Kevin you should definitely make shirts with those transfers. At least a small batch of 50-100 and see how they do. Even better if you could find some vintage blanks for them.

I think sales are slow at the end of January, because people are getting their credit card bills from Christmas. Added to fact people are getting ready to do taxes aren't sure about the amount they may have to pay. Love your videos on all of your channels.
I bought a bunch of plush from Dave a while back and was amused by the large amount of loose bubble wrap in the box.

And the commercial at the end of the pod for me was Grainger! I buy all my golf boxes there. Cheapest I could find and decent quality. 4/4/48 for 1.75 each. But you have to have a local store to pick them up because shipping is expensive. I also buy 4/4/38 and 6/6/48 for clubs.
In December I decided to do an experiment and removed everything off promoted and I had about the same amount of sales I always do for December and January. Maybe it’s what we sell and promoting isn’t as helpful in those categories, but for now our promotions are off.
Y'all need to go your local mechanic or collision center and ask if you can get there boxes they pay to throw away plus all the bubble wrap, never paid for bubble wrap or boxes. Been reselling now for say 5 years on the side, getting about 4-5 sales not promoting any of my listings.

If you have not already noticed, the eBay app has been updated with some changes. I noticed that my sales were down for a couple of days prior, and my guess is the update was messing with the sales through the app. Just my opinion.
I've promoted everything at 3.2% for a couple of years, I also pass my shipping discount on to buyers. I have had more sales in January than I did in November or December.
I order my larger size boxes from Grainger and pick them up. I didn't care for the quality of their smaller boxes (6x6x6) so I order those from WalMart (free shipping!!!)
I loved the songs at the end of the last episode - Paul's merch still randomly plays in my head lol.

As a life long Lions fan, it was hard to relive the game during the first part of the podcast! Overall, they had a great year, but it sure would have been awesome to see them go to the Superbowl

Listening while working. Very amusing overall but then I heard the expression "Watch out for the Bear Mafia" - yep that was a howl. Carys zingers!
I promote 3-5% on everything. We had a great weekend of sales. The last 24 hours have been slow.
But overall, our sales are down about 12% from last January, which was a really great month for us.
Maybe Kevin was a bit nervous in anticipation of a swinger event later that evening?
My EBay sales dropped off 25% since Jan1. I only promote ( very little) higher end items.
218 listings and maybe five are promoted. Majority of my sales are buy it now.
I may have 20 to 30 auction formats running. That’s only because it’s stuff that people typically will bid on.
I still keep trying to list 5 to 10 day. I’m not gonna complain though with money still coming in.
The song was awesome laughed a good “belly!laughed”. Definitely worth the time.
I get boxes at Grainger. I have one 20 minutes from my house. You have to buy 10-25 at a time depending on the size, but the prices are like $0.20-$1.75 depending on the size of the box.
I also have a local American Bubble Boy warehouse 30 minutes away, so I get bubble wrap WAYYYY cheaper than shipped.
I also invested in an air pillow maker super early on, and that saves a bundle not using as much bubble wrap.

I lost money on one sale when shipping to conn. I charged 7.10 shipping for small package and it cost me 17.85. But shipping mostly evens out, I guess at all shipping works for me.
Webster is a great flea Market. If you go all the way to the back there are wholesale lot where you can buy in bulk. In the summer you have to be an early bird because almost everyone goes home at noon. Dave when you go back can you please see if they have the wholesale lot.
One thing that confuses me regarding shipping calculated versus flat rate is that I hear if you use calculated buyers will get overcharged but based on my own experience using calculated my buyers only get overcharged about a dollar or two. That is because I use what I call a flat weight.That helps me to offset the cost of shipping supplies. The only thing I can think of as to why buyers would get overcharged is because of the dimensions. I remember watching a video from jride a little while ago and he flashed the dimensions that he inputted on screen and it was way off based on the size of the item. I know you have to account for the box and packaging but It was 5 inches in each direction. That instance yes I can see that a flat rate would save a buyer but if you live in Florida then you have to ship across the country the seller could end up losing. I don't like losing and I've been doing this for 25 years now this year.

You might want to check what a Ground Advantage 12x12x12 package costs compared to 8x8x8. Then look at price for these boxes on priority.

I think Kevin would be an Elf. How old is he? No one knows except that it is much older than you think. I could see Cary as the Barbarian except for an unexpected 14 Intelligence score that he doesn't play up.
I either download this on RUclips and listen to it or on my generic podcast app. Doesn't matter to me which way I listen to it so does it help you all more having views on RUclips or downloads in a podcast app?

I pulled my store down weeks ago to completely relist my items with updating pricing ,shipping and any corrections they may have needed. Took me a few days and when I relisted I didn’t promote everything. But I started selling like crazy. Maybe two things were from promoted. So I decided to turn off all promoting and see how that works. Sales slowed. So I went back and promoted everything. Currently I have all listings promoted, prices reduced and free shipping and my store is DEAD. Nothing in almost a week. So I don’t think it matters promoted, shipping, price. Things just aren’t selling.
Just a thought but have you guys considered extending the podcast to 2 hours? Kat and Rod do 2 hours plus on their podcast and I definitely enjoy it. Seems just right. ✌

That is the problem with most channels really.
Dave and Cary are like punch drunk teenagers when together. Dave just said he was spending too much money on stuff when with he went to the flea market with Cary. Watching it was almost like seeing a train wreck in action, except Dave would make some money on each buy, though maybe not a lot. Dave and Cary really look.like teenagers!

I promote high and sales have died the last week.
Kevin has to much money invested in his property to move, be very hard.
Problem is most HOA's aren't going to allow 5 sheds and a giant trailer so he would still have to move rural.
