Cool! Thank you Bianca. I saw your posts on Slack all the time but it's the first youtube video from you that I watched from beginning to end. Can't wait to try the new version!
This new version looks great, but the lack of a mobile app (and they're not planning to have it anytime soon) makes it too difficult to use as the main PKM app.
I understand as I also use mobile quite a bit. I used to use the browser on mobile with version 1 but haven't tried the playground yet. In any case the screen of the phone is too small to properly work with boards. I suppose that a mobile version would be focused on quick capture, search, and etc. Not sure how the visual part of it could work 🤔 Any thoughts?
@@BiaResearcher Yeah, I get what you said regarding checking the board on the phone, but it's still important to be able to access cards. Heptabase did quite a good job with their mobile app where you can access cards but also boards. You can also capture information directly from the iOS sharesheet for example. While Scrintal looks appealing the fact they're really not planning to launch a mobile app (read a few comments from them about that topic) will be difficult for user adoption.
@@BiaResearcher Firs, thanks for the video. Loved to know the new features and the really made me want to check it out again. Regarding the mobile, I agree that the main focus could be for quick capture, access information of pages, blocks on the go. But even the visual board, it's possible to provide good enough experience to justify the necessity of it, just check Heptabase, Obsidian, Miro, Mural, MindNode, MindMeister...they all provide great experience on the visual board ✨
Great video. I am already on the new version. You video is very useful to better understand the potential of the new version as well how it will Work for my use cases.
amando te conhecer, Bianca! estou mergulhando no Scrintal de cabeça, mas vejo poucos conteúdos sobre ele no RUclips ainda 🤩 vou te acompanhar de pertinho
The new stacks feature will certainly help when it comes to planning uni assignments, for when you want to move blocks between different sections to see what flows better!
Thanks for the explanation of this new tool. There seem to be so many tools coming out it's hard to keep track of all of them. Just curious, the PKM mindsets book that you were showing on-screen, is that a real book or is that just something made to use as an example for the video?
You can share a board via a publishing link but there is no paywall embedded. If you want you can do the same people would do with Notion Templates in the past. Create your paywall and only give the board link after the paywall. The problem is that (like Notion) people may end up redistributing that link.

Glad it was interesting! 😊
Thank you for the preview! I've been eager to learn what this "playground for the mind" was all about. Looks great!
Let me know if you want to see anything else in particular and I will be happy to share a bit more 😊
Thank you Bianca for the preview. Looking forward to tomorrow 🫣
You are welcome 😊

@@BiaResearcher Heptabase has mobile apps with editable boards, I believe

These are some really cool features. Thanks for educating us.❤

That's cool! Anything in particular that caught your attention?
Great job! As usual. 👍

😊 Fico feliz em te ter por aqui. Alguma sugestão do que você gostaria de ver?

The PKM Mindsets are real, 30 and counting 😊 I teach them in my courses and mentorship programme but I don't have a book yet.
Your videos are very good. Do they planning for including TABLES soon? Like notion
Thank you 😊 I am not sure. By tables you mean visual tables or databases?
@BiaResearcher database table where we can sort and filter etc.
Can we share board with a pay wall?

I'm new here. Is it possible to send links programmatically to a board? I copy hundreds of Instagram links per month lol
Unfortunately not yet. It seems there are different import/export options in their roadmap but I don't have much information about that yet
This looks very much like Apples FreeForm. Or am I missing something. Looks very interesting though.
I never used Apple FreeForm so I wouldn't know for sure.
It looks a little like HEPTABASE but maybe better (?)
They are in the same niche but the experience in using them is different.
