Cheers mate for that. 1. Wow, nice roads. A country town here in Australia you would be lucky to get asphalt/bitumen let alone anything as smooth as that. Even our city roads are hammered. 2. Of course the lighter you are the more distance and speed you would most likely get. But charge time, as you said would be a big deterrence for a lot of people. Anyway, much appreciated for taking the time to make this video.
I wonder if you could do a battery swop easy ? If so then just carry a extra battery or install a high amperage battery for long range. But really 7 miles for a small scooter in that price range is not bad.
@ 1:28 Trickle Chargers charge your battery fully! Fast Chargers only charge the battery about 80% full, and make the battery not last as long, because they are heating it. (If you pour sand into an oil barrel, it fills up fully, but if you drop volley balls into an oil barrel, it will fill up faster, but there will be gaps in it that you can't fill. That's analogous to how chargers work.)
Hey simon I wanted to say that I love how serious but silly your videos are like just riding along next thing we know you’re on your rear stealing out of control ha ha keep up the good work smilemore -zion
You paid almost $500 for a no name scooter, when I just got done paying $179.99, with free shipping for an almost identical one; aside from the fact it has the coil spring around the bar of the scooter, which is actually better and more shock absorbent like a bike.
i had the older version but with the samsung battery which longer range but made it 30km till i hit a crack in nyc n the hub stop running i was pisst but i was liking the scooter n how light it was i sort of wish the hub can be better
Great review. I am very interested in the Zoom Electric Scooter. I really like the foldable handlebar, it would be easier if you are commuting on Caltrain like I do.
Hi, I bought 2 stealth scooters second hand and there is heavy vibrations in the front wheels. Is smooth when using manually, so is a motor issue, not sure if they are brushless?
It is likely the Hall effect sensor. If that gets disconnected or anything like that, it will cause the motor to vibrate heavily. I am having the same issue for one of my electric scooters.
Ouch1 Just over 7 miles? Did you start at 100%? You have the lower-capacity battery. A higher-capacity battery can do double that. I just want you know that doing the kind of jumps you did will eventually loosen the connection at the bottom and crack the carbon fiber stem. These eScooters aren't made for stunts. Good video.
I have the same model with 10,4 Ah - range is 25-30 km (fully charged) my weight 70kg . Its pretty cool gadget . Buy from Ali for 330$ (with all tax to EU)
I get 22 km out of mine, I'm 70 kg and live in a hilly area. Gearbest decided to sell only the 6.600 Mah version which is a shame. The 10.4 AH version gives you almost twice as much as you experienced. The settings in the hidden menu are wrong that's why your readout is incorrect. Change the settings as I have explained in my review on ruclips.net/video/RyZaDcgzyUI/видео.html Besides, 25km/h is the maximum allowable speed for these devices. Everything that goes beyond this speed is not allowed to drive on the road.
Did you have to assemble it out of the box? If it did run out of charge, could you just use it as a push scooter with your foot? (Just to get the stupid thing home!) I would love to get something like this. I wonder how heavy/bulky it is to carry around. There is no way I could leave this outside, even with a lock. It would be gone before I even turned around!
1 have 2 copies of this scooter at my shop at karlaplan, stockholm sweden (batteridoktorn.se). I imported them from china. One arrived brooken and one brooke after a few minutes. Glad to see you got to ride yours a fem km at least. Also kjell.com and Hobbex just started selling these scooter for less then $300 with cheap chinease batteries. Dont know what gearbest puts in them but sure aint LG or samsung, right, have you checked? Also its almost inpossible to fix/repair them. Have you tried opening them? Motor brakes are good (regen) and they recharge the battery when activated but they have som troubles and can destroy the battery if used when fully charged.
Question: I need a scooter that I can also use without the motor. Can I push this myself and/or use the electric motor or that actually i sbad for the motor?
You can still kick the scooters when they are turned off, if they are turned on there might be magnet resistance, but the main problem is they are much heavier than normal scooters so your legs will work a lot harder and you will get tired quick. But yes you can still use it without the motor, just not recommended!
Hi, although is nice, you forgot one detail: if you overlook a fairly small hole on the street, you´re gonna loose a couple of teeth. Trust me on that one, a friend of mine is a skateboarder since years, got atht thing, 2 days later he fell like a pro. I prefer the Xiaomi one; longer range and bigger wheels. Granted, it's heavier and bulkier, but I prefer that in exchange for addtl security and range (plus the breaks are real and not the nominal one like this one has)... Thx for the vid!

Can you change the batteries, can you change the tire/wheel?
Really great review, and the scooter is good enough. Also I would like to see its batteries - no one has disassembled it yet:)

Ok thankyou, CYURenes, will follow that up, I've pulled the front wheel apart 👍
Damian Gaunt that’s awesome, I’ll be waiting for a follow up as i will be fixing this issue on my scooter.
Dude sweet intro picking up the camera
That's a pretty cool device. I'm just wondering how this would handle a rough ascend or a dirt road...
it wouldnt

What? 25km/h is the limit? I (like most people) can do 35 for some time on my non-electric bike..
should make a video of you making a faster charger. You could probably push the envelope on the max amps on the charging circuit in the scooter.
Good Video !!
I have the 1.0 version called the swangtron for about $379 on Amazon. You have the 2.0 upgraded version.
Carbon fiber at 6.5 kilos with 400-500 wats w/foldable handle bar and adjustable post.Perfect.
I'm not sure what brand it is. However, it does resemble a Partu e scooter
Sorry but I still prefer razor for the pure fact of tires, the the light and speedometer screen is awesome!

Hi. do u know the setting to reduce the cut off speed?
The range and speed depends how much you weight so one who weights more than you might only get like 6 miles and top speed of 20km/h
How did you get companies to send you 3D Printers to review? Did you have to contact them? If so how did you contact them?
Aha, it's our S3 carbon fiber scooter model, what your battery configuraiton, how long does it run after full charge ?
Can you still ride it manually with a kick if the battery runs out ??? Can you drag it like a luggage?
Is it possable to charge while riding the scooter? Cause if so you might be able to attatch an extra LiPo battery or something
Question: I need a scooter that I can also use without the motor. Can I push this myself and/or use the electric motor or that actually i sbad for the motor?

You should 3d print an electric longboard with the cr10. I'm working on mine and it's too fast!
Do a review on cheap diy delta printers
can u use it as a normal scooter, and also does it charge itself as you(if you can) manually drive it
Nice idea would be a 3D printed electric longboard diy
Can you use it as a regular scooter after battery dies?
Is it even allowed to go 25km/h in Sweden? I think scooters with throttles and without pedals are restricted to 20km/h
Hi do you know Where would I buy a charger for one I don’t have one thanks mick
Does it fold down to a smaller size like most manual scooters do?

How do you remove the battery and remove display.
im surprised you havent made a DIY electric bike video
So where can u buy a scooter that charge quickly
Can you 3d print one like it and how much will it cost
Does it go up hill? Like almost 45 degree hills
3d print a electric longboard use nylon or carbon fiber filament!!!
“Quit the shit shat”😂😂😂
