I had a buyer open a case without messaging me first. They were claiming item not received when tracking showed delivered 3 weeks before. EBay refunded them, but didn’t take money off me. Absolute scam customer.

Tupperware used to have a guarantee that you could exchange a worn out piece of TW (not some other brand people call Tupperware but it's rubbermaid or something else, for a new piece exactly the same. Try it. I've done it different times. I sold Tupperware way back in the 70's - yes, I'm old :)
I sold Tupperware in the early 80s. I'm old too! LOL As far as I know, Tupperware still offers that policy; at least as of a couple of years ago, they did. They won't take back anything damaged in and say, a dishwasher, but if it was cracked or misshapen from age, they would definitely replace it. (but you know that) 😊 🤗

I was watching another ebay seller's channel and be also sold a "Walt Disney Scrooge" poster and his buyer said the same thing as your buyer, they weren't happy and they did not see the dollar sign on the poster. go figure!
I’ve had 2 first time buyers this month, I was hesitant with one due to the price, but in the end both paid promptly and items were delivered with no issues.

I've been nervous selling to first time buyers but I've always sent them out and made sure to package it very well and insure them if it's expensive. I've had a few buyers make an account that day to buy from me, and I had no problem with them.

I noticed that I had missed a potential buyer's offer that was sent to me, so I sent this person a message stating that I would give them a deal on a couple of similar products, and this morning I received a message from this person stating she wanted her money back. I thought, WHAT? I've have never SOLD her anything! I have no idea what she's talking about. 😂 But meanwhile, my biggest concern is just trying to build my business, which is why I'm glad to have stumbled across you and your videos. Thank you. In the for whatever it's worth department, I am desperately seeking some plastic lids for the old vintage 3 lb Folgers cans, from the 60s and 70s. If you ever come across any, I'll buy them from you LOL
On some things if it’s my fault I don’t have the buyer return the item. I got a return the other day and the buyer sent me back something way cheaper than what I sold them and kept my item. I was frustrated at first bc eBay refunded them quickly but they did end up ruling in my favor and I got my money back. Made me feel good that the eBay crew actually looked out for the seller in this case
It's been a great couple weeks since Thanksgiving for me. As for new/0 feedback buyers, I always sell to them. Everyone starts at 0 at some point. For the most part the worst case scenario, and it's been rare, has been they can't pay off an offer for some reason and then I just relist the item. No worries on my part.

I seem to get a lot of returns these days (UK ebay) last 3 items were for "didn't fit" listing gives exact measurements and photos include measuring tape showing sizes, one was pair of new Levi's jeans, Levi's tag says 32/32 however measuring tape showed the inside leg as 31" buyer said they did not fit. I find that jeans even new, tags differ from actual measurements may be because washed etc after tags fitted. Re: first time buyers or very low feedback in my experience are the ones who leave negative feedback right away without any communication.

I've seen a rise of returns (not that I have many) being returned damaged because it wasn't packaged properly or on my refurbished vcr's, the security/warranty label removed...which is why I video the preshipping testing and boxing.
Do you have USPS issues around this time of year pre Christmas? Last year I had three sales ship back and forth acrous the US before finally being delivered.
Happens every single year.... so far this year I've had 11 packages either mis scanned or mis sent. They all eventually made it where they needed to go.
I have had a few returns this year. If they send it back , I deside if I will relist or donate it . Most times buyers don't return and I do not then need to refund. Ebay closes these cases.

Buyers who Return, or Not: have only had 1 return message this quarter. It was a New/Old Stock Panel Meter that he said was Inop out of the package. He did not send it back (at least not yet anyway), so maybe he expected me to refund without return, which I very rarely do.

And it won't be here till Jan! I think ill just buy new DVD's from here from now on instead of getting them cheaper elsewhere.

However, going back to your listing that eBay once removed…you referred to it as a “leather vest Harley Davidson (other names too) patches”. You insisted the title then was fine, even though someone searching for a “Harley Davidson leather vest” would surely find yours. I’m wondering why it was right with the “Harley vest” title and not right to put “LSU dammit” or “Grinch dammit” in these titles??? Thanks…

people are being suied for useing name brand on stuff they sale on ebay one was suied for 25 thousand dollars an the company won the case

It is not owned by amazon. I has a very very different model than ebay. It is a mix of a Facebook Group, Discord, Ebay and Whatnot.

I did not put Harley Davidson vest. I put leather vest with a Harley Davidson patch.
Also my issue was not with them taking the listing down. My issues was with. The suspension and locking down money.
