Melanie is so passionately devoted to Ashley that I get the feeling that she’s been in love with him all her life, probably long before he ever noticed her.
Note there are steam locomotives in this clip, One of the most well known of this era was called The General which was stolen by Union spies and was chased while the men destroyed bridges and telegraph poles before being captured
At the 0:22 mark we see soldiers walking toward the camera. Are they escorting a Union prisoner? More importantly, I once read that this scene was intentionally cut short. There is clearly an abrupt cut. Can someone tell me WHY? What is it about this scene that is problematic?
I was laughing so hard because of Scarlett's face on 0:47🤣🤣🤣
Melanie, Rhett and Mammy are the most normal characters in the whole movie!

This movie is such a masterpiece! Thanks for sharing this clip!

The look on Scarlett's face when Mammy reminded her, Ashleigh was not her man 😂😂

I find it pitiful that Scarlett decided to wear the emerald green bonnet Rhett gave her to try to look pretty in front of Ashley.
Scarlett looks so out of place in that ostentatious bonnet.
