Guys this is my second scooter and when braking the Top tube plays any help would be much appreciated. Top tubes should have zero movement when the brake is applied unlike this model.. would be nice to show you how to prevent this movement!
I think I might buy one to get and from my work.
What I most concern is the foldable property cos it's strange to carry the whole one when not being in streets! I've been learning about the Alllu VehiGo‘s foldable electric scooter
I bought the same scooter with Qilive inscription in Budapest, Auchan warehouse for 60,000 Forint.
Great review dude I love your videos and you good luck
Thanks for the review.
Now that some time has past since you review the scooter and used it, how do you feel about the scooter now? Is it still function properly. Is it really worth it?
Hope you respond.
Damn 3 years no answer
$60 worth buying one?
mine is fine so far and i been using it for a year already
Dong Yuan Lu I have had mine for 3 months, but have 151 miles on it. I ride it 4 miles, 5 days a week in downtown Chicago. no problems or complaints for me.
I had one of these. The battery life on this scooter is very poor. As he stated, it doesn't get anywhere near 15 miles per charge, but more like 5 miles.
It's only useful as a "last-mile" vehicle to get you from work to a subway/bus stop/train. And you'll need to charge it every single day.
Lastly, there isn't much tread on the front (ie: powered) wheel. When the rubber is worn off, you'll need to take it to a repair shop for replacement (or send it back to Swagtron). It's not something you can easily do yourself.
I had on also I’m 180 lbs and I got like 3 miles on a straight road
I’d have to spray paint over the swagtron branding
Funny how so many people like yourself are embarrassed by the name of this brand. It's not like you're going to look super cool riding a kick scooter in the first place anyway so who cares about the branding. I couldn't care less what the jerkoffs out in public think about it.
Adam Burns I wouldn’t spray paint it. It wouldn’t match with the carbon fibre body. Plus, the branding looks nice. Not really sure why you’d be embarrassed with it.
Chris B. tbh same now, 2 years ago I clearly gave more of a shit 😂
Adam Burns lol
Thanks for this review. I am going to buy one of these for University. It gets old running back and forth between multiple buildings like an idiot and wasting so much energy.
You guys would have to try to ride this first to judge it. It's like ur judging a book by its cover. I've tried one and it's actually pretty good.
Whats the most secure way to lock it while youre out?
How do you charge it?
First question of many, how easy is it to put a freshly charged battery in it after you run out of your original battery that doesn't go anywhere near 5 miles or 15 even if you are a hundred pounds or lighter less than the maximum weight? How much did you weigh at the time of this video and how many miles should you get on a single 1.5 or 90 minute charge? What really bothers me when I'm shopping for a serious adult commuter Urban commuter electric scooter is that the people doing the reviews never say how much they weighed at the time of the review or actually how many miles they got and also the terrain that they tested it on. Almost all videos shows somebody testing these things out on the smoothest most perfect terrain and still are not getting more than 5 miles to the 15 miles at claims. Now you don't look like you're 220 or 250 lb but that should make all the difference shouldn't if you weigh 100 or less then you should be getting a lot more mileage per charge. Again I want to know how easy it is to get replacement scooters with a docking station so that you can carry them with you and that way you don't end up stranded or worse please just told the truth about the batteries and how easy they are to replace you can keep going
ltcomment
17lbs , tsa carry on , 1.5 hour charging
What helmet are you using? Model and brand please.. thanks
can you charge it with a power booster?
Can we run it like manual scooter and use the electric feature when needed
On all e scooters
& the swag helmet on
Throughout the video 1:36-1:49 you show and explain that there are 5 gears there are, but in other reviews of this scooter they usually state around this having 3 gears? Someone plz answer😞
I just received this scooter, it has five.
It’s really really simple. There are different models of the same scooter.
The swaggtron swagger scooter - along with a lot of other similar scooters with different brands - come from the same factory in China.
You have the base model witch has 3 gears, aluminum body, bad front lights and a 4,4 ah battery.
Mid model has carbon fiber/aluminum frame, 3/5 gears, proper led front lights and a 6,6 ah battery.
The pro model has carbon fiber body, 5 gears, led in the front and back and a 8,8 ah battery.

Now that was an answer worth reading...actually informative without snide remarks! Thank you for putting your two cents in!
Human Solidarity thanks for noticing. It’s an old comment so mind that things might have changed :)
@@benji376 I will keep that in mind, but knowing that they installed three different batteries in one model over time is extremely relevant information when one is considering a major purchase like this. Especially for someone who lives in San Francisco, like myself. Going home means climbing four or five blocks uphill. 👍
Where do you live? It looks very beautiful
How tall are you? I'm almost 6 feet tall would it be comfortable for me to ride?
I'm 5'7" tall. You shouldn't have any problem since I saw some tall riders use this scooter.
BikeFolded Can you tell how the scooter is running ?
You even Swagtron bro?
Can someone please tell me? If this scooter can be use for commuting
juan colombia the answer is no.
Unless work/school is WELL UNDER 6 miles away (3 if you’ve not bringing a charger), and if it never rains. The thing literally goes crazy when it gets in contact with water. After 1 moth it starts falling apart, and the battery capacity is significantly lowered.. also it rattles and isn’t very comfortable. Especially when it’s cold.
juan colombia don't know what this Debbie downer is talking about here, but I've had it for 2 months now. use it to travel in downtown Chicago for 4 miles every day. I've ridden it after it rains and have had no problems. I have clocked about 71 miles according to the odometer on it. as for comfort, it's what you would expect from a scooter with small wheels. just imagine one of those razor scooters with an electric motor.
I know someone who uses it to get to work which is a half hour commute each way at least.
thank you for the respond
thank you for the responds
?What is the fastest speed of this
15mph or 24km/h
It says 15 but because I’m light I can hit 20
are they actually "gears"? do you get more torque in lower gears?
no.
U can buy a xiaomi and u can go around as much as u want buy is simply the best for ur bucks.
I'm 62 would this SWAGTRON Swagger fit me
"I don't have to attach any other accessories..." How about a FUCKING BELL!!?
I have this scooter and gear 5 can go to 23 mph
?It really reaches 15 mph
Lol if you only weigh 90 lbs
Bought one used with only 20 kms on it. It's now a worthless piece of burned out junk. It only managed 85 kms before the motor burned out. I don't recommend this scooter. Chris Winnipeg Canada.
The front tire is dangerous because it turns 180 degrees unlike the xiaomi that has a limiter.
It's dangerous and a garbage scooter I have the 2 plus and omg ALL BAD
awful battery, seemingly solid but eventually crappy construction, problems and more problems galore! for 300 dollars, thats exactly what you're getting. Its no surprise that even searching up "carbon fiber scooter" in alibaba or some other chinese online market shows basically the exact same frame and design. Dont buy this product unless you want to throw it away in a month.
i just paid for one
cool beans. Come back in a month and tell me your opinions on it
It's possible that you had a defective battery. It's supposed to have up to 50 miles on a full charge.
Michael Kennedy wow... I mean a quick check on Amazon would immediately disprove your statement as swagtron usa literally states a 4-15 mile battery. like I said tho, maybe 2 miles on full charge with kicking. not to mention I got to try out FOUR swagtrons from Amazon due to their amazing return/replacement policy.
TLDR: the 4 SWAGTRONS I tested got 2 miles max on a full charge
Mike Kennedy why do you have two accounts commenting? also come back to this comment section after a couple weeks and tell me the state of the scooter. hell, tell me if it even reaches 4 miles per charge
Mine goes 19 mph
JUST 399
That's a great price
can i have 1
buy it yourself why are you asking for one? He's not even doing a giveaway
David Amakor qwdcgjkl
Supper..
Qilive scooter has no red light, unfortunately.
What up with the helmet? LOL
Safety bro. Scooters rarely have tail lights.
N0ZP1K3R its called safety numb nuts
This thing is junk and I'm being nice.
Can i bring on a plane with me
Like with not on the bottom of th plane
Battery life sucks!
How can you post a review without posting the model number in the details? So unhelpful
Cons: 5mph lol
Don't buy this scooter! It's just a waste of money.
Please tell me more I’m thinking about buying it
Thanks for Tour opinion about this BAD produkt. I Will NOT buy it
I can walk faster then rhis
Cringe
