was a much-needed inspiration and encouragement to the boys. What a heartwarming episode!

we all need a teacher or friend like Mr Smith..absolute legend..great sense of humour and a heart of gold...
I agree! everyone needs a teacher like mr smith! I was one of those ppl who was fortunate enough to have a teacher like this in my school days. She truly is the one teacher who's influenced me and taught me more than most did in just 2 years. I still chat with her now and again (12 years later) 😂😂
Yes! Plus he has perfected the dad laugh to the T.😅
Dave’s humor is top tier. He’s so quick witted, sweet and absolutely adorable
I really enjoy seeing the headmaster Dave, in any of your clips. He is so jolly and loves the boys. Great guy.
What an amazing tribute to an educator! I can't imagine leaving home to go to school, but my mom would have LOVED you. I kinda love you.

harvey hugging one of the other korean trainees is so cute
This brought a tear to my eyes!!! So beautiful to see what an enormous impact Headmaster Smith has made on their lives.
The boys writing to get the headmaster to come along too 😭😭
I can’t get over how young Dave is for the amount of responsibility he carries! So much respect for him!!
We just knew that they’d have to treat Dave and we finally got to see it
I just wonder what the boys were up to while they were filming this 🧐
I like how Dave is a professional in so many ways but he’s also so human and relatable.
Didn't think the intricacies of this series would be any more difficult, but he filmed a hidden episode during the trip. The team really worked hard.
This may be one of my favorite KE videos, Mr. Smith is just outstanding!
Ollie wearing an A24 t-shirt is gives me such joy!! I hope someday he will be able to get a project with them!!
This series keeps getting better!!
Teary eyed when ollie said the boys wrote a letter to bring mr. Smith back with them 😭 awwe
Glad he got his own experience before boot camp. Such an inspirational teacher and molder of young men. The boys and the school are lucky to have him!
Those boys really love Dave to have gotten together and basically petition to bring him along. You know he's an amazing teacher and model for them.
I have always been such a fan of Dave! He seems so down to earth and it is so apparent the impact he has on his students.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Mr. Smith! He is SUCH a delight! Great that he's beack with his young men. They are all a true national treasure.
12:23 josh bursting “ i love you “ to the chef hahaha that’s hilarious 😂
A great teachers impact on your life cannot be measured, and the esteem these boys have for Dave is lovely, and he deserves this. They will always remember how he helped shape their lives.❤❤
David is literally the perfect guy to have in a video sponsored by Coke lol
I have accepted that I will cry every episode cos something heartwarming will happen.
Well done Mr Smith!
for those who don’t know we in the south in America like to take Coca-Cola and put it in our barbecue sauce. Also, you can pour over a ham while it’s baking in the oven and it starts to turn into a thick syrup and you just keep spooning it back over the ham. But of course, we like to add brown sugar to our Coca-Cola mix. Lots of black pepper. So good.
If so you can try to cook it with chicken wings too. We chinese loves cola chicken wings so much as it is so simple to make😊
Never tried that, I bet it’s delicious too!
Coke has stuff you need for marinating already in it so it makes a good substitute.
In the philippines, we use sprite to substitute lemon since lemon is not that accessible in most rural areas.
Couldn’t have a episode with our favourite British boys without including our favourite British headmaster! And it just feels right to see him get his own special episode!
This episode was more British headmaster mukbanng than surprising any boys.
@@jessicaregina1956 sorry I was referring to the previous episode
It's so good to see a Mr. Smith episode. He's been a big part of the boys' lives.
Josh saying saranghaeyo 사랑해요 to the chef and giggling happily seeing the floor is such an wholesome moment
This series makes my heart full ❤
I have second hand -embarassment- _joy_ hearing about how the boys got together to write a letter. What you do is so special. I love seeing Joel again, too!
What’s so wonderful about what they are doing is that every, EVERY series they do makes you feel this way. Just smiling and laughing and happy from beginning to end. Can never truly express how much these improve my mood and my outlook on life.
all the korean PDs rushing in to try the rameon and not the meat proves that they really are korean LOL

Truly an educator in the best British tradition of Mr. Chips. The effect you've had on these young men's lives is something I wish everyone in the world could experience.
I love Dave! Always enjoy when hes a guest. And I can tell why the noys love him so much! Seems like a really good dude.
2:37 Mr Smith's signature laugh! Don't ever change! 😅
