We did the Black Friday sale with a storewide of 10% on hubby's store and 15% on mine. We moved so much product, we decided to do a "Christmas Blowout" sale of 10% off both store through the 12/10. We now have extended through the end of the month. Moving out a lot of inventory and still moving it. 9 days in and already at 141 sales and counting. Everything is worth money, however, it's only worth what someone is willing to pay! ;)
Hard to believe even myself but we are 6 days into December and I have already reached my sales total from December last year. Yes I have more listed than last year but not double. I do agree overall sales are down on some categories on eBay but if you find items that people want they will sell. If people want to quit let them it will just allow for more growth for the people who stick it out once the economy goes back up. It will not say down forever.
Year to date my sales are higher this year than last year. But my fourth-quarter last year was much better than it is this year. Now that being said, I think it’s more that I haven’t had the time to put into listing and I have some older items that I need to tweak the prices on. And I’m lazy so I just put them on sale instead and it does seem like delisting and relisting is the better way to go. Now, when I do list the newer items do tend to sell. I think some people just get in a habit of buying the same old things, and in this economy you have to pivot good luck everybody
I'm not a reseller, but a seller selling my own baseball card and coin collections. After a couple of years of listings, I have noticed that collectibles really slow down over the holidays. The last quarter is way slower than the others. It makes sense as that money goes towards holiday related spending. Sports cards and collector coins are not big gift items. But after the new year things pick back up and return to normal. I'm sure other categories are affected as well. Cheers!
Compared to the amount of listings on my main store i am up this year even though medical issues have sidelined me quite a bit for the last month and 1/2. This had me on vacation mode for several weeks and am just able to start getting around enough to be able to list. You always want better sales, but should be happy for those that you get.
After watching you, Dave, Rod, Matt n Kayla for 2 years I started sourcing in the Spring and started selling on eBay early this fall..my Sales have by far exceeded my expectations!! Tho I did my homework and prepared immensely I still could not fathom such immediate success! My biggest problem for the foreseeable future is SOURCING..I'm in KY but super rural KY.. thanks to y'all tho I'm enjoying every minute of it!!! Your an inspiration!! I'm a1977 guy too and loved the Goonies and everything 80s n 90s nostalgia!
It's not eBay, it's sellers putting up low sell through rate items priced wrong, in huge stores. Right before q4 I cleared out all my low sell through rate item mistakes to make my store look better for the algorithm. I have been listing only good sell through rate items and I've been in reseller nirvana since September with around 250 items. Last month was my best ever, $6k profit, Net not gross, as a part time seller listing 10/day.
The biggest difference I have noticed is that most of my sales come from accepting best offer. Prior years more sales came from purchases at my asking price. I would be doing terrible right now if I did not accept best offers!
My sales have been going up steadily the last 4 months. I added promoted to part of my store at 2.3 percent, I try and take good pics and list several a week. I also cleared out some old items. Just PT but things are looking up. (Definitely not making enough to live off of but nice but if extra income)
I had a great oct-nov my store seems to die after Black Friday and wakes back up in January. I’m trying to buck that trend by listing more and it’s helping some. I have one multi quantity that gives me consistent sales but it’s a low price. It’s old nascar patches I got two packages of them from an old boss for free and they are 100 to a package. They took time to find a price that worked for them but they do go out the door regularly.
Maybe compare promoted listings. It gets too expensive so I’ve cut back and my stuff just sits, but it sells on other platforms. It depends on what you’re selling.
Small time stamp seller here. When I went from 50 to 250 items my traffic, page views and sales were steadily increasing. Now I'm at 300 or so items and everything is down about 30 percent.
A problem I had with ebay is after selling a few items I was informed it would be 10 days before being paid. Also even if the sales were as is the buyer had to be happy with the purchase first. I ended up canceling the sales.
Month on month, November is up 30%. compared to last year we are up 15'%. It's dificult to make comparisons over longer periods as so much changes: type and volume of inventory stocked, time and effort committed (some periods I have been fulltime, others just the odd hour here and there) and a hundred and one other variables. Looking at this year, I'd say the trend has been steadily, if undramatically upward after a terrible period in to early spring. April/May was the worst period for sales in 20+ years on eBay. UPDATE: December has seen another 50% month on month increase with annual like for like sales up 30%.
The other ways to get sales moving is to make sure you’re selling on other platforms. Example I just listed an item that was on eBay for over a year to Mercari and it sold within two weeks. There are different types of customers on different types of platforms.
I agree. I was considering moving to just eBay to save on some of the cross posting costs but when I reviewed my numbers, I was surprised that eBay was number 3. I like eBay so I won’t leave it. Or my two better selling platforms.
Maybe surprise Marilyn with a Christmas card from the family and include a gift card with it? As much as you love surprises, I bet she would too!! Happy Holidays, Robin
My q4 is off the chain busy. But I source and sell a ton of Christmas and start running sales with the week before black Friday weekend thru Jan 1 and I rotate what's on sale
I think there are a lot of factors going on. The economy is part of the problem. Everyone is looking for a deal. I believe it also depends on what you sell. Last year was my first full year of selling on eBay as a top seller. My sales for this quarter over last year is up 57.2%. I am 47.9% up on quantity sold. Looking at my last quarter I am up 19.3% as well. So for me what changed was the items I am sourcing and the frequency of listing. I have a little over 1000 items in my store and I am turning my inventory about 48%. So, for me eBay is not dead. I am also learning more all the time about what sells best for me. I am also starting to pull down items and make bundles so they are over $15 minimum. The goal by next year is to not list anything that isn’t over $15 at least. Great subject again and one that needs to be talked about!
The issue lies in shipping costs for items under $15.00 exploded in past 3 years. It's tough for someone to spend 8.00 on an item that costs 8.00 to ship when it use to be 3.00. Its just mental for the buyer and sellers have given up because 1099 headaches and bad experiences for sellers. I know one seller who use to do 150k a year quit and only sales at antique/flea mall booths.
@stevenhaffley9852 Gross or net? Big difference. 1/100th the effort I highly doubt that unless you are selling 25k high end items. One dude told me he did over 500k a year he did as revenue but his net was around 50k because his spreads were high. The 1099 deals with taxes meaning some sellers do this part time and do less than 20k a year as a hobby but now have to deal with taxes.
@don951 There are a lot of people who collected cards in their lives as a hobby that now decided to sell their collection off. They were never flippers or in business.
@@JohnnyLightningV10 Yep. I'm one of them. I did not buy just to resell. I am selling my own personal property. So, in that case you would not be a business, but any profit would be considered a capital gain.
@don951 Yep and they record it as such but when they sell off a collection worth 20k plus the IRS puts them in the cross airs of them potentially defending it as capital gains as a hobby. That's why they stopped using eBay in the fear of this given reason of a nightmare scenario of IRS trying to deem it as a business. Kind of hard to show receipts of cards you have owned since you were a kid now in 40s selling off. Plus you never really kept the costs of all those boxes and packs you spent growing up to pull cards.
I have a problem with ebay what do I do. I sold some things & they were late getting to the people who bought my Items Ebay gave back there money & they got to keep the Item as well when I gave them their tracking number it didn't matter how do I go in getting my money back
Proper titles are KEY! I have items I'm looking for and they are there, but not enough info or too generic makes it 100% impossible to find. 10 dollars here, ten dollars there is stupid to lose. If you list a photo as " ABC television program" please add date, actors or show title. With EBAY search limits, I ain't gonna find it. Looking at 8,000 out of order photos is not good use of my day. As I always say, A good item does not sell itself.
My sales are double what they were last year, but last year was my start up year. I have experienced steady growth, but also have found sourcing opportunities where I have been able to find and buy better inventory.
My wife and I are new to the game. Decided to give the resell route on Ebay a try as a side hustle in October, maybe growing it into a multi platform business. The majority of what we have been sourcing is items we already had. I'm a long time collector of video games, comics, cards, and tabletop games including RPG style. A lot has been hit or miss, I think. The right person at the right time. I'm not discounting how crappy the economy has been. There is a concept out there that people are "death spending" because of economic struggles.
My sales up from last year overall the charity of my choice would be Shriners Hospital I have a soft heart of them because I was a Shriners kid I wouldn't be where I am now without them am I great parents that I got blessed with
Hi there is a glitch on my pro listed items I have massive fees . They are looking into it I had to end all items ! Grrr crazy I think yes they let the drop shippers sell soo they are much lower than last year majority dying I think. Time for another marketplace or somewhere else to sell!
My sales on all platforms are down. I have thousands of items listed online.list daily.Source weekly . I am blaming it on shipping. My biggest complaint by buyers
Positive business advocates may blame individuals Individuals may blame situations and businesses . The reality is - - there are internal and exturnal situations and plenty of possible reasons for them. Economy will affect a seller. Ebay will affect a seller. The seller will affect themselves.
A title is a title, and a picture is a picture. Has nothing to do with sale or no sale. Ebay only allows top sellers' sales to be seen, and other peoples ads are hidden.
WHen I still sold. most of my items were small and light weight , but I can see postage/shipping costs killing lower value sales. They did a lot of mine in, and it's only getting worse. The buyer sees the price double on his end with shipping added and the seller is paying even higher fees based on said shipping, even though the seller doesn't actually get a dime of that money. No point in selling the inexpensive stuff any more, you can end up going backward if you're not careful, and the more expensive items for me weren't moving. No wonder even some of those who can handle the tax forms are bailing.
Regarding selling on eBay I believe the more seasoned sellers that are willing to adapt to changes are doing well. Are my items selling for what they were selling for a few years ago absolutely not and what was probably working a few years ago will probably not work right now. I look at it like the TV show deadliest catch We have to hunt down those king crab and every season it seems like they are in different location. The buyers are out there we just have to know how to go get them. Usually that comes with experience and those that are sharing their experience on RUclips can help those new people.
My numbers are down 4.2% from Oct 1-Dec4th (we went on vacation for 2 weeks in October so that is probably a factor), however they are up 4.6% from Jan 1-Dec 4th. I am happy with my sales. Been doing this for over 20 years and ebay has always been up and down. There has always been "the sky is falling" statements on ebay and always will be. I just keep trucking along, listing and sourcing.
100% been reselling full time for 25 years started in 98' on eBay amazon and yahoo auctions like you said EBay has always been a roller coaster those that say it has been steady and this up and down is like nothing they have ever seen obviously have not been doing this full time or were living in there own bubble as you say you look at the over all not day to day and as long as your still making profit you just truck along! and making diversification the center of your business if you do this diversify where you sell, what you sell, were you source and your price points at what you list at (low medium and high) you will always be afloat diversification will never let you down (it may be a little work but once you do it in repetition it becomes very easy)
@@bennystratton7734 absolutely 💯 it makes me laugh every year when people go nuts over the eBay updates (sky is falling mentality). Been doing this way before you tube and it has always been this way!
My sales are off and the haggling has definitely increased even on items that don't have make offer feature... I not a fan of the sponsored/promoted item feature on eBay, I can't afford to pay almost a double percentage to eBay and continue to absorb higher shipping costs and be able to sell for a decent amount. USPS shipping delays and damages and higher costs is hurting me as well. eBay definitely isn't dying its a win win for eBay, sellers on eBay are getting hurt from all the fees and increased shipping costs.
To answer a couple of your questions, eBay is choosing to die by screwing with their selling platform while the economy is also dying. Some of it is my fault because I believe I’m contributing to my lack of sales by screwing with my little piece of eBay’s platform while the economy is dying trying to combat whatever eBay is doing and my sales are about 40% lower than Q4 of last year, 50% lower than the last 30 days and I’m adding more inventory and working three times as hard trying to bring them up as I have at any point in the past.
I sent out some ornaments for the animal charity. I am a glassblower and thought they would help with the cause. Love the content! Going to start a channel for my Chinnzer ebay store. You guys are encouraging! Have a great day!
Sale for the month over September 2023 vs September 2022 are almost exactly 50% less funds and individual sales, that being said I also have about 400 more listings this year vs last year, not good.
I've learned not to base my prices solely on other listings after clicking on them and seeing people leave their keywords and tags out, barely typing descriptions, etc, like, a lightbulb went off 'I can price mine higher than theirs and sell mine faster'
*great vid once again Kevin.... to be honest... I can say that I am having my best ever sales in my 20+ years on ebay... ebay is NOT dying... I built up a customer base that is very loyal... and new customers do seem to find me on a somewhat regular basis... but I sell alot of 16mm movie film... so I do understand that is not the common ebay audience... but my comics are moving and my posters are moving, records are moving, books, VHS, t-shirts, license plates, etc... I am very pleased with how ebay is going right now... I hope others find their mojo like I seemed to... and the secret... consistent listing.... preferably new items... you just can't relist all the time... you MUST have new items to show... or in the least... rotate and not let things stay dormant too long ... hope this helps.... God Bless*
I had the best sale date in a year on Sunday. Then yesterday I had one person who kept sending unreasonable lowball offers on items that I just blocked
Lowball offers was the theme for my weekend 😂 Overall had a good weekend on Ebay. I just keep countering back and if it gets ridiculous I will block them as you stated. Cheers friend.
Kevin - you've never done winter golf? When the fairways are covered with ice, your drive goes 300 yards - you'll feel like Tiger Woods. All you need is a hammer in your bag to pound the tee into the frozen ground.
When my daughter was young she had an ESSO pillow that she loved. She left it at a hotel in Ohio and was devastated. We made calls and they sent it back. Yippee! I did a search on EBay and sure enough found one just like it. I’m waiting for delivery and plan it as a surprise Christmas gift. I love eBay.
I tend to take a d few things into perspective when I price my listings I look at active listings and sold listings I try to price my items middle of the road for most items sold. But some items I see listed maybe priced higher than average solds IE if I see two items used in rough shape sold for $20 but but only three are listed in similar condition for $35 and mine might be in better shape than the solds and have no and paperwork I may just list mine at $35 or $40 with best offer on and take my chances. Sometimes it works sometimes it’s doesn’t and after a while I drop the price back down. Honestly I really think condition plays as much of a part as the item itself self.
For me Sept and Oct were great but my Nov Sales Dropped by half (but i mainly sell comics and can be a specialty item on ebay) but its picking up now in Dec its alot like a rollacoster for me on sales at the min, also as i mainly sell comics and books i Scan (Photo scanner over Photos) the Frount Cover a Page and Back Cover (and any Damage if any) as offers better images but thats just me
The number of sales have increased for me but the amount being spent has decreased. eBay's income would increase with all the $$ they're making from promoted listings. If I was willing to give them more of my money through promoted listings I might be selling more but I'm not 😉
between the increased fees on eBay and shipping costs, I can't afford to pay extra for the promoted listings... my personal opinion the promoted listing option is hurting eBay sellers although its a win win for eBay.
global transactionalism not dead. it’s just sold out. i’m not a seller. i’m a buyer. customer service is shite. sold out as usual. shame used to be lots of fun both ways. really, was fun. now? zero customer service. i dont do social media. but if i were you i’d go down that route.
My year to date sales are up 38.7% compared to last year I changed how I get my inventory with a higher rate of return. I also focus on listing daily and not focus on daily sales. I just looked my December sales are up 11.3% more than last December.
My sales are slightly higher YOY. I am only in my 3rd year selling part time. But, I just got a lot of high value fast selling items. I am optimistic to end out the year with a decent YOY gain. Happy Holidays!!!
Sales have been up all year. November really surprised me. Historically, November and December have not been my best. Does account health have an impact on item placement in search? This morning I received an "apology" letter from ebay. A customer service representative messed up a return that I need clarification on. She opened a case without my or the buyers knowledge. This made a mess out of simple return. Yesterday, I noticed a defect. "Case closed without seller resolution" This was false so I made an appeal, and it will be removed. In the letter explaining the removal, were the words, "the defect will no longer affect your selling performance". The question is how do these defects actually affect us? Even one? What about multiple defects? Is this the reason for sales tanking, for some sellers?
You know.. My take on 'q4', and I'm no expert, buuut, I think a lot of consumers are conditioned to buying 'new' for christmas gifts\shopping. We'll get SOMNE christmas shoppers for sure BUT I think the best time for resellers is after xmas when everyone has 'found money' be it in cash or gift cards or whatever and we know how much people LOVE spending found-money on themselves. Last year January\February were my best months. Also, people get tax money, more found money. But honestly. A lot of 'normies' would feel weird buying second hand stuff for loved ones xmas gifts, even if they shouldn't haha.
eBay is absolutely slowing due to market share, and the economy. COVID money is depleted, and credit card debt is mounting. I’m actually only down 9% on the quarter vs. last year… but this holiday season is where I lost all of it. I’m down 30-50% Nov and Dec.
eBay is also charging almost double the fees if you’re promoting. They are also buying back a lot of stock to keep investors happy. The numbers are there, and they are showing some crutches.
eBay is not dead but more sellers are going to Whatnot to do live auctions for fast money on live auctions…I have seen lots of sellers go over there…no offense but you as well, been a viewer for years and still a fan!!! ❤
@@hiyall2952 I would agree with “faster” but not tons more. The only ones I see making tons more are getting paid so much from WhatNot, they basically have their sourcing paid for.
My peak was 2020 which is for most sellers bc of the pandemic. 740k gross sales on all 10 platforms this year 390k mostly due to amazon pricing policy is destroying Amazon sellers
Sales for me are up 47.9%...i know why for myself though... Multiple reasons. I'm happy, but it's still part time, though i treat it like its full time. I try to fo the best on everything...pictures, descriptions, shipping, etc i fo price at the very high end...for a readon as well.
Is eBay dead? No. Am I dead? Yes... on the inside... On a more serious note, yes. It gets disheartening being absent while handling family issues to just restarting after a couple of years and only having one sale every few days. I just have to keep in mind that I'm restarting from almost scratch. But is it eBay's fault? No. There are many factors at play, some out of our control, but many within our control.
People going over to sell on whatnot I think is part of the problem! I have seen several eBay people go over there so if course…for fast auction sales why wait? I will NOT shop whatnot anymore because I have been treated like trash and sent crap and damaged stuff from there….after 1000s off dollars over there and even slllloooww shipping!!! Forget it! Deleted the app and won’t go back!!!
Has Ebay stopped giving high rank in search for items expiring? My auctions no longer get views, even in the last couple of days. I think Ebay is forcing sellers to promote items, but on $.99 auctions of stuff sellers just want to liquidate? Stupid Ebay.
I’m close to being out of business after 17 years on eBay. I sell new underwear product. Overstock and Closeouts. Copies from overseas are beating us and we have the real brand. How many people are aware that sellers in China can ship free up to four pounds subsidized by out non stop postal increases. Can no longer compete in this new product. We have 50k items and 2,200 listings. Sales have evaporated.
My 90 day total atayed strong all year long until October, and I fell off the map. Im up from then, but still not completely what i was January to September. Im double the store over last year, but I havent seen the respective increase. Thats not ebays fault though, my categories have changed due to sourcing opportunities. One good thing year over year, is I have transitioned to an everyday goods seller. Unfortunately some of those things you put off during Christmas to afford to buy gifts. What i sell predominantly isnt "gifts". Good thing is my sales stay strong most of the year rather than dipping after Christmas. I do meed to focus some energy towards gifts for the Q4 bump in 2024
Overall, my eBay sales have been varying degrees of crappy the past few years. My personal experience this year, regardless of sales platform, is that n9t much at ALL is selling at listed prices. I've taken many DEEP DISCOUNTS on my prices to stimulate holiday sales, and its only somewhat working...
eBay isn’t dying. I’d be willing to bet most sellers who say this aren’t promoting and they’re prices are high. I resell very part time. I don’t specialize in anything. I promote at what is recommended and my sales are always steady. I put my whole store on sale 50% off for a few days and sold so much I could hardly keep up with shipping.
I had my best month ever in November. I think Q4 will be my best.., well maybe until December 16th when the Christmas shipping deadline rears its head. 😀
I believe Whatnot has a lot to do with Ebay problems. Not all sellers have a presence on other social platforms.I am not a fan of friends with someone I don't know or have any connection with. SOOO.that lets me out of Whatnot.I am seeing Utubers neglecting their Ebay stuff and having countless Whatnot auctions. ...some Utubers doing several auctions a day!! Rediculous!! People love instant gratification....and Whatnot is just that!! Why isn't Ebay doing something like Whatnot for their sellers???
Picked some golf covers because of you. And finally sold 1 yeaterday. Paid for everyone i bought and in the profit. Thanks CWP

@@JohnnyLightningV10 The 1099-K rule is still 20K for 2023. If you are buying to resale, you are a business -- that is not a hobby.
Q4 sales nearly flat as compared to 2022 thus far. October and November much improved over the past few months.
It used to be q4 was the best for me everything sold. This year is very slow. Barely getting any action.
Are you doing calculated shipping? Ever since I switched to my own flat rates sales have gone up significantly.
Positive business advocates may blame individuals
Individuals may blame situations and businesses .
The reality is - - there are internal and exturnal situations and plenty of possible
reasons for them.
No wonder even some of those who can handle the tax forms are bailing.
shipping costs going up more in January, its got to hurt our sales
Regarding selling on eBay I believe the more seasoned sellers that are willing to adapt to changes are doing well. Are my items selling for what they were selling for a few years ago absolutely not and what was probably working a few years ago will probably not work right now. I look at it like the TV show deadliest catch We have to hunt down those king crab and every season it seems like they are in different location. The buyers are out there we just have to know how to go get them. Usually that comes with experience and those that are sharing their experience on RUclips can help those new people.
Hey Oh!
My sales are horrible and nonexistent for Q4. It's very depressing and infuriating, but I keep keepin' on.
Much higher on both but… my effort is WAY HIGHER. This is my main income this year therefore I MUST GIVE MAXIMUM EFFORT. Or I can’t pay my bills. 😂
Much much less in November compared to last year.
Awesome! Thank you!
Great video just followed
God Bless*
Sounds like you have my kind of stuff.
Mine are higher! I am listing better things though.
Part-Time eBay-er here (no other platforms, because I don't have time), Q4 sales are Phenomenal, just like the last few years, Ho Ho Ho!
Sales are ok. Shoppers really seem to be looking for great deals - I can be the lowest price available but customers still try to haggle
Higher bcz I m a newbie
Better than ever sales but I am working 2x harder so hard to judge
I'm at 162 dollars for all of 2023. Most things sit for months without selling. Ebay is dead.
eBay ups and downs are normal.
My year to date sales are up 38.7% compared to last year I changed how I get my inventory with a higher rate of return. I also focus on listing daily and not focus on daily sales. I just looked my December sales are up 11.3% more than last December.
👍
My sales are slightly higher YOY. I am only in my 3rd year selling part time. But, I just got a lot of high value fast selling items. I am optimistic to end out the year with a decent YOY gain. Happy Holidays!!!
Ebay is dying, time to head to Dibdit 👌🏻
Lol. eBay is thriving right now for us
@@commonwealthflipper nice! I just signed up for Dibdit, I really like how you guys set it up as a fun collector site.
Ive had a boost old items are selling to which is nice and big money items that have sat, I mean I dont get a lot of sales but just enough for me
Sales have been up all year.
Its the economy ppl, for poor sales & going to get heck lot worse in 2024
Im still a small seller but I went from 1-2 sales a week to 1 a day, to be fair though ive also been sourcing more
Are you doing another St. Jude auction?
A big one eventually
I'm the problem, I will change, if I decide to
Then you have sellers who want to charge top dollar when its been up for sale for 5 years on the site
Worst Q4 I’ve had in over 10 years on eBay. 🤨
My sales are great for Q4. I am up 50%, some of that up tick is it is Q4 but I also am listing consistently and list better items.
Wow! How random!! I’m friends with 2 of the puppeteers from The Great Space Coaster. They are working on getting figures made lol.
eBay is absolutely slowing due to market share, and the economy. COVID money is depleted, and credit card debt is mounting. I’m actually only down 9% on the quarter vs. last year… but this holiday season is where I lost all of it. I’m down 30-50% Nov and Dec.
This is interesting…. My buyer count is up. They are just spending much less.
eBay is also charging almost double the fees if you’re promoting. They are also buying back a lot of stock to keep investors happy. The numbers are there, and they are showing some crutches.
Whatnot is taking many people over there because they can make tons more faster doing auctions live.
eBay is not dead but more sellers are going to Whatnot to do live auctions for fast money on live auctions…I have seen lots of sellers go over there…no offense but you as well, been a viewer for years and still a fan!!! ❤
@@hiyall2952 I would agree with “faster” but not tons more. The only ones I see making tons more are getting paid so much from WhatNot, they basically have their sourcing paid for.
Working harder than last year and sales are down 24.8% year over year.
Today ours hit down 50%. We're doing all we can. Hoping for a better quarter for us all.
My peak was 2020 which is for most sellers bc of the pandemic. 740k gross sales on all 10 platforms this year 390k mostly due to amazon pricing policy is destroying Amazon sellers
Sept was good, oct was awful, nov was good this month is slow again. Im also have a booth in an antique shop and I am doing fabulous this quarter
I do meed to focus some energy towards gifts for the Q4 bump in 2024
About the same for me
Overall, my eBay sales have been varying degrees of crappy the past few years. My personal experience this year, regardless of sales platform, is that n9t much at ALL is selling at listed prices. I've taken many DEEP DISCOUNTS on my prices to stimulate holiday sales, and its only somewhat working...
And Subscribed.
By far my best year on ebay since I started in 2012. Up 49% since last year. (429,000) in sales
nov was way better than oct
eBay isn’t dying.
My sales are up, and I've been doing less work. I've been burned out and lazy, so I haven't really listed much in months.
People tend to go where they make the most money for the least work. Who can blame them
I sold 8 items for $450 this weekend Monday and Tuesday zip. I just ride the wave.
