Yes love my BRN-22 build, only thing that could make it better is to put a valley down the rail so one can easily see iron sights..
Yeah, I can’t tell you how many of those receivers I put on a vertical mill and actually milled a slot through the middle so you could see iron sights. They never did that, I have no idea why not besides cost.
@@GunsmithBeard yes, it’s no real cost,those things are made on a CNC machine,all they need to do is add that step in the computer program, done.

I have a Hogue stock on my 10/22 but have been looking at the Magpul stock for mine... would be more useful with the features. Love the pattern on yours...really pops! Been considering a 10/22 build using the BRN-22 receiver. Way back when I put mine together, I picked up the cheapest 1-/22 I could find just for the receiver, bolt and trigger group...I trashed everything else. I think that rifle was well below 200bones. Went with the Tactical Solutions fluted barrel and Volquartsen trigger setup on mine. AND now have a Swampfox Kentucky Long scope sitting on it for shooting out to 100 yards.
You know I'm all about building. definitely a nice family type of build project. Would much rather do that than buy. Anyways, awesome video brother! thanks so much for sharing. Hope you're enjoying your Sunday.
That's great feedback. Building and cherry-picking your parts give you a better rifle at the end of the day. It's a great family project and the results speak for themselves.
