As I checked all doctors need to do 3 years of IMT training before get in to speciality training do I need to get into IMT training or Neet Medicine Pg from India ? What if I do three year PG in medicine from India And also MRCP all parts , will I be exempted from dermatology training as I have already done 6 years of training in dermatology… Please guide me , thank you 😊
Hi, you will need to show evidence of competency to work as a specialist in the UK. This usually means going through training in the UK as they have quite strict criteria. Some people become specialty doctors/associate specialists instead. Hope this is useful!
Can you please suggest resources you use as Derm trainee in the UK to aid Dx and Management ( online, books..etc)
I use Dermnetnz, Oxford handbook for dermatology and uptodate for more comprehensive updated information.
