The best method to obtain all exotic class items is to open chests in the Landing. And to do that there is a convenient path you can always take to ensure you collect all 5 available chests per instance.
Following this path and reloading into the landing after collecting all 5 will net an exotic class item roughly per 15 minutes, with slight variation as this is luck dependant.

1. I like to strafe a bit to the right before the first bridge to check for chests that spawn in the center tunnel.
2. I like to go through the cave after the second bridge to check for the chest in the back, then strafe a bit left for the chest that spawns in that water cave.
Everything else is covered by the route👍

They need to make it to where exotic class item is guaranteed after completing Tier 4 Overthrow. Also let them be drops from Expert and Master Lost Sectors from The Pale Heart
there is a lot of problem in what your saying, first why tier 4 overthrow, not to be mad but it’s way too easy to get a guaranteed exotic item even more one in particular, it actually drop ergo sum half of the time and for me that haven’t already farm ergo sum i really prefer this, maybe always drop exotic engram or item but not directly class item, lost sector already drop exotic item and engram but it’s almost the only thing that guarantee you an exotic so it’s a good way to farm exotic collection (again I prefer it I don’t have all exotic i did a pause for 1.5 year). Maybe the expert and master lost sector could happen cause the pool is really not good, but still for those that want to farm exotic in general what happens ? Ergo sum has already 2 way to be farmed, dual destiny and chest where classic exotic are farmable with chest and lost sector, ergo sum : pathfinder (don’t count this one no one does it) and overthrow, it seems balanced to me, 15 min for an exotic is not really a lot of time
@@fayrebrand1402 I see, maybe have it to where per character per week, the very first Tier 4 Overthrow you complete will guarantee a class item drop
@@1chill_623 that could actually be a cool way to do it, or maybe a special lobby for an expert/gm mode with or without matchmaking, scaling difficulty or scaling loot, more ppl = harder or less loot and idk a 30% drop as 3 and 75-90% when solo, or if solo is 100% mob you have like 400% as 3 (including champions miniboss etc). they should had scaling drop to every loot pool as a solo player it would be way better
tried this but the chests aren't in those locations when I spawn into the landing
Without doing the Quest before you will loot no classitem in a thousand Years.

Well yeah obviously. If you never got the exotic you’ll never get it dropped randomly. That’s how it’s always been for since they’ve introduced lost sectors

So I can get a class item from using this method? Or should get the class item through the witches and then farm it?
You have to do duel destiny mission first then they can drop from chests

@@Foodran you have to do duel destiny on each character to get them all to drop,. If you do it on hunter only cloak will drop for example

Do all the quickest overthrow chests along the way and increase your drop rate.
You can finish actual quest in 15 min
Tried to unlock the mission but its guaranteed that destiny servers break once means i would need to do again so i just gave up
Super good farm to know but the exotic mission is much quicker and it’s guaranteed plus the first clear per character per week you get two guaranteed

You need to beat the Dual Destiny quest first on each guardian

This doesnt give you the escalting chance of getting one anymore, its better to just do overthrow now, but honestly I'm just waiting until we get focusing for them in the future.

I’ve done this farm it’s not once every 50 mins. You’d be lucky to get one every like hour and 20. You’re better off doing the exotic mission.
