I agree they should absolutely be looking at the buyer more. I had one the other day that I reported to EBay and EBay kept saying I had reported buyer multiple times , I said no I have not. He is a first time buyer. She put me on hold to look into it. Came back and apologized,he has been reported 48 times but by different sellers.iI was told they would look into it. I blocked the buyer but could not believe that after 48 complaints he hasn’t been banned because I would bet if it was seller they would be banned for life.
Recently had a buyer make a false item not as described case and open a return. So after forcing me to pay for return shipping, they send the package but then put a stop shipment on it before it gets to me. I warn ebay that I suspect a fraud is taking place, and the ebay rep on the phone agrees with me and makes notes detailing the suspicious activity, but a few hours later I get a massage saying the buyer had asked ebay to step in and resolve the return case, and that ebay has decided to refund the buyer due to the item being successfully returned to me. I of course appeal this decision, talking to an ebay rep on the phone and detailing exactly how they committed their scam and showing the return tracking details as clear evidence that the item was never delivered back to me. The ebay rep submits my appeal for me and assures me that the original decision was clearly a mistake and that this appeal will most certainly solve the issue. 2 Hours later I get a message from a different ebay rep saying " I have reviewed your appeal, and while I understand it can be frustrating that you believe the item was not defective, since your item was successfully returned to you, we have decided to uphold the original decision and side with the buyer. This decision is final and you may not appeal it further." So the scammer buyer not only gets my $500 item, but they convince ebay to pull the $500 payment from my account and deliver it back to them on a silver platter, all because two separate ebay employees couldn't be bothered to read more than 2 sentences of my detailed and thorough messages informing them of the scam, or even to check the attached tracking information clearly showing the item was never returned to me, before they both side with the buyer like brain-dead zombies and inform me that i have no further recourse. At least the last ebay rep had the courtesy to tell me she's sorry that I feel frustrated for being wrong about the buyer who they knew was actually right all along. After going through this horrible experience, I now preface every message I send to Ebay customer service with "Please take care to read this message in full from start to finish before replying or taking an action related to it. Thank you in advance ."
I had a very similar thing happen to me on eBay as well. Extremely abusive / inappropriate messages from the buyer. Also claimed I was selling other items from underneath them 🤷🏼♂️ - I had the items stopped in transit and re-routed back to me. Contacted eBay, showed them all the messages and they sided in my favor. They make up an extremely small minority of buyers, but take up a large amount of sellers time. Keep up the vids! You got me started on eBay :)
Right. If you have a high quality listing with a good description and not the cheapest price with offers open the interloper scammers will always just give the worst lowballs.. Thanks for showing your cards.. Automatic Ban. You can tell if its a new buyer into their category after a while so I wont ban the new buyers that have questions about how its packaged. Those buyers are the most work at first but they always come back after they get their item.
When I sell an item that is more money than I’m comfortable losing I always call the buyer and say the following: “Hello, this is Mitch. You purchased the (item) from me on eBay. With all the fraud going on I just wanted to make sure you actually ordered it and no one hijacked your account or credit card”. This gives me the opportunity to get a feel for the buyer and also lets the buyer know that I am able to reach him. Only once did I have the feeling something was off and in that case I cancelled the sale. Every other time the buyer thanked me for going the extra mile to protect his account and since I sell a lot of collectibles, I’ve often had a nice conversation about the item and collecting in general.
I think it's the same buyer who targets other resellers on youtube. The same kind of wording. If it's the same one, he'll return you a box full of disgusting trash. If you block him, he will create another account from the same address and buy from you again. You absolutely must report him.
Tip… roll pennants on a cut down empty paper towel tube or gift wrap tube then stuff tube with choice of packing. Never had an issue. Also old FELT creased pennants are rejuvenated with a steam iron.
That buyer's message sounds almost identical to the one that Wick got on his Flipping Junk channel, and that buyer was from Chicago as well and did the political rant, etc. She then sent him literal garbage twice. Look at his videos "eBay buyer returned a hate package and eBay refunded the scammer" and the follow-up to it, which is "eBay buyer scammed me and returns used underwear and rotting food instead of item sold...again." She had a different user name the second time.
Whenever I have a buyer that asks too many questions or precarious questions I block them. In my experience buyers like that have only led to unrealistic expectations like paying for used but literally expecting new and ridiculous returns. I provide a high degree of customer service for realistic buyers and I simply don't have time for people like that.
Wow, I’m sorry that happened to you! I recently had to block a buyer that would not stop messaging me. They bought an original Xbox system from me that was in excellent condition. I had pictures of it working and everything. This buyer then messages me saying “It has a crack in it. I want a refund.” Then, they accused me of sending a cracked console. I told them to open a return request and that I would be glad to refund them once I received it back. They ignored my return suggestions and said it worked (they still wanted to keep it), but continued with the refund demands. I kid you not, they demanded a refund probably 10-15 times! I even refunded them $10 to cover most of the shipping, but they ignored it and still demanded a full refund. I had to call eBay 4 times (no kidding!) in a span of 4 days because this buyer would not stop messaging me. I could not reason at all with this individual and felt like a broken record repeating the same things over and over. Ebay told me that I could stop responding and that I could block them and thankfully I was finally able to. Haven’t heard a peep for over a week. People can be crazy!
I had one guy tell me I had sent him the wrong Franklin mint car. $160. He requested a refund and the car he wanted. I had not sent the car yet and told him that. I also told him the order was cancelled and that he was blocked.
So strange! I had almost the same thing happen to me. I sold an item on Jan, 8th and shipped on Jan. 8th. I also have two day shipping. Customer opened a case on me Jan 10th with their credit card bank that item was never received. Tracking shows that on the 10th the package was in Brooklyn where is was suppose to be, just not delivered yet. Customer opened case in less than 48 hours (remind you, two day shipping). I hope that Ebay backs the seller and not the buyer trying to scam.
I got one of those buyers in Michigan, he complain first because it had not arrived before Christmas, which he had just purchased the item on the 30th of November, which still is cutting it close as far as it going through shipping and getting there on time. He complained because he was held up in his state at one of the post office for two weeks. He filed a refund through ebay but complained because ebay wouldn't do anything because it was held up in shipping, he then got his bank involved. I got the post office to return the item. He got his money back, I got the item to resell. he was not getting both, like he wanted.
Sounds like the buyer either wanted something free or isn’t mentally well. I do believe it would be best to block them. I wouldn’t give them the chance to do this to you again. You’re very kind and I hate to see kind people treated so badly.
I’ve had a few first time buys that I was very skeptical about shipping to since accounts were only a few days old and items purchased where more expensive than I normally sell. Well so far all of these have worked out, knock on wood.
Years ago, I had a buyer who was abusive and threatening. It took almost a month of Ebay and I going back and forth about it. Buyer eventually was suspended for a few months. She tried again when she got back, Ebay warned her she would be removed permanently. I'm sure she was fuming, but she left me alone. I'm betting she tried it with others. Another buyer sent threats, then had his nephew in another state try it on me. NOT kidding. After Ebay investigated, BOTH were removed. You have to wonder, huh? LOL
I have never had a problem with a first-time buyer (selling for 20+ years). Back when people were able to send payments by mailing a personal check, I think there was one first-time buyer who took forever to mail the check, but it eventually arrived.
Some buyers are entirely unhinged. It's sad that eBay is so protective of them rather than trusted sellers. I'm so sorry this happened to you. You are right, eBay needs to do something about buyers like this. I've had another seller attack me over shipping prices, she was insistent on how much shipping would cost if I used this certain priority mail box, and that "she's only trying to help since my store was so small and I would likely never get business with shipping so high" (My store was a month old lol, and I calculate shipping ahead of time to not charge buyers too much 😊) The box she insisted I get? Discontinued for a year, and my shipping price was cheaper than using it lol I had to block her over very inappropriate things she had said to me. Some people need to relax, to act that way is not okay.
I had a buyer open a return on an item we discussed and told her I would sell it to her for half off because of the damage. She in turn files with a photo of other damage. Funny thing was, it hadn't even left my state. She bought it at night and filed the next morning.
There is a reason why 2/3 of counties in Illinois have begun discussions on finding a way to break away from Illinois / Chicago and join with neighboring states.
Holy cow...so sorry you were treated that way. If they were in a brick and mortar store they would be shown the door. Show this rude insane person the door!
AWESOME SAUCE! ANDRE THE GIANT STICKER! How can someone leave THAT kind of idiocy when they don't have what they bought and paid for yet?! Makes zero sense!
I remember watching a video from FlippingJunk and he also got a "return" from someone in Chicago and the message was very similar. But the return was literally just a box of trash. I'm gonna go on a limb and say it's connected. Hopefully ebay does something.
Sorry to hear this happened to you. I had an awful experience with someone in IL. Only they sold me something. Gave me the wrong tracking number. I contacted ebay then correct tracking number was provided. Then once I got the box items inside not as seen in the photos in the listing. Never got one of the items and one of the dolls dresses wasn't even the same so contacted ebay again. Thank goodness I got a partial refund. I didn't leave a review as they were mentally off giving other buyers reviews a hard time in an extreme written way (which the other reviews weren't up when I purchased). I blocked them then that afternoon another person under a different account asks me about the thing I just bought. Like if I was going to sell it. Not even joking they were from the same town. Blocked them then a few months later in December under another name asked me again if the item I bought back in July was for sale. Then took down their message. I blocked them. Then under another name sent me multiple messages asking me giving me a sob story how they shouldn't have sold it. Had the nerve to tell me the price to list it for in a buy it now format. What was crazy was each time they asked it was in messages under other items I had for sale (not even related to the item they were asking me for). Just because I buy and sell off of eBay doesn't mean I am selling what I just bought. I have the right to collect things I want and sell what I want. Red flags: were telling me what to sell and what to sell it for in buy it now. The original seller was never mentioned. Then remembering the original picture of the item I thought I was buying didn't match the item they were trying to supposedly trying to get back from me. Item I purchased in July was given away as a gift so not even in my hands anymore and even if it was they are off their rocker thinking I would sell to such rude folks. So I just keep blocking and contacting eBay. But ya annoying and should be banned
It’s really horrible for anyone to treat you badly. I follow many resellers on You Tube and you are probably one of fairest, kindest most understanding and respectful sellers out there. Keep being you Kevin…you are one of the MVP’s of this business…from your biggest Canuck fan⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I use cleaner bags, you can use plastic on each side and then roll. We actually use this method when packing a suitcase for a trip. Your clothes will never be wrinkled.
Yes, the buyer can be wrapped in mental illness. That said, cyber bullying is cyber bullying. period. When someone like this comes into my inbox, that makes it personal and public. I block all kinds of buyers for all kinds of reasons. Definitely would not respond to the person myself, I would go through ebay then block him from purchasing in the future. Sounds like frankly a viewer troll to me.
Ebay is s side bit for me. I sell in UK and usually post with Royal Mail as they very good for not loosing parcels. Anyway even if I buy simple second class postage with them on ebay there is always tracking number provided. Recently had a person claiming that didn't get the product. So I go into tracking and it shows they tried to deliver, nobody answer and item is waiting at depot to pick up. In UK if we miss the postie we get a card with info about where the parcel is(you can also choose a neighbour that they can leave the parcel with or safe place like shed etc). So I tell the guy what's going on. He opened the case and wants his money back and asks me why he needs to go to post office and pick it up🙄 well I responded to it and waited. Never heard anything back. Asked ebay to step in and they actually said I was right, no need to refund and all comments from that buyer will be removed. I forgot the whole case and few weeks after the item comes back to me, labelled as not picked up. So I refunded the guy anyway as it was right thing to do.
I recently sold a Monopoly game. It is a first time buyer with feedback from one person which says “hope to see you soon”.my alarm bells went up but I was conflicted about continuing with the sale. My issue is it is an international sale from Australia to Mexico. My shipping cost charged to the buyer was less than the actually shipping cost. So I paid an extra $20 dollars out of my own pocket to send the game. Everything so far has gone smoothly. I have been tracking the item and can see the item has cleared customs in Mexico and is with the postal carrier for delivery in the country since 4th of January. I honestly feel like I’m going to be scammed in some way but I know I have to give this person the benefit of doubt & try not to be judgemental. It says estimated time to be delivered to customer is between 2 - 26 February so I’m on high alert. As it is an international sale I have said to treat the item as abandoned if it is not delivered as the cost to return to me would be too high. I’m on high alert and waiting for something to happen but am wondering what eBay will do as I have done everything right on my end.
Why doesn't eBay remove the deadbeat bidders who never pay? Now we can't even report them for nonpayment. We can only cancel the transaction for nonpayment. Nothing ever happens to these deadbeats!
Something similar happened to me. Sent the buyer a DVD which was played once and cleaned before sending. When she received it she said it had spaghetti O's all over the cover. I told her I sent her a clean DVD and then she started the rant, in not very nice language. Email after email and I reported her. I called eBay and they said to block her which I did because I knew I would be getting these emails forever.
Good information. I actually had a buyer who wanted to return an item say he accidentally bought the item on eBay and then accidentally paid for the item. How is that possible???
That was truly over the top, and you're so patient! I just want to make it clear, I'm from Illinois, near Chicago, and 1...not the best 2. we don't all act that way. I wonder if the governor sent that 😊
Kevin as a fellow former Californian I'm inclined to agree with the buyer. I think you are better off in VA. Better for you to stay clear of Illionois as the new CA and the old CA. Hope it settles easy and you can block after and keep crushing 🤙 Never known what happens after dispute resolution and block.
Ebay needs to rate buyers by the number of purchases divided by the number of returns or claims. If a buyer makes 20 purchases and returns or claims 7 purchases, that buyer would have a rating of 65%. Then, as sellers, we could filter out any buyer who has lower rating than 90% and other sellers could set their threshold as they see fit. We should also be allowed to apply a price surcharge to any buyer who has a high return rate, to cover potential claims. This would drive the bad buyers off the Ebay platform and benefit the good buyers and all Ebay sellers.
Hi Kevin Greetings from New Jersey. Another You Tuber (Flipping Junk) had a similar experience a few months ago and i believe it is the same buyer. This individual was from Chicago ,opened a return and gave similar negative feedback. When the return was delivered, the package did not contain the item that was purchased. It contents were used dirty items. When it was reported EBay did back the seller and the feedback was removed along with refunding his cost of the item. Just wanted to let you know just in case this buyer returns the item Best Regards Gary
I’ve gotten a couple messages similar to that. I just figured they were drunk. I am in Wyoming and have had people that didn’t believe we had resources to mail items. One lady said she knew it would take weeks to get her item because Everything had to go to Colorado. lol. Sorry you’re dealing with this. eBay did suspend one of the buyer accounts.
You walk into a retail store and usually their is a sign saying "They do not accept abusive behaviour and will be asked to leave". This is something that Ebay should uphold for there sellers! These are in Aussie stores I'm not sure if this signs are shown in the retail stores in the States!
I buy a lot on ebay and I never really messaged the buyers. I usually buy games and technology and a few products I've ordered there were most likely mistakes made by the seller
I have had 3 sales cancelled in the past 3 months that they removed the buyer but all were days after the item had been delivered. I went to the buyer and it said the used had been removed. Not sure why they were removed. The email just said the sales were cancelled for my security.
My son quit selling on eBay because of the over 600.00 tax rule. I see now that this was postponed. My question is how do you get receipts from garage sale sellers. They do not want to give you one, therefore you have no proof for how much profit you made and then have to use gross sales rather than net. What do most sellers do? Just started watching your channel, very informative. I use to sell myself back when eBay first started. I’m now 74 and do not anymore. I may consider selling again as I still love thrifting and garage sales.
I think I have heard the same language used before from a return video posted on RUclips! The buyer returned the item with filled with junk! If this’s the same person you’re going to need a pair of gloves. This’s crazy!
There’s so many fraudulent buyers, my block list is almost to 50 buyers! So sad, that eBay still hasn’t figured out how to keep the sellers safe on their platform!
the only way theyll side with the seller is when you have to call the buyers city police dept. on them ,then u give ebay the police report number and email the report made, that is, of course in the case of theft.
Wow! Don't you wish that first time buyers that complain could write in complete sentences using correct grammar. It makes it so much easier to understand. Also, how can you complain about an item that hasn't been delivered to your house yet? This person should be banned from buying on Ebay. No business should have to deal with this type of customer. Kevin, I enjoy watching your videos! Don't let someone like this, who is clearly disturbed, ruin your day or business model. Keep doing you!
@FlippingJunk This has got to be the same buyer who did the return on the HiVis vests. I read the msgs on Discord and it sounds exactly like the messages you received.
I came here to post the same thing! Didn't he say the guy was from Chicago too? The weird spelling sounds just like him. He must be targetting RUclipsrs. Kevin, you should get ahold of the RUclipsr 'Flipping Junk' he's had 2 issues with this guy and when he returned the item, he ended up sending back some really disgusting things like used underwear and rotting food.
There is another reseller on RUclips (can't remember who it was) but they got the same type of feedback - it was a guy from IL. The main difference is they sent him two packages that were full of junk and some things were disgusting. It does sound a lot like the same guy with the wording that he used. His message said almost the same things - and it was also about Chicago.
Kevin is an awesome reseller and he's always kind and he lives his life the same way and part of his success can be contributed to that but he also works very hard.
An idea just hit me! You could save paper towel rolls to lightly the flags around? Also I thought you were going to say they left a harsh review, but that is crazy! 😳
I think Flipping Junk had a similar crazy return request like this. I believe the buyer sent back garbage (literally garbage). I'd recommend simply requesting they return the item for a refund in a short message and block them immediately. Also, I would report the buyer as abusive language. I know eBay does permanently ban person by name and SSN. Rare but it happens.
Kevin. A buyer tried to buy a DVD from me but was getting an error message. He contacted me about it but didn't buy it. This DVD was cross posted and i think he tried to buy it there but didn't pay for it. A week later he sent me a nasty message about how the DVD was junk and he was going to report me. I told him he didn't buy it from me He gave me an apology.
If the item isn't even in their possession that should be enough to ban them let alone how off the rails they went! And as someone born in Virginia and came back for high school i love Virginia ❤
How come I’m having problems with sellers? I’ve had to take 3 refunds since Xmas. I buy an item and the seller disappears! No contact or communication or tracking. I spend a lot of time shopping eBay and all I get is a refund that I don’t want.
I feel you on the Funko Buyers and newbies! My 1 and only negative feedback is from a low baller Funko buyer! I had 2 new Funko pops listed as a lot as they were part of a special holiday set. BIN was 19.99 free ship. There offer was 10.99. I countered with 14.99. Accepted. Cost me 13.00 to ship coast 2 coast. Gets it and then leaves me negative feedback comparing about shipping and how people shouldn’t buy from me… dirtbags
Why does ebay allow customers to open a return when item is still in transit? Complete fail. I just had a request on a $150 purchase and tracking shows delivered on the 30th. Customer says they never received? Called ebay after getting the ebay automated run around and finally spoke to a live person. They said they will find in my favor on the 16th. Hope thats true. Your customer has some serious issues, no doubt. This holiday season on ebay ( for me at least ) was full of rude people. Not as bad as yours. Great vids as always. Take care, Dustin
Kevin what would you do? Sold a vintage Dallas Cowboys coat just like your Dolphins coat. She asked for a return. I accepted it she never responded to the ebay request with my shipping lable.. the time frame ran out and ebay closed the return request. She had over 40 days to return the item. Well it just showed up in the mail today 3 days after ebay closed the case. Would you refund them? Don't see how it would take someone 44 day to return a item.
Unfortunately I highly doubt eBay will act. I had a buyer one time say I was lazy and what was wrong with the world and say some other stuff that was worse all because I used the “sell one like this” feature and explained to them that I did to explain another sellers sku code in the title when they asked what it meant. Reported 5 times. Ebay did nothing. Messaged ebay on multiple platforms. Still. Did. Nothing.
@@commonwealthflipper I really hope this works out for you man. Hopefully eBay gets wise to the fact that their sellers also drive the platform. Love from Kentucky
I work in mental health & this sounds so familiar. You don’t deserve this but remember, this person is suffering a lot more than you. Thank you for being kind even though you don’t have to be. ❤❤❤ PS: wick from flipping junk has had some awful experiences with being sent disgusting items from someone who clearly needs help. eBay credited the customer but didn’t remove as I think it happened to him 2 times same buyer.
Thank you for being kind even though you don't have to be??? What did he do kind? Mention "I'm not going to pay him even if he returns it" , sounds like he feels he is better or higher up than most, and that would be thieving?? I'm sure these comments will get pulled and he won't have a response. ✌🏼💚🙏🏻from true honest resellers
Kevin , was this on the Jeff Gorgon jacket . I read the negative feedback and he stated that it was not leather as pictured . You never described it as leather .
I would write those people back that left you that feedback comments and say WTH are you talking about! People are getting crazy now days, I sell on eBay was well and have had some crazy returns with really weird messages as well... I mean what are we supposed to do. Kevin you do a great job all you can do is shake your head and move on.
The second someone sends a nasty message, not even feedback they are blocked. I don't want them buying from me and I don't want to sell to them. Remember some of these people are severely disturbed so I would not publicly post what they wrote.
I haven't had bad feedback. But what irritates me is when someone wins a bid and then two weeks have passed and they still haven't paid or replied to emails. I wish I could let negative feedback for those type of people.
I think that customer is a viewer that opened an Ebay account just to attack you. They were so impatient to mess with you that they couldn't even wait for the item to arrive. Their messages are based on what they assume about you (and where you live) from your videos. The item means nothing and they don't care about the consequences because it's a "burner" account.
@@SouthernVermontVintage Leave a RUclips comment? Sure, lots of times! But seriously, I don't think it was a crazy buyer that arbitrarily bought from Kevin. I think the customer was seeking him out (not the Funko Pop). Based on how crazy/personal the buyer's comments were, I think an Ebay Rep would find that plausible as well and justification for feedback removal or refund cancelation. I've dealt with a few "extreme" buyer reactions and when it's too outlandish and over-the-top the seller wins by simply contacting Ebay and not engaging the customer.
I have sold many times to 1st time buyers and I always think I will do my very best and give them a great taste of Ebay and its' sellers. I have had good luck. But, there are days we all attract people who are just out to have something/someone to complain about. Seems you've had your share lately. Keep up the good work!
Flipping Junk had one of those abusive buyers with their insane manifestos. The buyer was sending garbage back in their returns so wear gloves and make a video of the unboxing if you do get the return.
as a reseller myself on ebay, i laughed so hard i possibly split my liver while he was talking about virginia. I´ve never had any enetertaining messages like this, i´ve been lucky, most have been friendly or just ignore me when i message winners.
That person is legitimately nuts. I'm not sure why anyone would even hesitate for 1 nanosecond to block them. Please say the buyers name, I wanna block him yesterday
report him to ebay this is in breach of their member to member contact policy and I would not welcome this type of contact ebay should definitely banned them specially as they are lying and their messages are abusive, good luck but you must report them and their messages
Beyond eBay, it's scary that people like this live, work, drive, etc. amongst us.
I think it's the same buyer who targets other resellers on youtube. The same kind of wording. If it's the same one, he'll return you a box full of disgusting trash. If you block him, he will create another account from the same address and buy from you again. You absolutely must report him.
i totally agree with that on youtube sellers on ebay quote.
pay attention to the hidden meanings in names and addresses u send out too
Tip… roll pennants on a cut down empty paper towel tube or gift wrap tube then stuff tube with choice of packing.
I think its the same too. Poorly worded the same way. Hopefully he doesnt get some nasty packages also.
I was thinking the same thing.
That is what ticks me off about eBay how they dont look at both sides. I love buying stuff and selling but I hate the corrupt people who run ebay.
I’ve had a few first time buys that I was very skeptical about shipping to since accounts were only a few days old and items purchased where more expensive than I normally sell. Well so far all of these have worked out, knock on wood.
We all were 1st time buyers at one time, ✌🏼💚🙏🏻
Years ago, I had a buyer who was abusive and threatening.
LOL
Geez! I am sorry that happened to you! I will be on the lookout, as i am also in Virginia...
Wow what a nut. Someone was off his meds.
I reported probably 25 buyers over the last 2 years. And I'm pretty confident in the knowledge that they done absolutely nothing.
I have never had a problem with a first-time buyer (selling for 20+ years). Back when people were able to send payments by mailing a personal check, I think there was one first-time buyer who took forever to mail the check, but it eventually arrived.
Amen 🙏🏻 ✌🏼💚from Vermont
I remember this!! I just started back and shipping is so confusing to me!
Some buyers are entirely unhinged.
It's sad that eBay is so protective of them rather than trusted sellers.
I'm so sorry this happened to you. You are right, eBay needs to do something about buyers like this.
I've had another seller attack me over shipping prices, she was insistent on how much shipping would cost if I used this certain priority mail box, and that "she's only trying to help since my store was so small and I would likely never get business with shipping so high"
(My store was a month old lol, and I calculate shipping ahead of time to not charge buyers too much 😊)
The box she insisted I get? Discontinued for a year, and my shipping price was cheaper than using it lol
I had to block her over very inappropriate things she had said to me. Some people need to relax, to act that way is not okay.
I had a buyer open a return on an item we discussed and told her I would sell it to her for half off because of the damage. She in turn files with a photo of other damage. Funny thing was, it hadn't even left my state. She bought it at night and filed the next morning.
Fraud
Kevin…so sorry this happened to you. I’m from the Great State of Illinois and we ❤ you. Keep doing you and not all people from Illinois are crazy 😅
Be very polite, and offer to make it up to them by giving a 25% discount on a Trump Dammit Doll. 😂
It was very nice of you to refund after all of that....Did you ever get a thank you note?😄
@@jim7smith no, but I put one for the buyers
I would block them as soon as you can ...you dont need the hassle trying to make a living and people behave like that .
Good information. I actually had a buyer who wanted to return an item say he accidentally bought the item on eBay and then accidentally paid for the item. How is that possible???
Where did you get your wrist cuff?
That was truly over the top, and you're so patient! I just want to make it clear, I'm from Illinois, near Chicago, and 1...not the best 2. we don't all act that way. I wonder if the governor sent that 😊
Could that person be someone going from seller to seller complaining and asking for a refund hoping to get things for free? A scammer?
Kevin as a fellow former Californian I'm inclined to agree with the buyer. I think you are better off in VA. Better for you to stay clear of Illionois as the new CA and the old CA. Hope it settles easy and you can block after and keep crushing 🤙
Never known what happens after dispute resolution and block.
Flipping Junk had that same issue with a Chicago buyer about a month ago. You should connect with him and see if it was the same address!
It no doubt was
Hope you don’t mind me asking. I sent 2 packages out to two different people. But I sent them to the opposite person. How should l handle that? Tia
Hi Kevin
Greetings from New Jersey. Just wanted to let you know just in case this buyer returns the item
Best Regards
Gary
I suspect this is not really a first time ebay buyer. Would not be surprised if they lost their previous ebay accounts.
Along with their mind.
I’ve gotten a couple messages similar to that. I just figured they were drunk. I am in Wyoming and have had people that didn’t believe we had resources to mail items. One lady said she knew it would take weeks to get her item because
Everything had to go to Colorado.
Just write down what you paid and the date you bought it. That's all you can do.
That was the Mayor of Chicago!
the only way theyll side with the seller is when you have to call the buyers city police dept. on them ,then u give ebay the police report number and email the report made, that is, of course in the case of theft.
My son use to block a lot of buyers who were inappropriate.
That sounds like the same thing this other reseller has dealt with before his name is “flipping junk” and they sent back garbage like actual trash
Yep. My first thought too
100% this. Person on Flipping Junk also mentioned Chicago.
I came here to say the same thing
eBay has sided with me as a seller each time I’ve been taking advantage of.
And or your business card... Luv your videos, true follower and picker, resaler...
Sorry, was asking for your Common Wealth Sticker, and business card, by the way I'm in Ohio.... God bless you and your family... Enjoy the videos...
I told him he didn't buy it from me
He gave me an apology.
Based on that feedback, messaging you was the most exposure he has ever had to a teacher.
Very good observation...lol
good one lol
If the item isn't even in their possession that should be enough to ban them let alone how off the rails they went! And as someone born in Virginia and came back for high school i love Virginia ❤
Not sure if you need the weed or the doll or a combination of the both?.... 😂
Wow, what a mess! You are nicer about it than I would be.
Still. Did. Nothing.
We will see what we can do about that.
@@commonwealthflipper I really hope this works out for you man. Hopefully eBay gets wise to the fact that their sellers also drive the platform. Love from Kentucky
I’m from. Illinois and I think you’re great!
I’m sorry people are so mean. It’s unnecessary.
Someone gave me a low score because it took too long to be delivered. It took exactly 3 days from sold to delivery. 😮
Lol We get couple buyer like that every year. Me and my wife just laugh and move on. Not much else you can do.
Great video, Kevin! Thanks for taking a chance on first time buyers! We were all once, first time buyers! ❤ Another good video. Love tour content!
I work in mental health & this sounds so familiar. You don’t deserve this but remember, this person is suffering a lot more than you. Thank you for being kind even though you don’t have to be. ❤❤❤
PS: wick from flipping junk has had some awful experiences with being sent disgusting items from someone who clearly needs help. eBay credited the customer but didn’t remove as I think it happened to him 2 times same buyer.
My understanding is that eBay will not let you know about any action they take with a buyer.
Yup
I get 1 hard to deal with customer in around 1000 sales. Luckily most buyers are great. 😊
Ebay and Ebay sellers couldn't survive without first time buyers. Every buyer is a first timer buyer at some poinr.
The second someone sends a nasty message, not even feedback they are blocked. I don't want them buying from me and I don't want to sell to them. Remember some of these people are severely disturbed so I would not publicly post what they wrote.
Let it go Bro. The world is full of folks that haven't a clue. I'm sure You have plenty of good folks buying from You. Focus on them.
MSNBC viewer
Have you done something like this before?
I use paper towel tubes to roll pennants then box. No creases.
Flipping Junk had one of those abusive buyers with their insane manifestos. The buyer was sending garbage back in their returns so wear gloves and make a video of the unboxing if you do get the return.
That's exactly what came to mind, when I saw this. I wonder if he's targeting RUclipsrs to get his "message" out. :/
ive reported buyers, ebay just says thank you. then says they cant disclose any of the out come for the complaint
as a reseller myself on ebay, i laughed so hard i possibly split my liver while he was talking about virginia. I´ve never had any enetertaining messages like this, i´ve been lucky, most have been friendly or just ignore me when i message winners.
That is crazy 😂😂 I love to troll people that act like that so I'm not sure what I would do.
Wick at Flipping Junk got a message and return almost identical to that, he made a video on it. The person sent him trash for the return.
Saw that, too. Sounds exactly the same. Wear gloves when opening the return package, Kevin.
How insane is they buyer. The rant is crazy. Hopefully eBay drops this buyer.
